I hadn't been to this place in like 3 years. I used to live in Stuart so I would visit all the time. Me and the owner used to go to the same gym and he was also my barber. We got in a little late so all that was left was brown stew chicken and fish. It was so good! I also had a pineapple ginger beer which I can never find anywhere else. Aww man. So I'm from Miami and happened to be in Stuart just a couple of days ago. I saw the Jamaican flag from my peripheral and noticed this spot. I also happened to be hungry and figured I would try them out, especially after seeing their 4.4 rating on Google maps. I was a bit apprehensive because I wasn't sure what to expect since I was in an unfamiliar town but boy when I tell you, I was not disappointed at all. And as a fellow Jamaican, I know what good Jamaican food tastes like. And this right here, is amazing Jamaican food. The brown stew chicken was so delicious and sweet. It tasted just like home if not better. I regret not showing pictures, but please believe the whole plate was gone by the end of the day. Even going in for seconds and thirds, it tasted just as good each time. The only other regret I have is that they're not in Miami. :) If I ever end up in Stuart again, I will definitely be ordering from them again. The lady in the front was also very nice. read more

Both were very flavorful with a nice island flavor. $3 beers? Yes, please! The curry had a nice kick, but the jerk (though nicely balanced) could have been a bit spicier to my taste. Would've been five-stars, but I think they were a little light on the protein and heavy on the rice. Inexpensive, but I'd happily pay a couple more bucks for a little more chicken. This place is a hidden gem in Stuart! I was visiting Stuart and I had a craving for Jamaican food and stumbled upon Classic Jamaican Jerk Shop. When I walked up to the restaurant I saw the jerk pan outside and knew the food was going to be great. As a fellow Jamaican it's rare when you find a place with authentic jerk chicken. I had the ackee and saltfish for breakfast which was very tasty alongside an order of jerk chicken. Honestly the best jerk chicken I have had in the US!! I absolutely LOVE this place. The food is always top notch. Fresh. Piping hot. SO flavorful. The meat just falls off the bones. I love both the rice w/ peas and the white rice. I love the little salad it comes with too. I didnt think I'd like it because its cabbage and I HATE cabbage. But they even managed to make that perfect! I always order it with extra jerk sauce and they always load it on for me, no questions asked. The staff is wonderful. They are always busy but also always consistent. Started off with a beef patty and a icy cold Red Stripe to get the feel of this spartan decorated authentic Jamaican spot. The pastry on the patty was deliciously flaky. Needed a little hot sauce for my personal desire for heat, but the patty was delicious. The beer was spot on. Since I wanted to taste as much as possible they were kind enough to prep a Chicken Sampler. It's not a menu offering but they will gladly make it for you. Jerk Chicken, Curry Chicken and Brown Stewed Chicken spread on top of an enormous mound of rice and peas. And for a veggie there was the cooked cabbage with shredded carrots and diced pieces of zucchini. Fabulous meal. My favorite was the stewed chicken. And I packed up a to go container that provided a dinner for my wife when she got off work last night. My wife's favorite was the curry chicken. The large chicken dinner even provided some leftovers for breakfast. The giant smoker behind the restaurant produces a delicately strong smoky taste to the jerk chicken. This is definitely a place to stop for excellent Jamaican food. I'm looking forward to trying their Curry Goat and BBQ Ribs. It was so good I might have to go back today. read more
