The holes were well maintained but not too challenging, making Putters Paradise a good course for beginners or people who want an easy game. For those who are more advanced, this course may be a little less exciting. Despite, this I loved the atmosphere of the course. The flowers and water were beautiful decorations and there were even some ducks hanging around. One of the nicest touches I noticed was that at every pond there were fishing nets, just in case you happened to lose your ball. Overall, I had a fun time and would recommend Putter's Paradise if you are looking for something fun to do in the area!

My kids enjoyed playing in the arcade after which had a good variety of games. They also have some type of snack bar you can get food at but we didn't get anything. While I enjoyed the TMNT 4-player arcade game and shooting basketballs at the NBA hoops. We won most of our tickets from skeeball, NERF Arcade, and NBA hoops. *BE MINDFUL that not all of the arcade games disperse tickets so you know what you are paying and playing for.* We didn't win enough tickets to redeem anything that we liked. Now onto the food: you have to buy an entire personal pizza instead of a slice. Not a bad thing because it can easily be split between two people or devoured by a very hungry person. The pizza is solid. Much better than I anticipated. It has a homemade taste to it, much like those homemade English muffin pizzas that one can make at home. The candy bars are about $1.25 a piece. I assume was a private party, but I was lead to a no views, darker lit, lonely area where booths are so tall that blocks any view. Then I waited for the waitress, who wasn't rude, but was not friendly nor helpful and took forever to take and serve my order. At that point the taste of food just didn't help to help with the experience. Food was MEH!! I had to get up and look for someone to get my check. I asked the waitress why I was seated in such a lonely and out of view table, she stated I asked for it. WHAT!???, I stated I did not. She reiterated was my choosing, reminded her of the "Please wait to be seated" sign at the entrance, she said that is only for the restaurant side, no the bar. Why DO YOU Place a sign by front door. Great in summer when it's 110 in the shade, raining cats and dogs or the boardwalk could have a February glaze of snow on it and...they're still open. The one pseudo-negative is like many others have mentioned, if you go in season when there are a lot of people playing, the holes in the black light room are stacked on top of each other and it always feels like you're in somebodies way or someone is in your way. There are many places you could get your putt-putt on in OCNJ and to me Haunted is somewhere in the upper-middle of the pack. It's nowhere near the worst (Goofy Golf) but also nowhere near the best (Tee-Time). Is it different? Of course, indoor with black lights always will be. Is the course "scary"? No. Is the course hard? No. Is it what you would expect from an OCNJ cheesy putt-putt course? You bet.

I liked that we had a large private room and each kid and adult got unlimited play and an allotted dollar amount on their play cards. Our host was excellent. He handled all the food, cleanup and instructions for the kids. I cannot remember his name, but he was great. Our party was Jan 17th in the evening. It had snowed earlier, but the turnout was still good and the kids had an absolute blast. Concessions were oddly reasonable in pricing. I would definitely come back!
