Understanding that the provider was running behind due to a busy waiting room, I waited patiently. At 5:26 PM, once the doctor became available, another patient who had arrived just a few minutes prior was called in ahead of me. When I asked the receptionist for clarification, I was informed that the other patient also had a 5:15 PM appointment. Given that I had been waiting for 23 minutes while the other individual arrived after 5:20 PM, prioritizing them over a patient who arrived early is unacceptable. This experience demonstrated a lack of respect for my time and highlighted significant issues with your scheduling practices and front-desk management. As a result, I will no longer be returning to this practice, nor can I recommend your services to others. I strongly suggest re-evaluating your scheduling procedures and providing additional customer service training for your reception staff. *****Update******** I am writing to address your response to my review, which I feel minimizes what occurred. I booked my September 22nd appointment back on August 27th, so claiming the other patient was prioritized because they booked weeks ahead does not hold up as I did the same when I was last there (8/27, nearly a month in advance). Prioritizing a late arrival over a patient who arrived on time and checked in on time goes against standard scheduling practices in any healthcare practice. It is evident that I was not checked in correctly and was subsequently overlooked by your staff. Additionally, claiming that practice-wide scheduling changes were enacted just a few hours after my YELP review was published is disingenuous. I expect higher standards of transparency and patient care from a professional practice.
