I have been very pleased with the lessons my children have received at this location. Most recently, we put our daughter in a two-week class so that she'd be able to pass her swim test at a summer camp that she was going to attend after school let out. Her teacher was awesome and our daughter did great and passed her test. (This was the first time she passed the test in three years of attending the week-long summer camp.) Also, we put our 3 yo in a two-week class. He was terrified of putting his face in the water. His teacher made great progress and he was no longer terrified. He still wasn't able to pass to the next class, so we immediately enrolled him in another two-week class so we wouldn't lose any momentum he already gained. The classes were all booked for the times that he could attend, so they opened a new class. He is almost finished with this class and he is putting his whole body under water and learning his strokes. My son started lessons at AquaKids in Keller when he was approx 3 years old. He is now 8, and I am still a big fan. The water is warm, which was very important for us! How can you learn if you are shivering (that's what we experienced at another swim school)? The instructors are VERY good with children-- very encouraging and very patient. I know another reviewer didn't like that many instructors are college kids, but I don't see that as a negative at ALL. All I care about is: my child's safety is priority one, my child is advancing at a good pace, the instructors are patient and knowledgeable, and I am kept informed of his progress. It's a bonus that you get one free make-up, 'cause life does sometimes get in the way and you have to miss a class. Honestly, I recommend AquaKids to everyone who asks me! read more

I drive from south Fort Worth to Keller every week for my children's swim lessons. YEP! Children! My son has been going every year for the last two years. He is five. My daughter started last year. Two weeks ago my daughter started her first independent lesson. She is three years old. I will use my daughter's words to express how we feel about AquaKids. "My teacher is cool!" "I love going to my swim lessons!" "I can do kickers like this and blow bubbles in the water!" Birthday parties are GREAT! For my son's four year old birthday, we had a party at AquaKids in the middle of NOVEMBER!!! My son and family had a blast! Instructor to student ratio is small. Instructors are very knowledgeable. Our experience with our 6 year last year was wonderful. She learned what they had outlined for the class. This year as a 7 yr old, she loved the class and learned even more and can swim! It is pricey but small class size, individual attention, and really working the whole time on what is being taught rather than splashing in the pool on the side is so worth it to us! We found that the every-day-camp for two weeks was excellent! The progression of classes after/when/if a student can swim across the pool seems a little slow, but I will just ask for her to try for a higher class when we go back. In other words, the class that they promoted her to seems not to fit what she can do in the water. They are easy to work with so I'll just speak up! read more

We take our grandson to Aqua kids because it is important to us that he be comfortable in the water. We started in the class with babies and parents. He was almost three when we started and I wish we had started sooner. He is now in the 3-1 class and loves it! My only concern is that because he was in the earlier class, he is ahead of the other 3 children in his class. I requested that they consider moving him to the 3-2 class but they are reluctant to do that because he has not totally mastered the skills needed to do. I respect them for requiring him to be ready before he moves up and for not giving in to a demanding grandparent...LOL. It is expensive but the quality is so much better than that offered at the local YMCA. read more

AquaKids is wonderful! My 5 year old son has taken lessons for a year now. He has had several instructors. ALL of them have been fabulous, patient, kind and eager to teach my son to swim. My son fell in our neighbors pool a few weeks ago while the family was over BBQ'ing and he was able to get to the side and help himself out of the pool with no panic whatsoever! My 3 year old daughter is now also taking lessons and does not share the same enthusiasm for swimming as my son. We have been with Aquakids for 3 or 4 years (they run together). We started when my now 10 year old was about 6. I've had two children go through the Aquasteps program and each instructor has been a wonderful teacher for my kids. The staff has always been courteous and friendly. We've had two birthday parties here, as well as attended other parties and the value for the money spent beats any other location! The kids always have a blast. My daughter is now 7 years old and has been swimming here since she was 2 years old. She loves it here. The swim coaches are all polite and know what they are teaching. The front desk crew are very helpful when placing in the level that she needs to be in. They will try to cater to your needs as much as they can. So far they have catered to all of our needs as I work and they have their schedules to cater to everyone working or not. Looking forward to putting my daughter in the swim team when she feels confident enough with herself. Great place and great people, cant get any better than that. read more

This is a great place to take your kids to swim. It may be pricier than your normal swim lessons. But once you realize that you are getting quality teaching and small classes I think that it is worth it. Also once you do the math for each class it is only $19 dollars a class. Which is not bad at all. The birthday parties here are a real steal. You get 20 kids and the whole facility to your self for only $175 bucks and if you have more than 20 kids it is just an extra 5 dollars a kid and you don't have to pay for the extra kids until the end of the party. My daughter has taken 3 sessions of lessons at Aqua Kids, and I have been so impressed with her progress. The instructors are effective and fun. My daughter just turned 4 and can now swim without any type of flotation aid. I feel totally confident in her abilities. They also did a great job with my 1.5 year old son, getting him comfortable with the water and even kicking some across the pool. My only wish is that they would do an exercise with the older kids where they are pushed into the pool with their clothes and shoes on to see how they would swim. read more

Both of my boys have loved Aquakids. My eldest is 5 and is a fish and my youngest is 2 and is turning into a little fish himself. The environment is fun and inviting and my boys love to attend class. They give you easy and simple pointers to help make first time swimmers comfortable in the water. They use songs, toys, slides and other fun equipment and the staff have all been great. My kids have both left with huge smiles on their faces each time we go. We go currently and will continue to go in the future. read more

I think Aqua kids is wonderful! My girls have gone there the past 3yrs & they have gained so much confidence & skills swimming on their own. The 2week camp is really fast paced & the more advance they are the harder it is for them to maintain their endurance. I would recommend if they're intermediate or higher levels to maybe do the once a week camp & was told also by one of the swim instructors as well on what a challenge it can be to cram so much into such a short period of time. read more

My daughter had her birthday party at Aquakids in Keller. We loved the idea of having the whole swimming pool for her and her friends, the reasonable pricing, the size of the party room and clean facilities. The only reasons I didn't rate it 5 Stars are because they don't provide help with serving food or cake and the lifeguards are very inexpressive, like if they are way too tired of working that they don't even look at you or smile. read more

My two kids, Lucas and Sarah, have been going to Aqua kids for over a year and they have become good swimmers. In the beginning, I didn't know if they would retain what they have learned, since they were only attending swimming lessons once a week. But they have made progress, even though they go only once a week. We take lessons all year and it has made them healthier too. They don't get as sick as they used to. read more

We highly recommend AquaKids! After a swimming accident our small son was terrified to put his face in the water, he cried and cried at every lesson. The coaches were so patient and kind during his lessons. They really helped relax him and now he is swimming 3/4 of the width of the pool and going down the big slide! My two oldest kids are taking lessons during a two week camp this summer. On the first day, my 4 year old (younger of the two) was very anxious and nervous. His teacher and her helper were absolutely professional in getting him in the water and making him feel comfortable by singing songs as they worked with him. My middle kid, a 4yr old, had a near drowning experience. Because of the muscle memory work and skills she learns here (primarily with instructor Taylor C), she's okay . She was able to actively keep her head above water in a wave pool until she was rescued. Forever thankful for the work Aquakids Keller does. I have been going to Aquakids, since my oldest son now 12yrs, was 3yrs that's were he learn how to swim now that i have a 2nd child 4yrs old that is the place we choose to take her to learn how to swim. My 2 kids are taking swim lessons at Aqua Kids in Keller for over a year now. My son used to be afraid of putting his face in the water, but now he loves it. The instructors are nice and patient. The staff are friendly too. Love the waiting area with glass wall so you can watch your kids swim. They also have toys for kids who are in the waiting area. read more
