I got a chicken salad with iceberg lettuce. The staff seems aware of flies and broken AC, so this comes down to management. I usually visit restaurants three times before leaving a final eval, but this stands as my review until my next visit.

We had such a great experience our first HH Saturday night we stopped in again Sunday for dinner and drinks. Makalah made our visits so wonderful she gets a shout out Thank You. Makalah, and her fellow bar staff. all made superb handcrafted (took a minute or too and so worth it) cocktails for us each night such as; Sweater Weather bourbon, Mexican Firing Squad tequila, and Sangria. We also enjoyed a excellent crisp Caesar salad with flank steak with our red wine was a great dinner. My husband asked the bartender for a suggestion, so he made him a vodka gimlet. We loved them both! I enjoy the vibes and decor at Central Reservation. It's not a student handout although it is connected to Local Whiskey (same owners). There are cool photos on the walls (lots of pop culture references) and the bar stools have painted celebrities on the back. We've not eaten anything here, but they do have a menu. Cheers!

Our local friends recommended the sister bar/restaurants (Local Whiskey and Central Reservation) and we were glad they did. We enjoyed delicious craft cocktails professionally made by the bar staff and enjoyed a delicious Strawberry salad. Bar had pos decor with great tile work - we felt like we were in NYC. We had a great happy hour at Local Whiskey because the staff was polite and professional. We did find the decibel level in the bar extreme. I asked the server she said it does look like a strip and took it back to the kitchen and then returned with the same plate and who am I assume was the shift manager, after discussion with him, It turns out that this cut of beef was not a ribeye/Delmonico it was actually a Denver cut of beef, which, while in its own sense has some good flavoring it also has more a larger fat cap similar to a strip. Serving a Denver cut and calling it a Delmonico (ribeye ) is not the same thing and are vastly different in price from a butcher and typically at a restaurant. The cook was perfect. It was rare ( as ordered) and the small edible beef portions of the steak were flavorful, just not the buttery melt-in-your-mouth texture one would expect from a ribeye. I would not recommend the delmonico simply based on the actual cut and price. Instead go with the strip as that cut of beef is from a different part of the cow and great flavor. Good drinks too!

That said, the table service has been frustrating on multiple visits. Getting a simple refill can take 20-30 minutes, which shouldn't be the case for something that takes less than a minute. It's happened often enough that it feels like a pattern rather than a one-time issue. The main server, is friendly at first, but tends to forget requests--especially refills--and we've had to ask multiple times before getting one. It makes the overall experience feel disorganized and, at times, a bit frustrating. Even if he walks to the table, and we ask, he'll get to another table and then forget my table. Makes NO SENSE. Oh and quick to shut the tab down too and send a bill pronto! Interestingly, service at the bar is noticeably better, which makes the inconsistency stand out even more. At the time writing this review, the entire floor here isn't even that busy. So I don't understand what is so hard to refresh a patron. I really want to like this place because the food and some of the staff are great, but the lack of consistent service makes it hard to fully enjoy the experience. Good service goes a long way in bringing customers back. We've been coming here for almost half a year. I'll be heading somewhere else. So far some of my favorites have been the espresso-crusted venison (winter 2025-26) and the ramp risotto (spring 2026). It's rare to find a place with so much passion for local ingredients and showcasing the season. This is the obvious spot for a celebration or to impress your out-of-town guests. The place is also gorgeous. It's cozy without being dark. The staff always welcomes you and checks in frequently. I also want to give a shoutout to the cocktails. Everything here is very well crafted and there's great variety. I also love the wines. The list is extensive, but you can't go wrong choosing a bottle from the seasonal highlights on the menu.
