Only bar left in town. Even though they're not open late anymore the food is still bomb and it will always be home.

Service was super slow and food was pretty gross. Not worth sending back just left it. All 6 of us won't be back.

Poor dining experience with loud bar patrons and semi-attentive waitress. The food was good.

I consumed very cheap alcohol here while on a hunting trip in Central PA. There really isn't much more to say about this place.

We stopped at Denny's Beer Barrel Pub on our way home last night and they did not disappoint!…read more They're known for their world record burgers and many of them sounded really good. But I was intrigued by the burnt turkey ends with maple waffle fries and maple turkey gravy and cheese curds I also ordered a bowl of chili and lemme tell ya - it was some of the best chili I've ever had! Now, the turkey ends... Wow, that plate was DELICIOUS I don't know how they make maple waffle fries, but they need to become a thing. The maple turkey gravy was rich and salty and sweet. The cheese curds were creamy and melty and added texture and flavor. I'm blaming it on the 16oz of beer and the bowl of amazing chili... But I tapped out halfway through haha! One of the most interesting and tasty meals I've had in a long time. I'm going to see how they heat up in the air fryer, for breakfast. Should you find yourself on I-80 in western PA, definitely plan to stop at Denny's Beer Barrel... But you better be ready to eat!

Very solid pub in Clearfield with a wide menu and plenty of different options although the claim to…read morefame are their burgers. We came to try the 2 pounder challenge (2 lbs AFTER cooking plus the toppings and bun), which I demolished in 30 min or so (you get an hour and if you finish you get a shirt, your name and finish time on a plaque in their Hall of Fame, and 50% off the burger itself). The burger itself was quite solid - juicy and tender without any seasoning so you can add your toppings. Be sure to grab a side of the fries (I prefer the crinkle-cut sweet potato), a milkshake or beer, and maybe a taco. It's no frills but a nice lowkey option that has a blend of visitors and locals.

3 - Good choice if you're in the area. Skip to the end to see my rating scale…read more The three things I look for in a brewery are a dog-friendly outdoor space, accessibility to some good grub, and (of course) some quality beers. The brewery does have smallish patio outside, but when we checked in to make sure it was pet friendly we found out that they are definitely NOT. "Sorry, no dogs are allowed on the premises. I mean, it can stay in your car, but don't let it out." Bummer for sure, although that patio wasn't terribly inviting on a chilly November night anyway. Besides not allowing our creature on the patio, the staff's demeanor didn't compensate. Most of the ones we talked to seemed pretty uninterested in being there...or maybe just not interested in paying attention to someone who isn't in college. We didn't take advantage of the food opportunities, but they do have a nice menu available. So maybe the food's good, maybe it's not, but it's certainly available. And to be fair, the place was crowded on a Saturday evening, so I think it's safe to assume that it's decent. Which brings us to the beer. Enough of the beers in our flights were good enough to save the rating above a 2 on my scale. They have some variety which is always a plus...sours, hefs, stouts, and multiple IPAs. If you're into craft beer like we are, you'll likely find something you'll like. It's unlikely that we'll return because there are a couple of other breweries close by that are significantly friendlier. But if you're in the area and in the mood for a pretty good craft beer, Robin Hood is a safe choice. My rating scale: 1 - Just don't 2 - You'll survive, but there are better choices close by 3 - Good choice if you're in the area 4 - I'd drive 30 minutes out of my way just to come here 5 - I'd try to convince my wife to drive an hour just to come here

Gave it a try and we walked in like a scene from a movie, the handful of locals at the bar gave us a once over. Found our way to a table, fella came from behind the bar and took it appetizer and drinks order. Cheese fries of sorts were very yummy. The Arena is connected to a bowling alley and does have a stage of sorts, looks like either live music or karaoke might take place. TVs are available to watch sporting events but the TVs might be 10+ year old, not the highest resolution by any means. Looking for a beer and opportunity to do some people watching be sure to visit the Arena.

Our table got cheesy garlic bread, a hot honey pepperoni pizza, and a sweet bourbon BBQ and bacon pulled chicken sandwich and fries and all the food was to die for. Everything was so fresh. Possibly my new favorite restaurant in town. We spoke with the manager that says they do karaoke nights, poker nights, paint nights, murder mystery dinners, etc there all the time. Not to mention the darts, pool tables, and bowling. If you have never been here or haven't been here lately, I highly recommend it.
