I lifted the hood to find that the oil cap was NEVER REPLACED after the oil change was done. I had oil splashed all over the parts and underneath the padding of the interior hood. I couldn't believe the guy made such a rookie mistake! When I called the shop, to tell them about my problem, no one answered the phone, even though it was 4:50 and they closed at 5. They were closed on Saturday too. I had to wait the whole labor day weekend to go to this shop again. When I went again, the mechanic (older guy) was very defensive and couldn't believe that the oil cap wasn't replaced. I told him I could show him pictures of the damage, but right away he refused to see any. Then he started playing mind games, asking me, "Who cleaned your car?" when the car was visibly dirty. When I used my index finger to wipe the outside of the engine and show him the grim and oil, he told me that the car "was like that before." I told him that it wasn't and told him I took pictures and videos. He then asked me, "what do you want me to do?" How about some accountability? Apology? How about saying that you'll at the least clean the exterior of the engine? I asked him to clean the parts underneath the hood. He told me to COME BACK! He literally told me to come back in 2 or 3 days! Wow. Do you think I would let him touch my car after his unwillingness, deception, and rude behavior? I came to this auto shop because it was highly rated on Yelp, but I could not believe the horrible service that I got. I called another day to ask to speak to the owner, but the mechanic refused to even give me his name. In fact, he lied and said that HE was the owner!!! But I saw the owner on the day I went in for the oil change. Don't come here unless you want a rude, unaccountable jerk to ruin your car.

After the oil change was completed, I returned home. Later that day, I planned to drive to Oceanside to visit a family member. Since it was a longer trip than I usually take, I decided to check my vehicle's tires, brakes, and oil level to make sure everything was safe before leaving. During my inspection, I discovered that the engine oil level was approximately one quart low, even though I had just paid to have the oil changed earlier that day. Concerned about the low oil level, I stopped at AutoZone and purchased an additional quart of oil. I then asked the employees to help me add the oil to bring the level back to where it should be before continuing with my plans.

Showed up, filled out some simple paperwork and was in and out within 2 hours. They explained to me with a break model showing me how bad they were and how my rotars had damage as well. After that conversation I requested to see the breaks and rotars that they had removed and he said yes. They were very low and barely there . When it was time to pay I asked if they had military discount and they do. They apply it to the service fee but the entire thing. Nice 10%. He also provided me a copy of my receipt and explained everything that was on it to me. He was very kind and patient. I wish I had his name, all I know is that he's bald and light skinned.
