I called Dan and he came out and gave me a price which was much lower than what I received from other contractors. Then he was out the next day and did a great job rebuilding the entire top of the chimney. I wish all contractors were this good. Also, I have to say, looking at the reviews here, I can't help but notice most of the positive reviews are from reliable Yelpers, who've reviewed many other businesses, while these negative reviews are almost all from people who never or nearly never review on Yelp. I can't help but suspect most of these bad reviews are from competitors, trolls, and malcontents. Thus, you should ignore them.

The walkway was redone with grey beacon hill flagstone concrete pavers and a boarder of charcoal concrete pavers. He repaired the brick stairway foundation and refinished it with fieldstone veneer fronts, blue granite treads, and blue mist granite pavers on the landing. To my flower beds, he added Stanstead granite cobblestone edging and retaining wall on the side by my driveway. As a nice finishing touch, he spread loam on the soil along the length of edging and walkway where the lawn had been disrupted, to prep it for us to plant grass seed. Last, but not least, he added a granite step to my shed entrance. It looks beautiful! At every step of the process, Greg was prompt, friendly, patient and informative. He's dedicated to his trade and the job on hand and he's hard-working. As I shared in my first review, he knows his trade exceptionally well, which is reflected in his work. We are so happy with the quality of his workmanship and highly recommend Greg DeLuca and DeLuca Masonry.

(see my review on 8/31/2020 for patio work he did at our previous home) Chris and his wife did most of the work, except one day when he brought another person to help. His finished the job within the timeframe we had given him, and the cost was reasonable. The job included: (1) replacing old pavers with new ones on two of our alleyways on two sides of our house, (2) fixing some large square pavers in an elevated portion of our backyard that a tree's roots had pushed up over the years, (3) constructing a white fence gate that matches our neighbors, (4) taking out old rotting wood fencing from one of our side alleys and constructing a new fence with pressure-treated wood, (5) constructing a gated enclosure / extension of our fenced alley to store trash bins and bicycles of our tenants, and (6) constructing two wooden planters in one of our side alleys next to our house for our herb garden. I am attaching a few pictures - that should speak for themselves. Chris did an excellent job, and I wouldn't hesitate recommending him strongly, and would certainly use him in the future.
