This past winter the brake lights would go on by themselves when it got really cold, draining the battery. My old mechanic (a German car specialist in North Bergen) was expensive and could never solve the issues. I called ECP Auto Service and arranged to leave the car overnight. I dropped off the car around 4pm and the place was packed! Despite my car failing almost every diagnostic test, the car was ready around noon the next day. They replaced the brake light switch, reset the tire pressure monitoring system and fixed the rear motion sensors. Frank, the service manager, was very professional and knowledgeable, and drove the car around himself to make sure the car ran properly. Total bill: $126. Now I know why this place is packed. ECP just earned another lifetime customer. Thanks again!

The owner Frank is a very polite person, who always makes time to interact with customers. But he is also a very busy man. Working with his specialized mechanics team, in order for them to operate like a well oiled machine. He listens very carefully to each customer as they explain what mechanical problems they are having with their vehicles. Then I watched him several times in the couple of days while at his shop. Then if necessary he would perform a diagnostics test to locate the exact problem that needed to be fixed. I then watched him and his team of mechanics with a limited but reasonable amount of time, locate the exact problem and make the necessary repairs. I was amazed, because they knew exactly what they were doing and before you knew it the car had been repaired and on its way out of the shop. Every customer was happy and extremely satisfied with the professional work and reasonable price the paid. All his mechanics are every friendly as the video I have presented here will show as my car is on the lift being repaired. You will find "No" better car repair shop than ECP Auto Service. If something can wait, they'll tell you. If something needs attention now, they'll show you why. No pressure, no mystery charges, no unnecessary parts swapping. Nick left the car on the lift specifically so I could take a look under the car and he gladly popped the hood. He was very courteous and understanding. He disclosed anything and everything - I didn't have to question his honesty at all. He is very upfront. He allowed for me to take a test drive around the area and during the test drive he explained all of the details of the car - he also disclosed all of the improvements he had done to the car in the last month to get it ready to be sold. He provided a list as well and documentation as proof. I accepted the offer and Nick was patient enough to wait for me to go and grab a check from the bank. When I came back we had a brief talk about how to transfer the car, get a new registration and plates. This was the smoothest experience I have ever had when it comes to buying a car. Nick makes it simple, and easy. He did this all on his day off - I am so thankful to him. Nick just got a customer. Anytime I have an issue with my car, I will be going to Nick.
