The mileage does not represent what the car really has. They have tampered with the mileage and did Odometer fraud.

they sell nothing but junk cars!!! and they illegally roll back the miles on vehicles! even newer vehicles!!! even if they are digital odometers. do yourself a favor and run a carfax before you even think to buy! they are nothing but scammers and crooks that sell nothing but junk. i thought they were legit at first but ed and brandon are real good at what they do. they also post on offerup so you dont even know your coming to this auction place. they are good con men. they sold me a car with 135,778 miles?? right?? negative! the mileage was tampered with and they make you sign a " sold as is " separate paper agreement so you won't go after them. when i left the auction place i saw the back of the pink slip said it was at 240k at 5/16/22 when sold. carfax confirmed that as well . it was sold in auction to these people representing themselves as " a&e auto sales " or " riverside public car auction " who then scammed me for my money! do yourself a favor and stay away!!!! instagram profiles : alpha_autoauction alpha_auto_auction_2 they are nothing but scammers! odometer fraud is a federal offensive. i will be reporting them to the bbb and anybody else i can. they will probably just change their name and keep scamming. but i hope this review helps and they don't scam anybody else.. buyers beware!!

Where do I begin... bought a car here and it had 134,000 miles on it. Cool!!!! Right?!?! Except...it didnt.....because they illegally rolled them back...oh yeah, AND TOOK MY MONEY EVEN WHEN CALLED ON IT. Let me start at the beginning: I show up to pay, cool. I had already given a $300 deposit after winning the bid. I go to pay but there are no plates at all AND the old registered tabs were expired. I asked for a temporary and Sheila (Shayla?...who is cool as shit and great at her job btw) says they dont issue them but shes kinda new and makes a call. "Come back tomorrow around 10 am and you can talk to them about it and we will get it sorted out". Cool. I grab a hotel since I didnt wanna drive back to Huntington Beach and come back in the morning as planned. I wait until about 1230 because I was told "he says he will be here in 10 minutes with the temporary plate". While waiting I pull a VIN report and lo and behold it was just picked up for auction a month prior with 235,500 miles on it!!!!!! Finally Jesus (I think that's his name. Short white fat dude with no people skills) shows up with an attitude. Tells me I'm lucky he will only charge me $35. I ask about the miles and suggest maybe we swap to a different car or something. The response "miles are irrelevant after a car is 10 years old so it doesn't matter". UHHHHHH YEAH DIPSHIT!!! IT DOES!!! ESPECIALLY THE COST OF A SUBARU TRANSMISSION. Long story short he tells me to beat it, they kept my money, and filed reports with District Attorney, US Attorney, Consumer Goods Office, and called a personal friend who's a congressman. I hope they audit the shit outta them. I'll get my $300 back one way or another!!!! Assholes.

Bought 2 cars here, both didn't make it out the lot, piece of junks, half of the buyers here are in with the company s&s or ie auto auction to jack up prices

This is what you'll get from this "auction" cars that should not be sold to public there is a reason some cars have a dismantling/parts only title they are willing to let families travel in cars that have mold/water damage, animal feces all under the seats and even blood on carpets and seats. Beware and look through cars throughly

Good price for my vehicle, unfortunately you cannot see under the hood before the auction is going on.

They are a scam, pushing cars that should be sent to the junk yard. Unless you are a mechanic, don't go.

This is for an auction of surplus items…read more I wanted to pick up a bicycle as I had moved closer to the boardwalk at the beach, not wanting to pay hundreds of dollars for a new bike I wanted to try out going to an auction. Ken Porter's auctions has a inspection date to view the items, I highly suggest you go there and thoroughly do your research. I witnessed people with tablets researching every bit of these bicycles that were up for bid. FYI, there's a $5 fee to view items in inspection only. During my inspection, I spent hours looking over every aspect of the Bicycles that needed fixing or repair vs the ones that were ride ready. Compared prices online and narrowed my choices to a few with a dollar range set. On auction day a lot of people were there, mostly for vehicles though. In the surplus room it wasn't that many. As the item numbers for bicycles came up my excitement grew. The first item was a lot of 3 bicycles and someone quickly outbid me! A few folks in the crowd were pro's. It then came up to a lot of 2 bicycles that was on my list, I placed a bid at $35 dollars and surprisingly no one else bid, I won! It's a giant bicycle that on the used market is around $180. I paid my fees and the bike was mine. Took it to a bike mechanic for a tuneup that cost $70 dollars and it looks/feels new. The people at the shop also said it was great deal. Do your research, have a alternate plans for different items, determine a dollar range based on prices, and don't forget to inspect the items. I'm also not a big fan of doing it online, when your in person, you can sense the other bidders in the room if it's going to be hot or not. Plus when they leave the room for food, drinks, restroom, or calls....that's your chance to pounce! Overall it was a great experience, learned a lot of how auctions works, and had fun on a Saturday morning. Give it a try. It is not for everyone, be warned. I would go back.

I can not believe that crooks or drug dealers don't wear real jewelry. Most likely the lots were cherry picked and the real stuff taken out before they went to auction. I called to make a complaint but never received a call back.. BIG RIP OFF. !!
