I only had two sets left, mind you, and my sweater was on machine, I was getting ready to sit in it and use it, and the employee starts unracking my weights. I said "excuse me, I am using this and he said well we are moving it"! Never ever would this happen at 24 hour fitness or any other commercial big or small private gym. They know how to put their patrons first at those other places. IF he actually was taught to put members first, he would've let me finish the extra three minutes it would have taken me to complete my sets... never going back here. Or they could've put a sign to not use machine, like all other gyms in the world do. I have been a personal trainer all my life and never have I witnessed anything like what happened to me here today. If you're serious about your workouts and your time in the gym, don't bother with this incompetent staff that doesn't know how to put paying members first. What I experienced today is like eating at a restaurant and while you're in the middle of taking a bite of your half eaten burger, the waiter comes to your table and grabs your plate with your fries from underneath you. Who does that? LOL. But that is not the worst of it.. after the manager talks to me, the rude employee that kicked me off my machine (older man) comes over to where I am and rolls his eyes and tells me "get over it"!!! I've never been spoken to so poorly by a grown man. Shame on him for speaking to a lady that way. Zero respect, zero common sense, zero gym etiquette or know how. These people are running a joke of an establishment and their employees know nothing about serious training or why people actually go to the gym and yet they work at a gym. MARS is horrible and we, along with MANY other swimmers, left and went to other swim teams in the area (specifically NTN swim). (See my review of MARS Swim team) The owner of MARS, Bryan, did not seem the least bit interested in hearing my concerns about coaches not paying attention to swimmers, being on their phones, swimmers not learning technique, high coach turnover (3 coaches in 6 mos) etc. He was only concerned with us paying 30 days additional in fees once we gave notice to leave. So glad to be with our new team and my swimmer is thriving and getting A & BB times now!! At every meet, I see new MARS coaches (with their cell phones in hand). Fortunately, our team has experienced coaches that have remained the same and I've never seen them on their phones when they are on the swim deck, at practice or meets.

We have installed a pool before, so we have a good understanding of what to expect during the…read moreprocess. Initially, we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly Emerald Waters Pool completed our pool installation. Unfortunately, we soon realized the speed came at the expense of doing the job correctly. The biggest issue was that the required city inspections were never completed before construction moved forward. Will advanced the project all the way to the final inspection, where the city rejected the entire project. We then spent approximately two and a half months waiting for everything to be corrected and approved before we could finally move forward with the plaster. Even after receiving city approval, the problems continued. The site had not been properly prepared before the plaster was applied, resulting in it having to be installed twice. Then, just three weeks after installation, the color began fading, which was clearly not normal. We contacted Will about the issue but never received a response. We also discovered that the waterfall was installed off-center, another quality control issue that should have been caught during construction. In addition to the pool, we hired Emerald Waters Pool to install a patio and walkway. The workmanship was disappointing. The pavers was neither straight nor level without constant supervision, and we had to insist that sections be redone because they were not installed correctly. To make matters worse, some of the additional work we paid for was never completed. It is also worth noting that the work performed outside of the pool installation was never covered by a written contract, which appeared to avoid documenting that portion of the project. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Emerald. Between the missed inspections, poor workmanship, lack of communication, and incomplete work, the project became far more stressful and time-consuming than it should have been. We strongly encourage anyone considering this company to continue their search for a builder that prioritizes quality, communication, and accountability.
