This place is adorable! All of the cottages were built between 1930 - 1950. We stayed in one of the smaller, more 'rustic' cabins, with a single bedroom, washroom and wood burning stove for heat. (There are others, which are much larger and have electric heaters, but we were on a budget.) There's a beautiful lake only steps away, and you can take a canoe out and paddle around. There's also a large field for kids to run around in, and a couple pegs set up to play a game of horseshoes. The people who run it are very friendly, and overall it's a very relaxing, cute place to spend the weekend out of town. Open from May to October. read more
