I made an appointment here. I told them my symptoms, rapid loss of vision, extreme pain and sensitivity to light. When I went in it was mostly fine until I saw the doctor. I had mentioned pain and light sensitivity. He shone a flashlight into my eye and I was struggling against the pain to keep my eye open. The doctor showed a complete lack of bedside manner. He said "Cmon man you need to open your eye!" and became increasingly frustrated. It was physically impossible to keep by eye open normally with the light being shone into it tears were running down my face and all was an impossible blur. After a few seconds he threw his arms up and said "you have a cataract, yup" We then handled exit paperwork. I had a sneaking suspicion Dr. Eghbali botched the exam as he was totally frustrated and unprofessional. So I went to a normal optometrist hole in the wall for second opinion. I was given a priority referral and am now scheduled for my operation. Dr Eghbali's diagnosis was incorrect and wholly irresponsible. His mis-diagnosis could have led to a permanent loss of vision for myself. I was very lucky. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

I'm a disabled vet (100%) and two different doctors at the VA told me that I had a tear in my retina When I asked him about the tear he got very rude and informed me that he saw no tear and kept reminding me that he was a doctor and that he saw no tear so that I shouldn't be questioning him.I was merely asking a question but he choose to be RUDE when he answered me.Every questio I adked was met by a condescending ,rude, and Nasty answer.Uncalled for.I was told twice by VA doctors I needed eye surgery to repair a tien retina.I was told in 2024 by a female doctor and once again this past August of 2025 by a male doctor. When I told him that my eyesight from my right eye was very blurry he just said "You need glasses"I told him that the VA doctor in August of 2025 would not recommend or suggest glasses because after the required surgery my prescription and bidding would change but he did not want to hear that and said "I'm going to make an appointment to see you again in 2026!

I had the worst experience in my life with him. Which I can't call him a doctor, I am more comfortable to call him demon Samimi, not doctor. He entered my life like a devil. My ophtalmologist had me to go to him, since after a hit to my eyes a very small portion of the swelling still existed. I was not planing to do anything, since it was shrinking and almost gone, but this ophtalmologist Dr David Paikal got so persistent for me to go to this supposedly Ocluplastic surgeon to see if anything could be done to remove the very tiny swelling. On my consultation, Samimi immediately said, it's filler and there is an enzyme that can dissolve it. I was happy that it had an easy solution.They scheduled me for the following week for my procedure. When He entered the room, I realized that he was in a very bad mood. I asked him, why he was in bad mood. He said the patient he just saw came with a few family members and asking many questions, which he already had answered those questions. Obviously very impatient doctor, that can easily loose his temper. After finishing the injection. He said he has to get fat from my legs and inject to my eyelids. I was shocked what he was saying, which we haven't discussed about that, and was not part of the plan, and asked him why, he just left the room quickly. When I got home, I saw all my eyelids are so swollen, red and the skin turned dark, which I have a very fair skin. There was also a deep, dark hollow below my eyelids, the tissue were sinked inside and some area were even darker like a hole. I called and talked to his staff Jimmy. Jimmy asked me to take some photos and email them. I told Jimmy obviously he dissolved the fat on my eyelids . At the end of the day this demon Samimi called and was apologetic, was saying he sympathize with me. Apology and sympathy doesn't help me and won't make my eyes to go to the way they used to be. The staff called me a few times to setup appointment for him to see me, of course I wouldn't go back to him after this shitty work. It's almost 40 days after the procedure and I have been trying to set up appointment with a few other Ocluplastic surgeons. They all ask me to take photos and email them, so far they all refused to see me, they just sent me email, saying the doctor can't help me. I believe, they know this case turn to lawsuit and they don't want to be part of the law suit, or witness. Therefore, they don't even want to have a consultation with me. I am so traumatized and frustrated and can't find any other doctor that can help me. I have been suffering a lot b/o this situation. The process for lawsuit we all know is a few years and I can't live this way with what this incompetent, supposedly doctor created on my eyes. To me he is not a doctor, he is a demon The second day after the procedure again this demon called me and left a message, saying we will see each other. Seems like, he knew no other doctor would accept me. And I might forced to go back to him, but over my dead body. Please Never go to this doctor, all he does just damage. To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am submitting this formal complaint/grievance regarding the ongoing delays and lack of adequate care surrounding my cataract removal treatment. My initial referral appointment took place in March 2026. I then returned twice in April 2026 for additional diagnostic testing and to complete required consent forms. Despite complying with all requested appointments and documentation, I was informed on May 6, 2026, by Alicia that there is currently no available building or facility to complete the cataract removal procedure and that approval has not yet been obtained through my insurance. This ongoing delay has become detrimental to my overall quality of life. My vision impairment continues to affect my daily functioning, independence, safety, and emotional well-being. I am deeply concerned that this matter reflects a lack of urgency, empathy, and proper coordination of care. The prolonged postponement of medically necessary treatment feels neglectful and has caused unnecessary stress and suffering. I respectfully request immediate clarification regarding:* The current status of insurance authorization* The expected timeline for surgery approval and scheduling* What actions are being taken to prevent further delays in care I also request that this grievance be formally documented and reviewed by management, patient relations, and any appropriate oversight department. I cannot recommend this practice based on my experience…read more During my last visit, the physician did not perform an eye examination. A technician performed retinal imaging and a vision test and told me there were no changes from my previous visit, when I had been examined by a reputable retina specialist who no longer works at this practice. I was not examined by the physician, Dr. Benjamin, who was on site that day. Afterward, I obtained my medical record and found multiple diagnoses that are incorrect and would require an eye examination to diagnose. The chart also documented symptoms and conditions that I did not have. What alarmed me most was that I was provided with a tear duct scan that did not belong to me. The scan was timestamped after I had already left the office, and the patient's name appeared to be handwritten rather than printed by the imaging system. This raised serious concerns for me about the practice's recordkeeping, patient privacy, and the accuracy of my own medical record. The practice also refuses to produce the native imaging with patient PII embedded in the images.
