You will find no sign indicating that there is a Hertz car rental location there, except for a 8 1/2 by 11 inch piece of paper stuck to the window. I had reserved a car online (Hertz will charge 5% more if you want to do it with someone over the phone) and the system had accepted my reservation for pick up the same day. So I went there and was told that I would have about a two-hour wait as they were waiting on cars to be brought from another location. Ok, fine, a bit of a wait. But then, after I asked if he was sure a vehicle would be ready around then, he backtracked and said it could even by later in afternoon. In other words, I might have to sit around all day in a Pep Boys store as there wasn't much in the area to go to except a Wendy's across the street. Then the manager came by and said that THERE WEREN'T GOING TO BE ANY CARS AVAILABLE THAT DAY. So, why had their system accepted my reservation then? I had taken an Uber to get to their location and now was going to have to find another car rental as Hertz had me come to their location with actually no car available. But as I'm calling to arrange another car rental, a few customers come in and it seems they had vehicles for them (or they were turning in ones). All I can say is that it's pretty evident that this is a pretty lousy-run business that has had to downgrade to a small desk in the corner of auto supply store and hasn't managed to put a sign outside for over a year. From speaking to the dale city branch to r Richmond Highway office, this turned out to be an experience that I would not want to repeat. The rudeness I encountered at dale city, causing me to be sent to Richmond Highway office, and then all of the information again was not disclosed. Why would you put a notice about a deposit out of immediate sight of a renter?? It needs to be front and center at the place where the renter is making their payment and speaking to the associate. When I returned the vehicle, I sat down in a chair, and no one offered to help me until I stood up and said, will somebody help me return this vehicle? You need to work on your customer service!! At 11:00 a.m., an agent called and said the company had sent him a 12-passenger Chevy Express van instead, and that I had to accept it or my reservation would be cancelled. I felt I had no choice but to at least look at the van and try to request a discounted price. The van was old and dirty, and it looked like it had been used in the commission of a crime. It had a strange odor, as if something had decomposed inside, and there were stains on the upholstery that looked like dried blood. It had clearly not been cleaned or vacuumed, and it seemed as if potential evidence from a serious incident could still be present. When I checked the back to see if the seats could be adjusted, a section fell apart, making it look as though a struggle had taken place there. I immediately asked for a refund because there was no way I was going to leave my fingerprints or DNA in that van. It is unbelievable that a rental company can effectively cancel a prepaid reservation, offer such an unacceptable replacement, and derail a trip with nothing more than a simple "sorry."

They have to, after all maintain them since they rent them out. And I knew they only wen to a certain number miles before selling. The reviews on Yelp were very favorable and the prices from what I saw were very reasonable. When we got there, we were passed off to another salesperson because ours was overbooked. We went over a few cars for my mom to test drive. The sales manager made her appearance and talked to us about my mom's trade which was really in woeful condition. So we gave her the keys and went off on a few test drives. The first was horrible... a really small half bubble... it was so small and had no pick up and I felt unsafe for my mom... then we tried an Accent. I liked it much better and she did too. Of course I wanted to try some more but she was getting nervous and this whole experience was for her to 'feel safe' and secure with a decision. She decided on the Accent. We got a very fair deal I think for my mom's... The sales manager came out and said that there were no values for my mom's car because it was so old... lol... so she asked what we were looking to get. I quoted a fair deal and she added a promotion they had going on at the time. My mom put a bit more down, and off we drove in her certified car. They took the numbers and came back with at least three or four different payment options. It was a very easy and unpressured experience. I highly recommend Enterprise Car Sales an option to anyone seeking an affordable used vehicle. Car salesmen in the past have told me a former rental car decreases the re sale value, but I fail to see the logic behind that... and have no way to debate it right now. Bottom line, I would recommend these guys in Woodbridge; and lovely female sales manager; good experience. So yay, they didn't take advantage of my elderly mother (of course I would not have let that happen any way...) and it was a pretty brief, straight forward process that took less than three hours.

A ProPublica investigation revealed that auto lender Exeter Finance offers loan extensions as a way to make profits from borrowers who can't make their payments, but the company doesn't clearly disclose how these extensions increase the total cost of the loan, leading to confusion and increased debt for borrowers. Many customers reported that they didn't understand the financial impact of these extensions before agreeing to them, with some being surprised by significant additional charges and even losing their cars despite making payments.
