We are five women who stopped there to have a drink before a nice dinner! There was live music. He was fantastic. The bartender was kind courteous, and made great drinks.

I love this place. Best atmosphere ever. Biker bar. Cool place to hang out. Nice people friends you haven't met yet.

I've visited this establishment a couple of times as I liked the bartenders that work there during the day. Honestly I'm writing this review because I felt comfortable here. I showed up one evening after possibly being drugged by a man I had just met or even had just been over served looking for a safe place to go. I had a mental lapse... instead of helping me they trespassed me knowing I wasn't able to leave. I then was drug out by my wrist by a drunk man I just met causing substantial bruising. I didn't want to be forced to leave with someone I did not know. They allowed this... I defended myself and then was arrested. I then was taken to jail for fighting. I was further abused in jail, because of false charges brought against me to get me off the property. I was released the next morning and I'm sure the charges will be dropped. Alicia Vasic is the employee that would rather put women in danger than actually help them. I came here because the day employees made me feel comfortable here. I will not have that misconception about this place ever again. On a side note the restaurant is completely dirty. The food is not worth the price. The tacos tasted decent, but were dry. The saving grace for this place is cheap drinks, two decent bartenders, and the fact there's little competition in the area.

Sliders...good, but nothing to write home to mamma for.

While walking to the various bars in Cave Creek AZ, stopped by for a brew and sliders. This place has an insane amount of beer on tap, that mat he a downfall. First, 8 ordered a bid "heavy" which is a regular Budweiser, red label. It had turned and wasn't any good. So 8 switch Ed to a popular"Coors light". Not any better. I assume, if it isn't in a bottle at this place, avoid. Sliders, they were okay. But, with all of the options available in Cave Creek AZ, I'd love on. A three star place in its best form.

Went for drinks and the crowd and staff are great. The food smells amazing. Love the patio and saw a dog so assuming it's dog friendly.

Cool bikers bar to hang out and eat and drink, they have happy hour from 3-6pm and nightly specials from 6-10pm. Didn't know that the owner was talking to us and my boyfriend ended up getting a free shirt.

Enjoys this place : went for the music. Didn't try any food but the atmosphere is very friendly. Great time and not a local scene at all . drinks are good and service is great. Didn't have the food but I'm sure it's fine. There are two places for performances one outside when I'm inside mostly for bikers but all are welcome.

I was visiting Arizona from Oregon and my best friend insisted that I needed to see the Roadhouse since she knows I love funky decor and biker bars. We went on a Monday afternoon in October during the pandemic. Compliant with state law we donned our masks and proceeded to have an afternoon drink. As we were looking for a table a lady came out to chew on us for walking around while looking for a table OUTSIDE. It went down from there. My girlfriend asked if they had Pinot Gris and the waitress said "Oh God no, we have beer ... this is a biker bar". My girlfriend's husband asked if they had a cadillac margarita and the waitress said in a derogatory way that they do not have blended drinks. Honestly, prior to walking in the empty bar we were in a super good mood. After making contact with the bar staff our moods were quickly torpedoed. We are troopers so we forged on and ordered margaritas on the rocks. The drinks took at least 15 minutes to get. While sitting I decided to walk around (with my mask) and take a few pictures. They may not have been able to get a drink in a reasonable time frame but were more than capable of quickly scolding me for standing up. At this point the mistake of walking in the bar was starting to sink in. We talked to the only people near us and they said they had been waiting for 45 minutes for a hotdog. The lady stood up to go ask for a status of the hotdog and amazingly the wait staff instantly came out to reprimand her for standing up. My takeaway is that the place may be cute but you won't be able to see it, the service is slow and the wait staff are beyond rude. On a up note, the bar across the street actually had lots of customers many of which appeared to be bikers. I would recommend it.

The newer addition to the hideaway, this bikers paradise is called the roadhouse where they have live bands and a full kitchen. Along with the Hideway, we always make it a must stop for me, my lady, and boys to all get together when we go riding. It's again another really neat opportunity to see other people's amazing bikes while chatting over very well priced beers. Definitely recommend if you are looking for fun and exciting environment.

Great live music but $8 bucks for a corona is over the top in AZ! When you can go across the street for live music and $4.00 corona's

Cowgirl / Cowboy heaven!…read more - - - - - - - - February, 2026 Visit On a 1-5 scale, this is at least a 7! We visited Phoenix / Scottsdale in February and my wonderful wife hoped we could go line dancing one night and I wanted to go, too. By Friday night we had a chance to get out and about; thankfully the front desk recommended visiting Carefree and/or Cave Creek. We looked and saw that a couple places have line dancing and that Buffalo Chip has bull riding... but riding?!? WOW!! So we finished eating, got dressed and we're on our way. Note: patrons are of all type, and I tended to observe into three groups... 1) 20-somethings, mostly dressed to meet someone and have fun; 2) real cowgirls and cowboys (20s-30s) and 3) older/married couples, some in western garb and others not (including some guys from England visiting PHX for golf), some with kids (can be there until 9:30/10pm or so then must go home). Dress: while many are in boots and hats, that is not a requirement; we packed neither for either of us, but did our best in tennis shoes, next time we visit PHX/Scottsdale, we will bring / wear boots. On my Buffalo Chip is a busy busy place... everyone is friendly and that is good; even with a line at the front door, with a long lines to get into the rodeo and restroom, and a short line at the bar, everyone is happy and friendly and tapping their toes from the music. We were soon in the stadium for bull riding, which is on Wednesdays and Fridays, three times. We have seen bull riding and other sports on TV and that is fun and in-person is so much more exciting. Seating is available about 2/3 - 3/4 or the way around the round ring. Some is open and some of the better seats are VIP pay a little more to be higher and with a better view. The bill riding was a blast. The overall atmosphere is fantastic... anyone and everyone should be uplifted when in the presence of real cowboys and cowgirls, and extra uplifted when you are able to put on your best outfits for the night with your bette half. Buffalo Chip has been around since 1998 and will hopefully be around for a long long time!! ----- ----- -----

Good place to take people who are visiting AZ. We went for bullriding & mutton bustin' on Friday…read morenight--they have 3 rounds starting at 8pm, 9:30pm and 10:45pm. Got there @ 7:15pm and found parking in the nearby dirt lot, 5 min wait for wristbands, and got a good seat in the bleachers since we were early. Seats did run out when it got closer to 8pm but ppl do leave in between the rounds. Bullriding was a good time! The restaurant is solid. Got beer, fried pickles, burgers, and mac & cheese. Despite how busy they were, food didn't take long and our server was on it. They had a live band and couples were swing dancing. The only real downside is if you don't like crowds because this place is popular--it was already packed at 7pm and people were still pouring in when we left around 10pm. Makes finding a seat or table just a little harder. Bathroom lines were crazy long at times so good luck if you're a girl lol.

Arrived on a Sunday at 1 pm and were seated in a corner booth. All wood booth, seating is tight for 7 and would be near impossible for 8. Hard straight up back. Glad i brought coat to sit on although it was a bit cool inside too. Old western style decor inside. A little crowded and noisy but since we were huddled in a tight booth, we had good conversations compared to other places. Seating outside with fair number of people but heaters didn't appear to be on - I would have been cold outside. Mostly picnic table seating outside; sitting next to road although fenced in. Some pups with patrons. Service good overall but fairly slow. Lilly had to go verify the special for the day. My burger came several minutes after other entries arrived - weird. I had the horny toad burger with fries - great fries! Burger had brisket with bacon too - it was fairly good. We also had onion rings as appetizer which were fairly good beer battered style. Others had the Cod and taco's, but the bday girl had liver an onions which she said were very good. Everyone liked the taco's and chips that came with them. The creamed corn was just ok, and coleslaw fairly good. No offer of little dessert for bday girl which was surprising given we told the waitress this and made reservation just for the occasion. Drinks were good overall. Beautiful drive to get there, but doubtful we will be back much. Value was ok for what we got but nothing tremendously special.
