The name has been changed to Three tides Caribbean restaurant!…read more I went last Thursday after reading the Very racist review from someone over 7 months ago. Claiming it was closed and that it was tacky (i know it's their opinion and some opinions are tailored to a group more than just giving good old fashion tips and objective observations .) The place looks like a tiki resort/bar. In my opinion, I liked it! They were able to make me a very delicious mocktail. I happen to go when they were doing inappropriate karaoke (which is a very fun loving group of people there every week with an amazing host and piaaannooooo man) The menu was priced nicely And the portion was big. I had enough to last me the next day. I order my absolute fav item (legume diri blan and sous pwa iykyk) it came with pikliz and Bannun. The rice was perfect. The legume was well seasons and plenty BEEF in it. Not SHESSSSSHHH at all. The pikliz was FYYYYAAHHHH it was the perfect level of spicy (not for moun blan who can't eat black pepper, it will clean your colons. lol) . Everything was perfection. I can't wait to go again next week Wednesday bc i heard they do line dancing. So if you're up for an adventure try it out. So far it's the best Haitian food spot in PSL in my books!!!

Authentic amazing Jamaican food at jerk city. We went 3…read moretimes, it's was that good. They had me at oxtail, juicy, soft, chewy cartilage, melting fat, delish sauce; served over rice and beans along with steamed veggies. They even play Jamaican music in the dining room. We also tried jerk chicken (spicy! Very tasty), curry goat (delish), stew chicken (was ok) and steamed fish. Fish was Red snapper whole, in light sauce. Very juicy and full of flavor, family approved them all. Best to get the beef patties while you can, it was hot spicy and delish. Good value for the food, and I certainly can't get the taste right. The staff recognized us, only Asians, everyone else is Jamaican. Support your small businesses.

I would say the food is decent and felt hearty like I was eating home cooking. I enjoyed the steamed cabbage with rice and peas very much. The jerk chicken was surprising not that spicy to me, a pretty mild kick. The sweet plaintains mixed perfect with the plate. My Hubs and I shared a large plate for 2 dollars extra you can mix two different meats so he got the curry goat. I tasted a bite and reminded me a lot of meat stew. I'm only giving 3 stars because I was hoping for a higher spice in the chicken (not that it was bad) just ny tolerance must have went up or maybe it's something you need to request. Anyway, that's my fair review.

Had an amazing time Dining here!! We ordered 2 doubles (mild…read moreand spicy), boneless chicken w/ roti purie, Chana & potatoes AND beef stew with dhal and rice. If you can't take any heat the double is sweet and mild is a good place to start but the spicy one is where it's at. It has amazing heat and flavor (about a 3/5 if you are someone who can enjoy some scotch bonnet pepper) the boneless chicken was tender and juicy. The roti was perfectly prepped, nice and hot. The accidentally prepared me the bone in, which i think was dark meat and more of what i prefer, but the bones were too small for me to fight through and so glad they didn't mind fixing me a plate of boneless without any issues. The beef stew was my absolute fav. The flavor was delicious and it was very tender. The rice and sauce was seasoned very well and came with a side salad. The price is the best part. We order two drinks mango and hibiscus juice and they were also delicious. (The hibiscus juice had a hint of ginger in it that some could mistake for a spicy taste) Everything was amazing! Got to talking to the owners son, Kind folks that moved down from NY an about 3 years ago to bring some original love and relaxation to the neighborhood. The soca music was a vibe too. Very homey spot. I was recommended by a fellow Vet friend they seem to know very well and thankful for their amazing hospitality. Will definitely will be coming again many more times to try everything new. I was so excited to see they had pholorie but been craving Linda's eggball (i know it's Guyanese dish) I'm hoping one day i can have them make it for me one day bc i can't seem to find it anywhere else. The son said if someone ever possibly wanted catering for it to be done they would possibly try to do so, which would be amazing!!! Or maybe I'll just order some phorlorie and make my own eggs at home? I'll try them out next visit
