What an experience! I was a bit nervous about participating in a car auction, worried about whether I would find a reliable vehicle. However, my apprehensions quickly faded as I approached the auction lot at 11:15 AM (the gates opened at 11 AM) and was greeted by a friendly crowd. Everyone was so welcoming and social! I chatted with a mix of seasoned auction-goers and first-timers like myself, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The owner and staff were incredibly attentive, guiding me around the packed lot of vehicles and encouraging me to explore my options. They were genuinely helpful, answering all my questions with sincerity and a smile. I couldn't have asked for better customer service! When the auction started at noon, I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything flowed. They provided shaded seating, which was a nice touch, and even had complimentary water bottles to keep everyone refreshed. I did get out-bid on one car (LOL!), but I remained optimistic. Thanks to their suggestion to look around, I ended up scoring my dream car--an Infiniti! Yasss! I'm absolutely in love with it! After the auction, I headed to the office for payment, and the staff were just as helpful and friendly as before. Within minutes, I had my paperwork and keys in hand, ready to drive away. I'm thrilled I took this leap because I wanted to avoid another car payment, and my new ride is in fantastic condition. Plus, the 24-hour warranty on the transmission and overheating gave me peace of mind--no way was I going to risk any issues! If I do go back to purchase another car and ever encounter any problems down the line, I'll see if I have friends who can work on my car or if I'd like to take a crack at it myself, but with my busy schedule, I just didn't have the time to get that done this time around. For the price going to this auction, no matter what, it's worth it to me, plus the emphasis on nooooo payments lol Overall, I'm beyond happy with my decision to attend this auction. The prices for all the cars were fantastic, and the people were great. The process was seamless, and I walked away with exactly what I came for--my beautiful "infidelity baby." This place is great! Huge selection of cars, ranging from small sedans, to large SUVs, and even work vans. From what I understand, this auction had a questionable history, but is under new management as of this year. I felt ZERO hesitation throughout the whole process. The staff were all super helpful. A guy named "Shark" (great name!) went with me to test drive several vehicles. I definitely appreciate his patience as I was pretty indecisive and test drove 5 different cars, finally deciding on a 2009 Chevy Impala LT. Where do I begin... bought a car here and it had 134,000 miles on it. Cool!!!! Right?!?! Except...it didnt.....because they illegally rolled them back...oh yeah, AND TOOK MY MONEY EVEN WHEN CALLED ON IT. Let me start at the beginning: I show up to pay, cool. I had already given a $300 deposit after winning the bid. I go to pay but there are no plates at all AND the old registered tabs were expired. I asked for a temporary and Sheila (Shayla?...who is cool as shit and great at her job btw) says they dont issue them but shes kinda new and makes a call. "Come back tomorrow around 10 am and you can talk to them about it and we will get it sorted out". Cool. I grab a hotel since I didnt wanna drive back to Huntington Beach and come back in the morning as planned. I wait until about 1230 because I was told "he says he will be here in 10 minutes with the temporary plate". While waiting I pull a VIN report and lo and behold it was just picked up for auction a month prior with 235,500 miles on it!!!!!! Finally Jesus (I think that's his name. Short white fat dude with no people skills) shows up with an attitude. Tells me I'm lucky he will only charge me $35. I ask about the miles and suggest maybe we swap to a different car or something. The response "miles are irrelevant after a car is 10 years old so it doesn't matter". UHHHHHH YEAH DIPSHIT!!! IT DOES!!! ESPECIALLY THE COST OF A SUBARU TRANSMISSION. Long story short he tells me to beat it, they kept my money, and filed reports with District Attorney, US Attorney, Consumer Goods Office, and called a personal friend who's a congressman. A freind of mine referred me to this auction; I would never have found it otherwise. So let's get the bad stuff out of the way first; It's kind of out in the boonies near Jurupa Valley, and the day I went (in June) it was 107 degrees. Bring a big shady hat. It's also on a dusty lot (see picture), so bring something cold to drink. This a pretty small-time operation. Now for the good stuff; it costs you nothing to get in, you don't have to make a deposit in order to bid, and there are no fees...that's really cool. In other words, you can show up, put your hand in the air, and drive out paying exactly what you bid. If you win a car, you have to give them $200 cash as a deposit. I wish the big-time operations were as easygoing as this place! You can't drive the cars or start the engines before the bidding starts, but they're unlocked for you to inspect. Most of the cars were pretty beat up; I would say that 75 percent of them have some body damage or bad paint. But alot of them went for under $1000...that's seriously cheap. This auction also seems to be VERY honest about the cars condition. They'll tell you about the title and DMV fees and any mechanical defects they know about. The day I was there, one guy bought a Kia sedan, but when he went to drive it home, it wouldn't go into reverse at all. The auction gave him his money back. Now THAT'S an honest car dealer! So, don't come here looking for a 2016 BMW for $3000. But if you're on a limited budget, you can get a decent 10 or 15 year old car for $1500. Sounds pretty good to me. BEWARE. The saying "Too good to be true" applies here. I paid $2500 for a Nissan that literally died a week later. The Nissan dealership checked it out and told me that the engine was completely shot because it overheated (faulty thermostat). They said it wasn't a new problem and that it would have been clear to the seller. I called the Auction house and they said "sorry, you signed a document saying 'Sold as is'". This place is great! Recently found a small suv here and they are really great at providing as much information about the cars and let you know whether they're salvage or out of state or if they are behind on dmv fees before the bidding starts. Oh and all biddi gs start at $500 no matter the car, unlike other auctions. Very legitimate and way better than a recent auction place I had gone to (Blok charity auto clearance in Gardena, very shady don't go here). I definitely would recommend riverside public car auction to others. Extremely affordable and all paperwork is in order unlike other car auctions. Rip off they sold me a car with 2019 plates I went to the DMV and they told me that I owe from 2018 and the fees are $1,000 damn them the car was $2600 and now I have to invest more money into it. I told the lady at the auction place and she said there's nothing they can do even though the tags say 2019 I am responsible for 2018. The lady with tons of acne said it's basically your problem now. She was rude!!! DONT BUY FROM HERE EVER!!!!!!! They don't clearly make the the rules clear. They will take your deposit if you don't get a car they charge a $100 auctions fee they Don't keep there word. Cars don't seem that bad but they sell them higher than most auctions. It also seems that they have people bidding on car to make sure you pay what they want over all I wasn't happy because I don't like people that take advantage of others there 2 people I seem them take $200 from for no reason. Not gonna lie first day I went to check it out it seemed legit the cars were cheap and low miles one day the end of the auction I saw a beautiful 2007 Toyota Sequoia 4x4 black and thats the exact car I was looking for and so I asked for the keys to check it out and when I turned it on the odometer said 142xxx miles cool!! Rightt??! Well then I talked about it with Ed who's in charge very cool guy very chill and somewhat honest about the things and so then the next weekend on Saturday I bring the price we had arranged for the car and then we waited for the paperwork to be done and so during that process Ed tells us the price isn't what we said it's 5k and some guy named tony was on the phone I'm guessing the owner of the Toyota sequioa and so i was debating cause I had only brought what we had agreed on and a little more so I could go register it once I bought it and so we eventually agreed on a other price and we had already paid it and the auction fee to a grand total of 4.850 and i was ready to leave and everything and out of curiosity I check the vin number just incase and then I see it's a repo car and the title says odometer miles when repo'd and it said 198xxx mind you that was in 2014 it's 2022 who knows who had it after and for how long they used it and who knows the current mileage and so then I reclaimed it and I got all my money back turns out to be I see a guy come and starts taking off clusters off the cars and he goes in the back of the car and does who knows what and then he puts them back with Im guessing fake mileage so just a heads up pay the car fax instead of getting scammed for thousands pay 30 bucks and avoid getting scammed for 2k or more very fraudulent and that Toyota Sequoia is still there so just a head up people please! read more

beware !!!!! caution these people are crooks at the highest level. i went to the auction on june 10th seen a 2004 camry they advertise the car as 145k miles the speed odometer read 142k, the car had no check light on no brake light on none of the lights was on and the belts was not screaming so i bid on the car when the bid at 2500. cool beans thinking i got a great deal a camry only 2500 142k miles that's what you go to action for. i left the $300 deposit that was requested and was told to come back between 11am and 2pm. i arrive at 10:26am no one is there at 11am still no one at noon still no one 1pm someone finally shows up. it is a line already waiting in line listening to all the people in line that are having an issue with the auction place also. i am now praying i am not going to have the issues they are having, its now my turn, and i give her the balance she gives me the title and the paperwork and the keys, so me and my husband is walking to the car i am reading the paperwork and notice that at one point this car was sold and the miles on it was 214k. i go back to the window and tell her the miles is wrong and someone changed the miles and this is not the car i paid for it is 3 other customer there with the same issue one of them the miles said 132k and it really had 264k and the vin numbers did not even match. so after arguing she tell me they will give me some of my money back basically 80% and they kept 20% they did that to all of us that had an issue, that is a smooth hustle they just made a quick 2k and none of us left with an car. and to pit the cherry on top they have workers or the owners of the car you are bidding on biding against you jacking the price up of the cars they rolled back the miles on. i am not done with this place i want all of my damn money back 100% not 80% because you guys are crooks i will not stop till this is stopped and i have all my money back read more
