Really disappointed in Riverside Taphouse. I went there for the very first time and sat down in the outdoor tent. I waited for 30 minutes for a waitress, but was finally told ( by another customer) I would have to go inside to order a drink. No signs to indicate what a customer is supposed to do. I have mobility issues, so going inside was more than I expected to do. I left. I will not be returning. read more

Though coming to this bar was Actually not on my agenda. Me and my wife came here to check this place out. This place is in the heart of Elizabethton and it's absolutely a Hidden Gem. It's a cute little cozy bar and it even have a little Beer Garden in the back. We didn't visit that part. The bar has tons of positive energy and you can feel it! There's not really any food but they do have plenty of games. If you are not drinking at all and playing designated driver, This place does have non-alcoholic options for you and yes I mean 0.0% non alcoholic options. I didn't catch the bartender's name but he was absolutely friendly and social with us the entire time! There was nobody there on a Tuesday but he was a pleasure chatting with. The cutest town with the cutest taphouse. Such a variety of outdoor seating and lots of easy parking. Shank was so helpful with beer suggestions and recommended the bbq next to the taphouse. Love the coloring group and live music! We bought land here and I already feel at home! Will be regulars soon! read more

Good selection of craft beers. Big Dans BBQ next door and Jiggy Rays Pizza, down the street, good pearing with the beers. Small inside seating but Nice little outdoor patio with entertainment in the back is a plus in the summer time. Very good starter business for downtown Elizabethton. read more

This little spot is such a great addition to downtown Elizabethton. They've always got something fun happening, great music and food trucks. The beer selections are great and include beers you can't find at the grocery store. Great community vibe, family friendly and dog friendly. They do a good job keeping the space clean and inviting. Very small taphouse in a very laid back town that is a bit stuck in time...but this is one small engine that can. They book music as often as possible, and the bartenders are super helpful. Inside this place reminds me a lot of Old Oak, but has a much better vibe to it. read more

This Taphouse is the best addition to downtown Elizabethton! It's wonderful to have a place to go and visit with so many people who you may have never known lived in Elizabethton. They have a wonderful selection of rotating taps and the owners are the nicest people you'll ever meet. I'm guessing the previous reviewer was having a bad day and decided to take it out on a brand new business before addressing the issue with them personally. Go in and enjoy the atmosphere and beers. This is my first bad review. The Riverside Taphouse has a nice selection of beers and ciders. It's next to Big Dan's BBQ and down the street from Jiggy Ray's--so good food can be brought in. The bartenders are knowledgeable and helpful. The owners, however need to understand that they are in the hospitality business--not there own bar. One of the owners had a business meeting in the main room and was quite awful in how she dealt with vendors in public. She then polished tables, spraying noxious fumes while my wife and I were trying to enjoy our beers--had to leave due to the smell We'll not be back. Too bad for Elizabethton. read more
