Poor service. Cold food. Not replenishing buffet despite still being completely packed with people and having 2 hours left till closing.

That being said, the BetMGM app works inside the casino and has full functionality to place all the bets that you would be able to in any other circumstances. (Some states are less restrictive and you can use the app anywhere, apparently in Mississippi you have to be inside the casino). They have fantastic sportsbook specific customer service agents inside a sports bar and they can guide you through promos etc on the app. There's also a full bar in there and a food menu. Tons of slots all around on the casino floor, (which is actually 2 floors), and all the table games with plenty of tables open on a Sunday night. Most blackjack tables were $25 minimum, I believe there was 1 that was $15. Craps also $15 minimums. Plenty of staff, wait staff passing through relatively frequently. Clean, tidy and professional dealers. Lots of easy parking outside both valet and self parking. Trying to figure out comps can be nebulous at best in a lot of cases, but I feel like it didn't take much to get a couple of meals in the restaurant that was open later in the evening when I got hungry. Food was alright. Chicken fingers, fried catfish, fries etc. Not bad for a free meal. Overall this place is worth a stop if you're passing by and I'd book the hotel if I were passing by just to play a little along the way.

This was not a pleasant experience…read more Came here on an early Thursday afternoon to try the casino. The town only has 4 casinos now and the entire city looks empty. We were able to park in the front since parking lot was empty as well. The inside is sparse. There are way more machines than live action games. The place seems kind of sad honestly. No enjoyment here at all.

If you're looking for an affordable place to stay in Tunica, this is one place to consider. It's…read morenot going to blow you away or anything, but the lady behind the counter likes to laugh, the lobby is clean, there are six elevators, it's close to Horseshoe and Gold Strike, and it's quiet. Now that I'm writing this, I'm starting to wonder why it's so quiet. Eh. Doesn't matter. All I needed was a quiet room so I could type when I wasn't playing poker (or eating chicken Lo Mein with no vegetables at the Horseshoe). I would cautiously recommend Fitz. You get what you party for. You will be paying less.

I should've checked out the moment I checked in."…read more Let me save you some time--and some money. This place looks decent online, but in real life? Completely different story. The first thing that hit me wasn't the decor--it was the smell. The hallway had this strong, unpleasant odor, like something wasn't properly cleaned and they tried to cover it up with cheap fragrance. That's never a good sign. Then you look around... and it only gets worse. The floors were dirty and worn down, like they haven't seen real maintenance in a long time. The walls had this dull, lifeless color that made the whole place feel cold and neglected instead of welcoming. Now let's talk about something serious--safety. My door lock wasn't even right. That's not a minor inconvenience--that's a deal breaker. If I can't feel secure in my own room, nothing else matters. And the food? Honestly, it felt like an afterthought. I spent close to $50 and got: * Chili cheese fries with cheese that wasn't even melted * A buffalo pizza where the chicken was just tossed on top like nobody cared to actually cook it into the pizza No effort. No quality. Just disappointing. To top it all off, I ended up feeling sick afterward--which pretty much confirmed everything about this stay. This wasn't just a bad experience--it felt like a complete lack of care across the board. Do yourself a favor: keep scrolling and book somewhere else.

Goldstrike Casino has become an absolute disaster zone under the new ownership. This place has…read morenosedived so hard it's almost impressive -- if neglect, filth, and incompetence were an Olympic sport, they'd take the gold. Nothing works. The elevators have been broken for months, leaving only one in service. It's a safety hazard and a blatant ADA violation waiting to happen. Elderly guests, people with disabilities, and staff are forced to wait for ages or climb stairs while management pretends it's not their problem. Maybe an ADA investigation is the only thing that will finally get them to care. The casino floor? Dead. No payouts, no energy, no life. Machines are tighter than a vault and about as exciting as a morgue. The staff look miserable, clearly beaten down by leadership that gives zero concern for morale or guests. Then there's the food -- if you can call it that. The restaurant and steakhouse are an insult. My steak smelled so foul it was actually nauseating -- like rancid meat and dirty gym socks. It was disgusting, and management usually doesnt even blink. Typically No apology, no replacement, no basic decency. Just indifference. They took the steak off the bill for once but I didnt even eat any of it it was so disgusting. The entire property is dirty, outdated, and depressing. Stained carpets, broken fixtures, and an overwhelming feeling that no one in charge has lifted a finger in months. It's honestly unsafe and unsanitary. Their "1 Star Rewards" program couldn't be more fitting -- because that's exactly the experience you'll get: 1 star service, 1 star cleanliness, 1 star management, and 1 star safety. Goldstrike used to have pride and atmosphere. Now it's just greed, grime, and garbage. This place should be shut down until someone competent takes over.
