Breakfast = pretty good, not recommended for other meals. Our most recent experience here was disappointing. My wife and I both ordered chicken club sandwiches. The sandwiches were dry and the chicken was two pieces of chicken tenders. My wife sampled my daughter's spaghetti and said that it was good. Her hot chocolate was subpar. The restaurant was clean, but the service was slow. Their breakfast offerings have been good every time that I've been there. I would recommend for breakfast, but not for other meals. I have been coming here for 20 years, and while the food and atmosphere will never win any awards, it was good for a diner. Today, I can honestly say it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. When we went in, we looked at the "Easter" buffet and was very disappointed. Every single item was dried out and quite frankly was sparse in variety. We sat ourselves and waited... And waited... And waited.... There wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. We couldn't figure out why we were waiting. Finally, this woman came and said "Buffet or menu?" I said menus please. Then sheet said "Drink?" This woman seemed to be unable to speak a full sentence. After 10 minutes, she came back with our sodas. We ordered appetizers and meals, and she left. We kept waiting... She didn't come back. I ended up getting up and refilling our own sodas. After 15 minutes she brought out food and 1 out of the three meals was correct. When asked to fix the mistake Leah the waitress said "It's a simple mistake anyone could have done it!" When she came back with the fixed item, I pointed out that we had not yet received the cheesesticks that were ordered, and in one of the rudest voices I have heard come from a waitress, she said "You'll get them when I bring them out." My meal, a restaurant standard, was an open faced roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes. There were 2 pieces of meat that were as thin as the dried beef that comes in glass jars. I paid almost 10 dollars for 2 slices of bread gravy, and 2 translucent pieces of roast beef. We kept seeing her and the other waitresses go and smoke cigs every 5 minutes. That was frustrating while we were waiting for sodas to be refilled. I ended up filling them for us. She never once asked how our food was, never if she could do anything for us, just "One or three?" We asked "One or three what?" She then said "CHECKS!" Andy was polite and said "One please." We left being so disgusted with the food and most importantly the service. Service can make poor food be overlooked. When you have mediocre food with wretched service, it makes a holiday meal pretty bad. read more

Just had dinner there. There isn't many ways to screw up a simple breakfast plate but they did a masterful job. From forgetting the eggs to serving spoiled meat this is a meal I won't forget. Unfortunately my husband and I were stuck in the kwaint little town called Kylertown,Pa for 15 days. The first night we ate there I was seeing homemade food ,in which as truckers you see few of. After placing order I knew when ordering water with lemon and being served dried up lemons I needed to calm .As my nationality is creole, Italian and Indian I ordered the spaghetti.ok. 1) please stock up on your seasonings aka onion and garlic powder. Oregeno, Italian seasoning and rosemary. And tyhme. Spaghetti is served with spaghetti noodles not whatever that was. No I didn't eat it! I did sample the garlic bread,drenched in butter on Texas toast. I went to the " soup and salad bar" brown tipped lettuce . End of day I thought. Nope cabbage soup I ate was hot but I was sick for the next two days. If you're unlucky and have to stop there DO NOT GO THERE. Bravery and tastelessness is what you will receive. The service here was awful. Two tables came after we did, but ate and left before we even got our food. My fiancé waited 15 minutes for coffee before finally having to go to the counter and ask for a refill. My egg had a hair baked into it and our waitress was carrying a baby around most of the time, including into the kitchen. We have been here before and there was kids running around before as well as if it was a daycare. We won't be going back here again. I'd rather drive a little farther away and get better service and food. read more

The food was awful got a steak salad and it was undercooked. The waitress who I found out was the assistant manager later. Took forever to get us our drinks. Never told us her name. She seemed more interested in her cellphone and smoking cigarettes to care about us never refilled out drinks once. She was very rude and acted like she knew everything. Very unprofessional. I have never written a review before. I had the sunday dinner buffet there yesterday. It was the worst meal of my entire life. The meatloaf was visibly raw in the inside, the ham was dried up to such a point that it was completely dehydrated and as hard as the plate itself. I was unable to cut the ham, but did not want to actually eat it anyway. I managed to break off a small piece and it was terrible. The perogies on the buffet were completely dried up as well. They no longer contained any potato filling and you could not chew the dough. The dough was actually crispy. I have never complained about mashed potatoes before. I mean how can you actually screw them up? Well, these mashed potatoes had crusty particles throughout which seemed like someone reheated them in a frying pan and burned them into a crusty mess and served them on the buffet after they were made for other meals several days before. When I went to pay at the register, I told the waitress/cashier that I did not want to be rude but my meal was awful. She said that she did not make the buffet and she told me to just go and not pay as if she had heard that from all of the patrons for the entire day. The meal was not even worth free.
