It's a very old building which has been remodeled into a wonderful gem in the downtown historic district. There is no front desk. On the day you are scheduled to arrive Paula will text you the key code for the outside door and the door to your room and you are good to go. I also have to give a shout out to management as on one prior visit I had a canceled flight and had to stick around an extra day and they could not have been nicer in making sure I had a clean room to come back to on extremely short notice. Thanks! As you can see from my pictures, the digs are quite nice, complete with some really stellar toiletries, kitchen, ample space and REALLY friggin comfy beds if you are into a more soft mattress. I typically hate all hotel beds. They make me miss home immediately, but the mattresses here are legit. The bar and restaurant 'The Asylum' is right next door with a huge beer selection and decent grub. The owners of this hotel own the bar as well, but it is also within easy walking distance to downtown Lewisburg where there are ample options for both food and bars if you want to explore a bit. The price is a bargain for how nice of a place it is to post up. You are crazy to stay at one of the local hotels Escape has a vacancy. However, many visitors are not aware Escape even exists since its not listed on many of the travel sites. This suits me just fine as I want to always have a room waiting for me when I am in town.

I wasn't quite sure how to handle the drive so I ended up backing up along the building and parking so I could easily pull out. At first I felt a bit uncomfortable being a solo traveler at the back of the building but then I enjoyed it because it was quiet and well lit at night. The room was nice and looked to be recently remodeled. It was spacious and the internet worked great. There was a nice looking clean pool. The breakfast had good options and items changed daily. There was a lovely community right behind the property that was nice to walk my pet. There is a Walmart and Starbucks within walking distance. It was a nice little area to stay in.

The room I stayed in was outdated, at least the bed was comfortable. No clue why I was given a room on the second floor, this hotel wasn't busy. Very few vehicles parked in the lot. I took a peek at some rooms, appeared that some of them are being worked on. Employees were doing things early in the morning of my departure, the noise was annoying. I've stayed at other Quality Inns, but this location was a disappointment. It was Motel 6 like, but more expensive. As a matter of fact, I believe a well-run Motel 6 would be better. For the money, there are certainly better options nearby! Desk clerks were competent. The location of this hotel is good, there's a grill/ lounge attached. A few other eating establishments are close as well. Easy access to I-64.

Close to shopping, restaurants, but the view from our hotel room was a picturesque farm and countryside. Friendly staff. Thankful it was pet-friendly, and the cost for our pets wasn't exorbitant...it wasn't a "per night" cost that could add up quickly; rather, it was a flat cost. Definitely recommend.

Also nice to see normal sized shampoo, conditioner and body wash as I forget mine at home and those bitty bottles don't do nothing for a full grown anyone. I am BLOWN away that there is a dishwasher, full fridge instead of mini and a microwave along with a "kitchen sink" right in the hotel room also. AWESOME! Also the app to not only open all doors but also to get into the building. Talk about safety. I mean it's SUPER annoying when our phones always demagnetize our key cards so I luv it. Now for the downside... we found a stink bug in our room! Now how it got in here is the question. I mean coulda been worse and been a spider or bed bugs, but if I hadn't seen it on our window and again on a shelf well it coulda appeared anywhere while we were sleeping. Therefore I take off a star. Love everything ya got going on here buuuuut maybe try not to let bugs in the building lol Just a friendly suggestion UPDATE the bug came back OR it was the same one NOW dead bc for some reason my mom did not kill it before throwing it away. It's a huge room it woulda been fine but ya ew

We were pulling our camper heading for a campground in Williamsburg and one of the maintenance men directed us to a good out of the way place to park our camper. Kudos to him for steeping up and helping us out with this. Check in was quick and easy and we were appreciative of the first floor room. As it was 7pm dinner was a no brainer with a Dominos pizza store a quick walk across the parking lot. The pizzas were great and satisfied the hunger of all. The grandchildren were enjoying the swimming pool as they always do and I loved that the hotel supplied swim towels poolside. The pool was a nice size and very well maintained. The beds in the room were very comfortable and the room was nice and clean and amply sized for two adults and two children. WiFi and Internet worked well for us. In the morning we headed for the breakfast area with the promise of a hot breakfast. There was the typical fare of carbohydrate laden foods but to my surprise there was also a very nice selection or proteins to be had as well. Let me name a few, egg omelet and sausage, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, creamy oatmeal with brown sugar and craisins. Very nice breakfast and we went away fueled up with good food to start the day. Thank you to all the staff that made our overnight stay very nice. We will definitely continue to have Hampton Inn on our radar when we travel without our camper.

We were impressed with all the complimentary snack offerings upon arrival. The beds were standard, comfy, and clean. We had a nice little mountain view and it was a cute area. The tub in the shower didn't have a drain plug and looked like it needed to be painted badly, and the water pressure was very weak, that was the only downside, but not a huge deal for an overnight. We'd definitely stay here again when in Princeton.

This trip was no different--after a seven-hour road trip, the four of us (plus my service dog) rolled in, dreaming of a quick swim and some relaxation. Spoiler alert: that dream died fast. We used the Hilton app to check in, but I went down to the desk for a second key so my husband and I could both access the room and amenities. I gave my room number, and--without asking for my name, ID, or even confirming I belonged there--the employee just handed me a key and said, "Have a good night." I'm sorry, WHAT? That's not customer service, that's a security disaster waiting to happen. We stayed in room 504, where we were greeted by a musty, dirty odor strong enough to knock you backward. The room looked like it hadn't seen a dust cloth in years. The bathtub? Absolutely disgusting. Several light bulbs were out. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable, the whole place felt like a tropical rainforest with the humidity, and the Wi-Fi (which I need for my work as a REALTOR®) didn't connect at all. To top it off, the shower had no hot water, and by morning, I'd developed a sore throat. The pool was supposed to be our redemption moment. Instead, an interior light fixture came loose while my kids were in the water. We immediately got them out and told the staff. Two hours later, the pool was still open and people were still swimming like nothing happened. Because apparently, here, safety hazards double as "added ambiance." Then there's the "pet relief" area--a 5x5 patch of grass that looked like a landmine field of other dogs' poop, with shards of glass scattered throughout. The bag dispensers were empty, not that I didn't bring my own. My poor service dog deserves better than that. And just when I thought I'd seen it all, I spotted exposed wires on the 5th floor, seemingly connected to a security camera. Nothing says "welcome" quite like loose electrical wiring. The one and only pleasant surprise? Breakfast. It was actually good--shockingly good, given everything else. Unfortunately, one decent meal doesn't erase the fact that this stay was dirty, unsafe, uncomfortable, and far below the standard Hilton promises, especially for Diamond members.
