If you remind yourself the pool is mainly for the kids, then it helps the sting of getting to the pool and having no lap lanes available. Having lived in multiple states and having swum at many pools, always having a set number of lanes open to the public is one way to get around that. But they try very hard to be accommodating. To the reviewers of the front desk: Monica and the rest of the staff are actually very nice. My first 1-2 visits were cordial, but after just a few visits you'll realize they are very nice and caring. Plus everyone has a bad day. The pool manager and lifeguards are also very kind. To the mother who's kids were cold: the pool is kept in the low 80's. I used to teach swim lessons and many children shiver. So they just must keep moving. A pool warmer than the low 80's is too hot for competitive swimming, which is what this pool is designed for. You might search out a pool that works with folks with medical problems or a pool designed only for giving lessons. Those pools are kept around 90 degrees. It's also a myth that you can catch a cold from being cold. So most likely your kids were already sick when they got to the pool.

The lifeguards had flotation devices in their hands while on break, and one lifeguard in particular was splashing around and playing with the flotation device. Given the setting and the responsibilities of lifeguards, I found this behavior concerning. What was even more disappointing was the response when I reported my concerns. I expected the situation to be taken seriously and reviewed from a safety perspective. Instead, the response I received left me feeling that my concerns were being minimized rather than addressed. I understand that lifeguards are young people and deserve a break, but when you are responsible for the safety of patrons at an aquatic facility, professionalism and situational awareness should remain a priority--even during breaks. I am not writing this review to attack individual employees. My concern is about safety, accountability, and how customer concerns are handled. I hope the Euless Aquatic Center and the City of Euless will take concerns like this seriously and ensure that lifeguards are held to appropriate safety standards at all times. Overall: Disappointing experience. I expected better attention to safety and a more serious response to a legitimate concern.

The biggest and only con to this waterpark are the majority of the female lifeguards. They are power tripping teenagers that will blow their whistle on any little thing once they find someone they don't like. Yet they will let their friends rough house and run and be in the kid area inappropriately. Specifically the female lifeguards that were on duty in the children's area or a big problem with big attitudes, the one sitting in the kids area by the lazy river with the longer hair picked on every single thing, including me trying to get my son who was nervous and scared in the lazy river out of the lazy river. She tried to tell me we had to go all the way around while he was freaking out, and I had another child in the play area. It's unfortunate these power tripping teenagers can ruin such a nice time. Otherwise, the facilities are perfect. I included a picture of us at the park. She kept looking at me even though we've done nothing wrong and it's honestly really bothersome. She literally let two kids run by real fast and jump when they weren't supposed to and she looked right at me and smirked. She left her post at 1:18. Again this facility is wonderful. I would give it five stars but because of lifeguards it gets less.

We have now taken our youngest child twice. The instructors barely worked with anyone individually and just read from a sheet of paper. Pretty much 30 mins of do whatever you want. They have now changed their cancellation policy which makes you give 30 days notice so you have to pay for an extra month even though you have no desire to go again. They also changed their make up class policy which makes it way more difficult to do make up classes. Obviously these changes are to hold on a little bit longer before the doors close. They recently had to cancel class due to unsafe chlorine levels which is understandable however instead of having a text system notify parents, they sent an email 13 minutes prior to class start time. I was told by the desk that a text message SHOULD go out but it's broken. I've been trying to contact the manager unsuccessfully to see what steps are being taken to correct this to make it easier for families. I will say that the location is great and the instructors are very kind and well trained.

From the design process with Greg, to the material selection with Fiorella, the actual crazy redo with Anthony and the finish work with AJ, we are extremely pleased and so glad we went with Watercrest! Terrible customer service!!! Our pool was leaking--losing enough water such that we had to add it…read moreevery day. We called to ask for an inspection during the warranty period, but we're told that they were too busy to send anyone out; they instead asked us to perform a "bucket test", which we did. The bucket test confirmed that the pool was losing water. We called them again and reported the results of the test. They dispatched a crew--a subcontractor--who came out and conducted a pressure test. While the pressure test didn't find a structural leak, they did find a significant leak from the backwash jandy, which one of their technicians must have left partially open. They then sent me a $500 invoice for the pressure test saying that because they didn't find a structural leak, I was responsible for the inspections, which is preposterous. As an aside, it took them 8 months to install the pool after quoting a 3 month timeline. They cut all kinds of corners and the City shut them down midstream as a result. Everything about this company is terrible. Of all the things that they do badly, though, their customer service is the worst.

In addition, the Roanoke recreation center lacks sanitation wipes. I'm not joking, the wipes have been empty for weeks. When you tell the kids in the front, the two boys, they just nod and go s as bout their ways. I mean, in the midst of Covid , nothing is readily available, at this center. You can't wipe anything down. The sweats on the machines snd equipment just sit on the equipment until the next person becomes a victim of catching a case. Furthermore, the place is kept without air conditioning. You could have a stroke trying to workout- in their modest gym- with a few machine operating. So good luck with your workout. This place is nasty , not kept clean. Their bathrooms and facility - in an overall demeanor, is dirty, not attended to and some of their toilets are unflushable. It's too bad they have teenagers, who are busy on their cell phone, basically, running this place down. I'm very glad I did! My boys are no longer anxious but they look forward to coming and have progressed a lot. They've LOVED every single teacher/coach (Josh, Xavier, Selma and now Daniel!) that they've had! Their time here has been valuable and irreplaceable! Their…read morebusiness model seems to be to bring your kids along as slowly as possible in order to maximize the money you put in. The fact they have a buy 10 months, get 2 free option is insane. In no world does it take 50-100 lessons (assuming 1-2 times per week) to learn to swim. They had my daughter stuck on level 3 of 8 for 13 or 14 lessons, which is a level that is more about becoming comfortable in/under the water and exposes them to hardly any actual swimming technique. It's a necessary step no doubt, but to string us along for 7 weeks in pool purgatory reeks of a cash grab. They will claim your child isn't hitting certain ambiguous benchmarks that are required in their system to advance, but these barometers are often ticky tack, non essential and/or are hard to quantify day to day. Many times they are things that get better with experience and exposure that is very limited or impossible in a 30 min class setting. If these criterion are to be taken seriously, the onus falls on the coach to get the kids to the next level with a reasonable sense of urgency which doesn't exist here. At the end of the day, if you're training, teaching or coaching someone and you claim they aren't meeting the mark that either you've created or exists naturally, then the failure of that student is on you. This basic level of accountability is not apparent at Aqua Tots. It's easier and more lucrative to tell what they need to work on or what they're doing wrong and charge you for another set of sessions than to get to the root cause to fix the supposed issue or to hide behind some obscure "standard" so you can keep students from progressing when they're clearly ready. After my twin 4 year olds and 7 year old completed the initial 8 lessons we bought, they obviously needed more. However, we could only afford to get my 7 y/o another 8 lessons. So due to convenience, familiarity, and an apparent misplaced hope that the school would do better, we continued. Much to our dismay, the aforementioned drawbacks continued as well. Bottom line, this swim school operates as a subscription based business. Swim lessons aren't cheap anywhere, so I recommend all who read this to spend that money with another swim school whose priority is endowing your child with the lasting life skill of swim, instead of how many lessons they can squeeze out of you.
