There were no pickup instructions, driver information, or contact information included. By the time I arrived at the airport, I still had not received any communication from the company, so I had to Google IBoston Limo myself just to find a phone number. I called twice and spent about 20 minutes wandering around the airport trying to figure out where I was supposed to meet my driver. When I finally reached someone, instead of helping resolve the situation, he immediately became argumentative and yelled at me, insisting that he had texted me. I explained that I had not received any text and had been checking my phone constantly, including while I was on the plane. He continued to argue with me, hung up, and then sent me a screenshot showing that he had supposedly texted me. Whether there was a technical issue with the text or something else went wrong, arguing with a customer who is stranded at an airport and cannot find their driver is an incredibly unprofessional way to handle the situation. A simple apology and clear instructions on where to meet the driver would have resolved the issue immediately. Instead, the interaction made an already stressful situation significantly worse. Once I finally found my driver, he was lovely, courteous, and professional. Unfortunately, everything leading up to that point, from the lack of pickup information and communication to the way I was treated when I called for help, was unacceptable. My friends and I (five of us in all) needed to get to and from Black Fan Pier in Boston for our…read morecruise on June 1st, and back home from there on June 8th, with a large amount of luggage. After searching from February through April 2018 and finding one place after another with ridiculous price structures, or not the right sized vehicle, we finally found Boston Town Car. A regular limo would not have had room enough for us and luggage, so we knew we needed a larger vehicle and Boston Town Car had just what we needed. Impressed is an understatement. Our first driver impressed us so much, that I requested him to be our driver for our return trip a week later. Unfortunately, that email didn't reach the company since I sent it from the cruise ship and it didn't get through the system. It didn't really matter, because our second driver was great too, just not quite as great as our first one! Both assisted loading and unloading our luggage and both were friendly and quite professional! Their fee was by far much better than any other car service we contacted, and their vehicles were all in great condition and very clean as well. The first one was an 18 (or so) passenger "minibus" with plenty of room for us, and the dozen or so bags we had. He was right on time and was one of the most friendly people I've come across in any service industry. Upon our return from vacation, our second driver arrived at the waiting area for car services shortly after the ship docked and well before we disembarked the ship; I was able to text him and let him know when we would be outside and he came right around. This vehicle was a really nice and large SUV. We were not surprised with any last minute upcharges and no tip was added to our bill; we paid both drivers directly with cash. Their standard rates do not include tip, which we verified with them ahead of time. I have to comment on the fact that I just read their previous horrid reviews and I must say I'm baffled by them, as we experienced nothing but great service from them. The previous reviews here are all two or more year old, so either the Company has greatly improved since then, or something else is amiss with them. Whatever the case, we definitely will use them again and highly recommend them.
