Outstanding and Professional -All the Way!!!…read more *****Professional and Effortless appointment scheduling. Mr. Jermaine and Mr. Eddie are true Professionals!!! I received a courtesy call, saying they were enroute to my property and after arriving that did a phenomenal job of thoroughly pumping out my septic tank, replacing and ensuring a good seal was done. Thank you for the opportunity to provide a review on your Company and the Professionals that work there.

On 9/8/26 A1 Septic emptied my nearly full septic tank. I observed the entire process while the…read moretwo men, Germaine and Eddie (G & E) proceeded. They removed the tank lid and inserted a large white tube to suction the contents out. When they got to the eight years of solids G told me they "only remove what comes out through the tube. Not the solids." I said, "Doesn't this result in the tank filling up sooner?" He just shrugged and said, "This is how it's done." G then replaced the tank lid and I noticed he did not align it properly NOR did he use any sealant adhesive. At the time I was unaware that adhesive is required and a mandatory part of the emptying process. Hence, what you are PAYING THEM TO DO, to prevent dirt and liquid from filling up the tank very soon. Not to mention the fact that they didn't even empty the tank's fecal contents! On 10/8/26, after several straight days of rain I noticed a huge area of smelly sewage water (dark bluish-green-black color with foam), present above the area where the tank is located. Obviously, they did not seal the septic tank lid. I immediately phoned A1 Septic and explained what I had observed G & E do (and NOT do), and told them what I suspected had happened and they agreed to send someone out "before noon" the next day. LATE (~3:45pm) on Friday, 10/9/26 G returned with an employee named Austin. Austin informed me he is "sent to properties where there are problems, such as yours." That being a leak after only thirty days of a tank being emptied. I told Austin, with G present, how I had observed G not position the tank lid securely on his 9/9/26 visit, not had I observed him use sealant, as required. I videoed this entire process of them examining the tank, with their verbal permission received in advance, and with Austin agreeing that the he could tell that sealant had not been used. The tank, of course, with all this rain, was FULL! Also, for the record, when G phoned me to say they were on their way, I informed him I would be recording their work. He did not object. After a few minutes of Austin and G suctioning the tank's contents they stated their truck tank was full and they were going to have to leave and have it suctioned out. I asked if he had to go to a sod farm to do this and he said not this time. He said he would leave his suction tubing so I would know he was returning. About twenty minutes later Austin and G returned. Austin then told me the woman who owns A1 Septic (there are three joint owners), said he was not allowed to empty my tank AT ALL. My tank was full to the top due to the current rainfall and water surrounding the dig site flowing in. I pleaded with Austin to suction it out and he said she (owner) said he was NOT ALLOWED TO DO IT! I asked Austin if this meant that sewage will now back up into my house and he said, "Yes, it's likely that sewage will now back up into the house drains." I asked him what I was to do now that it's late on a Friday night with a full septic tank. He said I could likely "call some other company to come out on Saturday, but not A1 Septic." While Austin and G were still at my house I phoned an attorney and put him on speaker so they could all hear what my attorney was advising. In conclusion: I had phoned A1 Septic to allow them to remedy their errors, which were not emptying my tank originally on 9/9/26 and not sealing my tank or lining up the lid and the same date. And now, on 10/9/26, after they realized their negligence was obvious and on video recording, they were advised my A1 Septic's owner to leave my premises. Also important to mention, I had a plumber present on 10/9/26 who observed the entire scenario.
