We could not decide where we wanted to stop for Linner and we decided on this place because it looked and sounded different. Man were we glad we stopped. I ordered 16 wings to share with the wife, hot honey, real dill and gochujang. Don't be scared of the real dill, the flavor is not overpowering at all. We normally order our wings extra crispy and I would not do that here, the next time we are in, because they would have been gtg without that. I had seen the signs for Gypsy Circus listed as an attraction while driving the interstate. I finally decided to stop by and check it out. Since there were so many signs, I guess I expected more than a small cider tasting room. I ordered a flight to try things out. I got the Queen of Swords which was there traditional, and honestly my least favorite. I also tried Hippie Hash which was a dry hopped cider and it was quite good. Then there was the Tea Leaf Reader. This was a chai spiced cider that I very much enjoyed. My favorite was a seasonal, but the wrong season, the Nutcrackers Revenge. It was a gingerbread cider and was excellent. When I ordered, I didn't realize they had food since the restaurant next door was closed. I didn't notice the bbq sauce bottles on the tables, or I would have potentially ordered food too. The ciders were decent. I've had better but also definitely had worse. I'd consider stopping by again if in the area. read more

We tried both of their cheese dips: House Cheese Dip with Naan triangles; House-made Pimento Dip with tortilla chips. Both were very delicious. Glad we tried both dips. Their naan bread is chewy with a little crunchy outside. Best naan ever. Hubby enjoyed #9 cider and I enjoyed their dessert mead (strawberry crumble) thanks to the samples from the server. I came here since I couldn't decide on any other decent place in town for dinner. Turns out they don't really have dinner, more just a menu of apps, snacks, nachos, bowls, wings, meat platters, taco platters, and dips. I went with the wings since it's hard to mess those up. They come with 1 side and 1 sauce, so I chose vindaloo sauce and house chips since they were recommended. You get 6 breaded wings with your order. They didn't ask me, but automatically gave me what I think was blue cheese dressing. I tried a couple of the ciders, but didn't really like any, so i picked a local beer, which was easy to drink. I apparently visited on trivia night, but didn't join in. The interior is all decked out with gypsy and circus like decor, with some Xmas decor thrown in too, since it was nearly December. The wings were huge...and the vindaloo flavor was definitely unique...just not spicy by any means like u would think. Instead, it's like a mild Indian curry. Everything was going fine until u realized the thicker larger wings were slightly undercooked and had red juices flowing from them. Uggh This just isn't my scene either, but I was trying to be open minded. On a side note, they have an arcade area next to the restrooms, but I am not a video game person...and nobody was playing during my visit. This place is truly amazing. The owners have poured a huge amount of personal creativity into making it a unique experience. The atmosphere and decor, even the architecture of the place, is just so incredibly welcoming, you wish you could move in next door and hang oit here all the time! The on-site brewery makes amazing Cider, Mead and beer, plus they've got every other drink you can imagine ordering. The kitchen makes a menu regional fare like fried green tomatoes, smoked BBQ, and a wide array of platters that will make your mouth water. Also non-regional dishes like pot stickers, nachos and egg rolls -- and all at great prices too! When I came here I was served by the wonderful Madison, a friendly bartender who is happy to answer every question. Truly, this place is one of the nicest surprises I've ever found on Yelp. Our experience at gypsy was pleasant. The ambiance is very cute, with the hammocks and lighting. I will say that the stairs to get down to the outside area are *quite* the hazard, and seems like a weird thing to have in a place where people intend to be drinking alcohol. I enjoyed my cider flight and my partner enjoyed his IPA. If you're in the area, I'd say it's absolutely worth a trip! I love cider, so when visiting the Tri-Cities area, I searched the internet to see what I could find. Gypsy Circus popped up, and I knew immediately this was going to be a stop. They have a great selection of interesting ciders, and I ended up with a flight that consisted of the apple, the Concord grape, and the lemoncello versions along with a fourth one that was a rum infused version of the apple. I also tried the habanero vanilla in slush form which was very interesting, and I wish I had tried it on the flight, too. Every cider was amazing in taste! The bartenders were super friendly and helpful. It was a nice day outside, so I sat in the patio area which also functions as a dog park for those who wish to bring their four-legged friends. Additionally, I tried the BBQ nachos. I almost ordered something else when I saw that they were covered with pimento cheese, but I'm so glad I didn't because the combination of flavors was absolutely incredible! I highly recommend a stop here for all cider lovers. I imagine the beer selection is just as good, but I'm not a beer enthusiast so I can't say for sure... I'm just pretty certain you won't be disappointed either. So do yourself a favor and stop in whether you are local or traveling through. Fabulous experience yesterday at Gypsy Circus. Traveling from out of town and popped in to see what they had and didn't want to leave! Grant is an amazing guide to tasting and was spot on with his recommendations for our taste preferences. He went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience. I'm sorry, however my review has gone from 5 stars to 1 star after the last few visits we've had to the location. We first started visiting Gypsy Circus over a year ago; their bartenders were great, their beverages were pretty good, and prices were fair (and pretzels were AMAZING). Then COVID hit. At first everything was good - they had bottles of sanitizer on every table, enforced social distancing rules, and the pretzels were still awesome. However, the last few times we've been, it's gone sharply downhill. Tonight when we went there were almost no masks being worn. There was a singer INSIDE with a table of 9 under 6 feet away. The bartenders rarely wore masks. The bar was crowded, no distancing - I couldn't even comfortably pay my tab. I now understand why the Tri-Cities has the second highest increasing COVID rates per capita. What's worse? THE PRETZELS WERE COLD! The shrimp bowls (for $9/ea) had about half a cup of rice, 6 Sysco lukewarm shrimp, and some mess of "slaw" on top. It was an absolute joke. (Actually the last 2 times the pretzels were cold and the cheese was congealed.) Gypsy Circus - you need to get your shit together. You were once great. To know Gypsy Circus Cider is to love it. Even the snobbiest beer drinkers I know can get on board with this stuff. The cider is delicious. It's not overly sweet like you would expect from ciders that you've had in the past. And they've up the game by upping the alcohol content. They have crafted this stuff to perfection. The varieties are creative and will blow your taste buds away. We walked into the taproom and were greeted by a friendly bartender that was happy to offer suggestions. We both got a flight, which consists of five 4-oz pours, so that we could taste all ten of their tapped ciders. They were all so different. I loved the Chai cider. The Orange Blossom Honey Cyser was also one of my favorites. They also offer a variety of guest beers from other area breweries. Everyone's happy! The taproom itself is beautiful! They have obviously spent time money into this place and it shows. They offer evening entertainment and have food trucks on site for food. Their patio is also pretty stellar. What a fun, chill spot with the best cider I've had to date. The menu can be intimidating if you're used to chain restaurant menus with cheap, crap beer on tap but start with a flight. They have an excellent selection of local to the area beers as well as their own cider concoctions. The Gin botanical was my favorite until the really awesome bartender gave me a taste of the chai tea cider and I wish they canned it. They have a growler deal on Mondays that is fantastic if you're local-and it made me wish I still lived in my hometown. They run trivia nights and live music which makes this a great new spot in town. The staff is great and engaging with the regulars and new people to the establishment. read more
