After filling out a survey they sent out, I got a response from management that they would go down to $65 since I was unhappy. Their website advertises this same storage spot, right now, for $65. So, I was overcharged $13 per month for 8 months. Then to top it off, I pulled my camper out on August 12 and they will not refund me for the time I have already paid for. I would avoid this place at all cost.

Find another storage company, any other company. Cubesmart doesn't actually have a customer service…read moreline or any representatives that will help resolve issues that arise, and trust me, issues with this deplorable company arise. First red flag should have been the fact that when I tried to rent a unit and move my stuff in, there was no one physically in the office nor anyone answering the phones even remotely to answer questions and clarify things. Second red flag was that after moving in, the front door's security was broken and literally anyone off the street could access the building. But I desperately needed a place to store my stuff. At the time, I was told the price I had was what would remain for the duration of my renting the unit and the reason that I couldn't get a better price was that it was the summer, and that the lower prices are in the winter. Accordingly, I was shocked to find my price increased, and more so, without any warning. I was told a notice was mailed, but to this day, I NEVER got such a notice. I called customer service, the national number, and was told to get in touch with the physicial store I was at because they don't have control over that. I asked, what is the purpose of the customer service line if they can't help provide service or resolution to issues, they said "we're just here for security issues." the fact the price increased during the winter months, which are notorious for having cheaper prices, makes no sense. Speaking with other customers at that location, who had rented units for over a year, they told me their price they had never changed, so it's incredibly out of the norm that my unit increased. Also, this is more than likely a health hazard. There was a dead bird in front of one of the units that was there for a couple months, indicating no one is cleaning the floors or doing any sort of inspection in the building.

I'm not sure which guy it was but it terrified me that this person was hooking a trailer to my truck. I drove home slowly and had my husband recheck everything. The following weekend I went back to get another trailer bc the location is convenient and now I know how to make sure the trailer is securely attached. I don't need to describe the employee because one exchange with him and you will know exactly who I am talking about. I asked him a question about the information he was requesting because I had rented a trailer the weekend prior,he starts telling me how I can go spend my money elsewhere and he was already dealing with another customer with a bad attitude. I ignored him, not understanding why HE was getting bent out of shape about me questioning him. When it was time to pay I asked him to use the card I made the reservation with. His response was incredibly snarky " the card has to be present at the time of purchase" (although the previous weekend he asked me if I wanted to use the card on file). He then went into a tirade about how he hated his job, " I hate this job, hate this place, makes me sick!" Then this joker gave me no receipt and attached my trailer and waved me off. Needless to say I WILL GO out of my way to find another store, maybe even a different company. I have used this location multiple times for personal and business moves but I will not again and I will tell EVERYONE I know and post this review everywhere I can because the sad part is he is destroying someone's business with his toxic behavior. There are 11 places to rent U-Hauls in Macon Georgia, I would take this guys advice and choose any location besides this one.
