Went to service department to get estimate on hatchback door latch and a leak on a Monday. They said they had openings the next day and if I came early they could get to it. Next day I came a little before 8, and they didn't look at car till close to noon. They wanted to charge me $480 for "diagnostic" and $700 for door latch. I told them I did not authorize a $480 charge and to give me back my key. Went on Youtube and saw that changing latch was pretty easy. Took a couple of hours. Got the part for $18 on ebay, so saaved $682. They were rude and condescending. read more

My truck is under recall for emissions! I knew there is a class action lawsuit for this issue on my f450 truck as mine is listed on it with a law firm! I dropped it off to get the recall done ! Picked it up. Before I left the lot I noticed my backup camera was on in drive mode. I stopped and put it in reverse...still. I could not access any of the truck apps...phone/radio/ navigation etc. I immediately backed back to the service bay. Everything worked properly when I dropped the truck off. 9 days later and 4 return trips to the service department i am told I need a module or something replace that will cost 900.00$ !!! It is obvious their tec which was not there today did something and they are not willing to do the ethical thing and own up to causing the problem!!! My worry is because of there lack of ethics and that it is computer issue I could break down on the freeway!!!! read more

This was the worst experience I have had looking to purchase a car. The salesman that "helped" me would only show me ONE car, and tried to pressure me into signing papers within the first fifteen minutes. His shirt was filthy (pretty sure he went out on a lunch date and forgot to wear his bib) AND someone needs to show him what an iron is. My sister in law went along with me and during the test drive, she got stuck in the back. I'm sorry, but I feel like HE should have sat in the back and allowed her to ride shotgun. We had an excellent experience with them on an emergency & complex situation (way too long to write here). Hollie, in parts or management?, went above & beyond. Repair guy, Travis, was nice, skilled, professional, & fast. Interactions with a few miscellaneous staff including a few from sales were super friendly & helpful. Service staff helped immediately (despite how busy it was) to get a loaded horse trailer back on the road again! This experience was the best we've had in a long time working with any business - really didn't know businesses could/would run like this anymore! BTW, had a completely opposite experience (except for nice shuttle guy & gal) with Gresham Ford shortly thereafter (which is a bummer for various reasons including Gresham Ford is MUCH closer to us). If we could give them a zero stars we would. this is the worst communication and customer service ever. we took our Ford in for a recall and they told us there was another recall on the door. When I picked it up they told us that there was an issue with the door but they fixed it when we got home, we realized our door would not lock, and we brought it to their attention in an out four visits later our door, not locking and our passenger window not rolling down which then caused our car to get broken into. Ford would not take ownership in anything they did wrong. The management is horrible. Do not talk to Carlos He's very rude and will not listen to the customer. He made us pay for the parts to fix the door that Ford broke in the recall repair. I will never be back there again and I will continue to go to POWER Honda for all my car repairs. I think everyone in the Ford service deparment needs to go on a field trip to power Honda A lesson on customer service. Shoddy repairs that put my families lives at risk!!! BEWARE!! On november 8th we took our F-150 to roberson for for a new CV axel on the front drivers side under warranty. On november 30th our brakes failed (pedal to the floor). We had the truck towed to power ford in Newport to find out what was going on. The following monday we were told that the brake caliper on the front drivers side fell off while we were driving. Roberson Fords mechanics who did the CV axel didnt get the caliper tightened causing a near accident, risked the lives of my wife,my kids, everyone on the road and a ruined beach weekend, Their service manager had the balls to try and say it was something we did that caused it!! I have tried repeatedly to get in contact with the general manager with no response! We are now seeking legal counsel!! Do not use this dealers service department!!!! BUYER BEWARE GEN 3 5.0 MUSTANG ENGINE FAILURE***** Purchased a 2018 GT Mustang 5.0 in April 2018, in August 2018 less than 1900 miles the engine failed due to internal parts failure (piston slap). This is a know issue across the nation. Ford Motor Company Customer Relations regional manager informed us that due to an Oregon law they are not required to offer a buy back and our options were to replace the engine or not. I would have expected Ford to stand behind their product and do what is right for the customer (lifer Ford owners). Our Mustang was purchased to be an original matching sports car . Very disappointed and we will be really cautious when we need a new diesel pickup. Which is our next purchase. End of last summer, I took car in to have oem issue fixed. I mentioned my car fogs up in the fall/winter with gunk on the windows. I had been told it was heater core. They said it was an AC part and it was 600 to fix. Paid it and a month later during first cool night, condensation is still there. Take it back and was told the issue was rain getting in and its another 500 to fix. So it wasnt the 600 part that you replaced? Last few days i can hear standing water on the floor and in the dash. Just sucked a whole bunch a water out of the floor on both sides and windows still foggy each morning. I knew better but I trusted them. Mistake! Go to Salem or Eugene. read more

Been in to the dealer twice to look at cars, both times pretty underwhelming; staff, building, and selection. First time decided to look at a new Fiesta since the used 2 year old one I offered on was listed for less than $1k than a brand new one. I offered less than they wanted and got declined and it has sat months more. Actually still on their lot months later. My main thing is I want a manual transmission, this dealership avoids them, I was told by the first salesperson I met with that "it was the responsible thing to not sell manuals". He was an older man with very poor teeth. Very poor judgment I feel as there are a lot of people who prefer manual transmissions over automatics. Today I went in to look at a Focus ST, online it is touted as having extensive service records, well for the first 35k of the 70k miles yes it did have service records, the second half of its life not so much. I noticed in pictures that the brake rotor looked fairly rusty which I thought weird for a 4 year old car. Rust of the surface of the rotor wouldn't be that odd, but parts that aren't touched by pads is odd. Went in to see it and all 4 brake rotors were rusted really bad, the parts that don't touch the brakes in the center of the wheel. Also the front right brake caliper was completely rusted, not in spots but the entire lower half of the caliper. Engine cover was missing as well as something else in the engine bay. When I mentioned the cover the young lady helping responded "well it is something that you can buy". Why would I buy stock parts for a car I would be paying top dollar for? This was listed as a clean car and priced as such. I walked away because to me it looked like a water damaged car with missing parts, didn't even take it for a test drive, even though I was very interested in the ST and wanted to drive one. I have friends with older Fords that have no rust, they make this car look like a rust bucket. Car has listed front end damage non accident damage on Carfax, clearly after looking at it, it was water damage and this dealer wants to sell it as a great car that hasn't had an issue, and after it has sat for two months on their lot thinks it is still worth great condition book value. I have no problem if this dealer doesn't want to make deals and move cars, if they want to sit on cars for months and months waiting for a chump to pay more than top dollar, that is fine by me. I have an issue when they try and sell damaged cars as good ones, there is clearly issues with the car on their lot and they are selling it as it is a great car. That on top of the comment that it wasn't responsible to sell manuals. Completely dishonest dealer in my opinion, saddens me this dealer is one of the "big" dealers in Albany, explains why so many recommend going to other cities to get a car. Even coworkers recommended going to Ford in Corvallis rather than going to Roberson. Definitely taking my business elsewhere even if they have another car I might be interested in, cannot trust them at all. read more

I have been to a lot of car dealers and this is just one to avoid. It seems the world isn't bent on customer service, at least here at Roberson it isn't. Here you can here us yelling about how you are wasting our time and don't want to deal with you. Of course if we ask you why you won't come back and you explain, don't worry, we don't care either. Let me just say the first time I came there it was at the end of the day. I called about a 2015 mustang they had and Crystal said come on down. We went for a test drive and then started the fun paperwork part. Granted this is never the easiest part of a car buying experience but I have had better. When she came back with the wonderful paper of numbers I negotiated something I was more comfortable with. When she went back in the office I could here a male voice saying that I was a waste of time, give me a card, send me away. When she came back out I said how oh he must be mad and she shrugged it off as it was someone else he was talking about. I was the only customer there so I am unsure who else he would be yelling about at that exact same moment. We then came to an agreement and I decided I wanted to try and automatic instead of the manual. So we went and got the car and she had to run back inside to get the gas card. She came back out to tell me it was not approved and there was nothing that could be done. Disappointed and upset by the rudeness of someone I never met I left. A year later my information got sent to them about a trade in quote for my current vehicle. I received an email from the internet sales manager who wanted me to call them and come in to get a value on my trade. I told her I appreciated her time but that I would never buy a vehicle or recommend their dealership. She replied asking what had happened and that it looked like I had worked with Crystal. So it was obvious they had a record of our last encounter. I explained to her the same thing I have explained here. Much to their reputation I got no response after that. For a Ford dealer that is one of only two options in my immediate area you would think that they would try harder. Nope, it is apparent that they do not care about leaving a star impression on anyone. If you want to buy a Ford I recommend Skyline Ford in Salem or Hillyers in Stayton. At those places people will at least give you the courtesy and work with you. read more

I have been going to Roberson Ford for a long time, I used the Service Center for all my car repair's. They are not overly priced and are all friendly. I bought a car from them as well. The salesman our great, no pressure sales, they will even stick buy you after the purchase if you need something about your car, the whole company is excellent. If you want friendly service, or a good car without all of the sales hustle and bustle go to Albany Roberson Ford were you will get treated like a customer not a commission number. There is something to be said about good customer service...or in this case LACK thereof! Wow, not sure what just happened or if the guy "Adam" in the service department just naturally has the demeanor of an eggplant. I swung into find out about a safety recall on my vehicle I understood might include my vehicle. When inquired, his reaction to my question came across more like "your an idiot and wasting my time". He goes in to say that it's based on my VIN number (no shit) and then stood there for a second to follow up with "do you have it." I said no and that the vehicle was parked right outside...assuming he'd go and grab it (like any other service department would) yet, walks away and i'm left wondering ummm okay, let me go get that for you while you finish you engage in a conversation with your coworker. Long story short, this followed suit with looking up the VIN and telling me there's no recall for airbags on my vehicle and he didn't know what I was talking about because it wasn't listed on his screen as a recall....yet again leaves me hanging in suspense as to "is that it". The guy lacks customer service skills at a basic level and needs to realize that a smile goes a long way. I came in to check on the possible recall and was going to schedule a service for my vehicle...my decision NOT to schedule the service with this dealership was made easy by Adam the service guy! Robeson ford's service department is horrific. They have no clue what customer service is, the fact that they are in business and represent the ford company in our area is heartbreaking. Mark, one of the service advisors should be fired. He will not call and update you your vehicle, will not tell you what they are repairing. He will only call you to notify you that your vehicle is ready for pickup and how much you owe. I'm paying $$$$$$ for what???? I personally had three line items that need to be addressed. One being preventive maintenance and one being a repair and one being replace a fuse that had burnt out. After having my vehicle for 5 days, they only took care of the two money making lines. I had to go get and replace a fuse myself. It wasn't a big deal by any means, but if you have my truck for 5 days, you should probably do everything that I ask and am paying for. I will never go back, I urge the Albany community to go somewhere else until they get their act together. read more
