I was frustrated with being pushed from doctor to doctor and getting inconsistent messages. That was stressful for me as a first time mother, so that is when I started looking for other physicians. Dr. Dan was recommended to me, and switching was the best decision I made. Dr. Dan goes above and beyond for anyone that he sees. He makes you feel like you're his only patient. He is kind, patient, and will make sure you're completely comfortable every step of the way. I was very anxious throughout my pregnancy for numerous reasons and expressed that during many appointments. Dr. Dan consistently checked on me and made sure that I was doing okay not only physically but also emotionally. I called him several times after hours, and it was never a problem. He took his time on the phone and made sure I was calm and feeling better before hanging up. He was truly a lifesaver. My delivery was a scary one, and I credit Dr. Dan for being an excellent, quick-thinking physician during a serious time. He got my baby out safely and knew exactly what steps to take to make sure my delivery didn't end up being critical. His years of experience made me feel confident that I was under the best care. I cannot thank Dr. Dan enough for everything. Even now in my post-partum weeks, Dr. Dan has checked on me a few times to make sure I am doing okay and if I need anything from him. I am beyond grateful for him and recommend him to anyone who is looking for dependable care. Thank you so much, Dr. Dan!

Dr. Dan is very personable, and has good sense of humor, no top of being excellent OB. I found him by talking on the down-low with the labor nurses who agreed the other practice had only 1 doc out of 3 worth his stuff, and Dr. Pesavento or Dr. Zimmerman were better options. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Gave us an appointment 2 months down the road. Kinda defeats the purpose of time sensitive to reschedule 60 days down the road. Bad customer service, so can't comment on quality of care. Pass on this place unless you like being given a run around.

Their hours stipulate that they are open from 9am to 12pm, but when I called at 9:30am, I had to leave a message with an "agent." The office staff is rude. And finally: I had called two days previously, on a weekday (because the practice refused to accept my pharmacist's request for a refill on a prescription the day before), and was told that a request would be put in if I made my annual appointment, which I did. They then did not forward my request to my pharmacist and I am now out of my prescription. I would highly consider a different practice, as I am sure there are several that could meet your needs as a patient.

Dr. Persino rocks my socks off! I started seeing him about 5 years ago after I moved to the area…read moreand read tons of online reviews of the options nearby. I decided to go to Dr. Persino after reading his really great Google reviews, and now, years later, I'm so happy with my decision! (I think the one review that really stood out to me was a woman who had said she moved 3 hours away but liked Dr. Persino so much that she continued to see him and had him deliver her two subsequent babies, even though she moved far away!). Here's the gist of why I think he's so great: He's been an OBGYN for many years, and is very knowledgable and confident in his abilities. He's hilarious and easy-going, and he really puts my mind at ease, since I tend to be a bit of a worry wort. His great sense of humor and super friendly demeanor make him very approachable and easy to talk to. He has out-of-this-world bedside manner, and does not rush through appointments. He will answer any and all questions you have, chat about random things, and even throw a couple one-liners in for good measure :) He delivered our son three years ago and did an awesome job. He knew I really wanted a vaginal delivery and after hours of labor and pushing, instead of recommending we do a Caesarian to just get it over with, he stuck by my side, cheered me on, and followed my wishes of letting me deliver my son vaginally (even though it probably took longer and was more inconvenient for him). I'm currently under his care for a twin pregnancy. I know Caesarian is more likely with a multiple pregnancy, and he has assured me multiple times that we will try for a vaginal delivery if possible. Knowing I'm a bit scared of a c-section, he has talked to me about the surgery and the whole process, and has really eased my fears. I know that my babies (and I) are getting the very best care under Dr. Persino's watch. I cannot imagine going to anyone else, and I wholeheartedly recommend him! Sidenote: Sometimes office staff can really make or break an office visit experience. I have to say that two people at this office really stand out in particular as consistently being awesome- Sue, his receptionist, and Christa (sp?) are so incredibly friendly and enjoyable to talk to. They've both gone out of their way to help me out on various occasions. I actually look forward to catching up with them when I have an appt. and feel like they really care about the progress of my pregnancy and me! One more thing (as if this isn't long enough!): I like that it's a smaller-ish office and I don't feel like cattle they are just herding through the doors. When I go, everyone recognizes me and calls me by name...not something you usually get with a suburban medical office. Just an added bonus I wanted to mention. Bottom line: If you're looking for an experienced, knowledgable, and super friendly OBGYN- go to Dr. Persino!

I would give him a 10/10 with bedside manner. When I had a few emergency type situations (dehydration and lack of fetal movement) he really did put me at ease, let me come in and we did a sonogram to make sure everything was ok. Because he wasn't panicking, I could calm down. Turned out everything was fine. I would highly recommend him as well as Dr. Wittman to any of my close friends. The staff is always courteous and extremely efficient, and the nurses are sweethearts. I have gone to this office since 2003 and only had to switch because I moved 50 miles away.

He literally saved my…read morelife and has continued to go above and beyond for what has been a very complicated and emotional journey with stage 4 endometriosis and infertility. I first met Dr. Shashoua after a failed embryo transfer that left me septic, internally bleeding, and in critical condition. I was so sick that I didn't fully understand what was happening -- I was truly dying. Dr. Shashoua stepped in with the urgency, skill, and calm confidence that only an exceptional surgeon can bring. He performed the emergency operation that saved my life, and I will forever be grateful. After stabilizing me, he did something that shows how deeply he cares about his patients: he referred me to a far better fertility doctor because he knew I needed more specialized and attentive care than I had previously received. That referral changed everything for my fertility journey. A few months later, he performed my endometriosis excision surgery and removed my tubes. These were major, life-altering procedures, and he approached every decision with precision, empathy, and extraordinary expertise. I now see him regularly to monitor and manage my endometriosis and infertility, and he continues to provide the highest level of care. What sets him apart is how closely he works hand-in-hand with my fertility doctor, ensuring that every aspect of my treatment is coordinated. My case is extremely complex and often overwhelming, but he has never once made me feel like a burden. He treats me with compassion, respect, and true dedication. If you have endometriosis, fertility challenges, pelvic pain, or any complicated gynecologic or urologic condition, Dr. Shashoua is the doctor you want in your corner.
