I took the riding class. It was great. The instructors were fantastic. They really prepared me yo not only ride a motorcycle, but also pass the test. My husband took the class through Mt Sac and said this class was better!!! It was a great positive experience. read more

Without a doubt the single best buying experience I've ever had making a major purchase. I've been in and out of shops all over So. Cal. And no where did I get the kind of service I got from Riverside H.D. The entire staff was super friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong with any of those guys but I have to recommend my guy Danny Martinez. Most sales reps I've dealt with feel like parasites tying to latch on to your neck. This dude was super cool. It was like having my own advocate on the inside. No pressure and super informative. He really knew his stuff. Then when it came down to doing the numbers it got even better. After finally finding the perfect ride, we sat down and they gave me a very fair price. The bike was much more than I expected. I was budgeting for something older and striped down. Like I said the offer was really fair but it was above my budget. I was ready to go home empty handed again. Then they simply asked what numbers I wanted. I made a ridiculous offer I full on expected to be laughed out the building. Five minutes later they accepted without even countering. Then they threw in even more stuff. We went into Kyles office (who was also super cool) signed everything then walked out to a full on celebration. If they ever put a couple beer taps in that place, I'd probably just hang out there all the time. Go there. Now. Go. read more

I bought my bike here about 3 months ago. I had received a notice for a recall about the bags and clutch. I had noticed a small oil leak from the cooler lines so I finally decided to bring in to get fixed. I made an appointment and dropped off the bike. He told me they would get back to me and let me know how long they would need the bike. Two days go by no phone call. I finally call and speak to someone's else. My advisor had gone home. He told me that they had to order parts to fix the bike and would be next week. This was a Friday. I had dropped on Tuesday. So I call the following Thursday to see the progress on parts and my advisor told me they had come in today. He told me the bike would be ready on Friday. He explained he was off, but someone would contact me when it was completed. So 6:00 pm Friday I call and ask if my bike was done because I had not received a call, the advisor told me they didn't even touch it. I was irritated at the incompetence of the service department. Lack of communication with me and getting the bike done. I called Saturday to talk to my advisor and he didn't know it wasn't done. He told me he will get on it and have it done Sunday. So after two weeks of no bike no courtesy calls or any calls from the dealership about the repairs he finally calls me on Monday. This is the worst service department I have ever dealt with. So much more I can write in detail of people I spoke too. Just trying to keep it short. I will not return for service here again. read more

Went in to inquire about pipes for our bike and spoke to Goldy. He took the time with us to compare pipes on different bikes to help us narrow down our search. We didn't feel at all like we were being rushed just for a sale. He was very knowledgeable about the products and made our experience there very pleasant. If only more companies had employees like him it sure would make shopping a much better experience all around. Thank you Goldy. read more

This review is for the H-D Riding Academy & the sales department!!! 1st off I really want to thank my Fit Specialist Chris aka "Stretch" for introducing us to Jim Bridges the day we decided to look at bikes. I've rode sport bikes years back, just never a Harley and I always had permits, just never went to DMV for that M1 license. After speaking with Jim that day, we called back that following week and signed up for the riding academy. The riding academy was excellent and very informative. A special thanks to Sherri & Dan who were my instructors, for providing all the information and training to be a safe rider. Once again I want to thank Chris aka "Stretch" for introducing us to the riding academy, if he didn't do that introduction that day. Who knows when I would of got an M1 license and be in the position to buy my 1st Harley Davidson. It's all becoming reality now, its just about waiting for my bike to come in now..... Working out the details was easy and straight forward. Excellent customer service from the Riverside Harley team!!! If your looking for a new or pre-owned Harley Davidson ask for Chris aka "Stretch" you will taken care of like family!!! read more

I started out just wanting to learn to ride and finding out about Riverside HD through a friend. I enrolled in the Harley Davidson beginner riding course and left with so much more than I though I would, including my dream bike. I am now the owner of a 2016 Street Gide Special and couldn't be happier! Jim Bridges, the training manager, and and my instructors Dave King and Paul Friedt run an excellent rider training program! I came in as a beginner and left feeling confident and prepared to ride on the roads in LA. When my schedule and wallet allow it I definitely plan on enrolling in the intermediate ridding course to better hone my ridding techniques. After the class I decided to hang around for the dealerships kickoff to the 4th of July weekend and I am glad I did. I had spoke with Tim and John in the Sales department about my longtime interest in getting a Harley when I started the course. Neither of them were around but Brandon showed up and ended up waking me through some of the questions I had come up with between the various touring models. The whole sales staff are some of the most genuine people you will ever meet when buying a vehicle. Brandon and his sales manager Hogan worked with me to get the bike I wanted within the comfort of my budget which wasn't easy! Finally Ana in financing really showed how great this dealership and the staff are. I already had settled on a price, monthly payment, and down payment but for the first time in my life a finance agent approached me and said "hey I looked over your deal and I have gone ahead and contacted the bank to get you a lower APR and shorter term." It caught me off guard so much that I didn't know what to say. Ana took the time to explain every meticulous detail of everything in the contract and answer all of my questions. It was truly the best buying experience of my life. Thank you all!!! read more

Dont waste your time with there disorganized motorcycle class. They will require you to attend at 6:30am sit outside in your vehicle while they spend a half hour trying to get the gate open for you to enter. Then you get to ride a motorcycle missing parts, its supposedly new, but its missing parts, will not start half the time and extremely difficult to put in 2nd gear. Then you have there attitude and receive a 100 page manual to read after 5 hours on the bike in the hot sun the night before another 5 hours on the bike then go immediately to take a 50 question test at there dealership even though youve already been to the DMV and passed your written test. There are other classes available elsewhere with reasonable hours not coached by smart arces that do care about you. Dont get me wrong they cared enough about how much money i spent at there dealership to send me a thank you card. Oh, you wont have to take there test elsewhere, either. Just learn to ride. read more

We went in yesterday to look around, nothing in mind (free brat day). Needless to say we left with an awesome used Ultra Glide. Working with Mike (Gordo) and Chris (Stretch) was a pleasure. The process was easy, including the credit portion. No up-selling pressure, just an all around good experience. We had a fun filled day at Riverside Harley and look forward to going back soon. read more

I don't know what to say about these guys. but don't get the VIP service if you're not going to ride the hell out of ur bike. 3 years or 30,000mi. I'm not gonna put that many miles. At 30,000 they want $1300 for an oil change. They say they clean out the brake systems. Who the hell needs cleaning after 3 years, and maybe 20,000 miles or less?. They should hand you a jar of Vaseline after you buy the bike. My stupid ass fell for that, VIP service. Should have known better than to sign a dam contract. Twenny twenny street glide special. The only thing special about that, is how much they take you for the service. I love my bike I hate dealerships. I wish I could get out of this contract I just purchased. And don't let them wash your bike when they service it because they left spots all over it. I am so sad that I'm stuck there. Shit, I am so pissed!!!... Someone please help me... If you decide to ride all those miles in 3 years then it is a very good idea for the Vip. Maybe I should give them 3stars. Because they were nice people. But I don't know, I have mixed feelings about it.We all know any dealership from anything you buy is always overpriced. I'm not saying don't go there and not purchase a vehicle. I'm just saying be careful. They do have a hell of a variety though. It is what it is,and I'm stuck. But I'm sure I'll make the best of it. I'm sure they're not as bad as some of these reviews say. Don't let my one badd experience avoid you from going there ,just be careful!.. These bikes are super expensive. so remember ,upkeep is the same. read more

I recently had my 2012 Harley Davidson Street Glide serviced at Riverside Harley Davidson . I had the pleasure of working with the Service Manager DMC. I must say that he and Riverside HarleyDavidson exceeded all my expectations in customer care and quality of work. I had some reservations in the diagnosis of my bikes issues and how much it would cost to repair. They had to come and trailer my bike from my home. I will not go into specifics. ..but I will say I was totally pleased by the DMC'S communication of the corrections that were made..and extremely pleased by the final cost. Thank you DMC and thank you Riverside Harley Davidson. W. DESIRE read more

The only reason it is not getting 5 Stars in the ridiculous mark up on the bike I bought. An educated consumer will do well in this shop, a newbe probably not so much. CHUCK my sales guy was AWESOME! Great guy and he did a fantastic job explaining the dealership and their philosophy. I absolutely love my bike and got the price I wanted. (mind you 18% cheaper than asking) Loved the way I was treated by everyone in the shop and was introduced to all the department heads. So far so good and I look forward to many years of dealing with this dealership. All thanks to CHUCK and Kevin on the sales mgr side. read more

I bought a brand new 2017 Night Rod Special back in November this year from Riverside Harley Davidson the very first time I came to this place from Huntington Beach California. I was shopping for this Night Rod at other HD Dealer in my area but I wasn't feeling good about negotiating with them until I made a call to Riverside Harley. The lady that I spoke on the phone with was very nice and helpful ( I wish I could remember her name ). When I arrived at Riverside Harley she introduced me to John Monsivaiz who took me to their off-side warehouse ( and stayed with me through the negotiations ) to show me the only one 2017 V-Rod that they had in stocks that is the Sunglo Red Night Rod Special ( this is the bike that I been looking for ). Long story short, about 2 hours later their bell rang, the song I picked played on their PA system and handshakes to me from the staffs. Beautiful feeling....when your dream came through. This was great experience for me. I really appreciate the kindness and the patients of John Monsivaiz ,Juan Sanchez, Andrew Briggs.. Just to name a few. Please keep up the good work. read more

Should be "Shyster Harley Davidson of Riverside" Their used vehicle inventory is BS! The same bikes for over two months. They claim high turn over but for 2 months come on now! It's a gimmick to get you there, once there what a disappointment. I was told by 3 different salesmen that they had plenty of the model I was looking for. When I got there they has two humble pieces of crap at top dollar pricing. The sales people are on you like ants at a picnic. As soon as you shrug off one another one pops up. You can't even look at what they do have without out someone up your butt trying to push a sale. STAY AWAY! They don't even deserve 1 star. read more

I purchased a used 03 Ultra Classic with 32000 (private party) and was concerned about a noise in my engine. i had been to the dealer several times and asked them to listen to the noise and they tried to sell me a stage 1 kit. i was informed that they would need to go into the engine to find the problem. I suspected it was the cam chain tensioner because of the milage and the reputation on the 03s for going to crap on a regular basis. i was informed that it would take 6 hours of labor @$110 an hour to get in there and check it out. i was going to get a new cam chain tensioner and chain installed just to be on the safe side. Two days later i was called and informed that my tensioner had grenaded in my engine and had damaged it and they were recommending a new engine to the tune of 47500 plus tax. i wanted to see this damage that they had discovered in my engine so i went to have a look at it so they could show me. Behold to my surprise my bike was still in one piece just the way it was when it left my house but i was informed that the Tech was a pro and he did listen to my bike and knew what was wrong with it. i decided to take my bike home. Ps i was charged $110 for a diagnostic thou, i guess because they had to listen to my bike for an hour to figure out what was wrong with it. They will never see another penny from me. i will never take any of my bikes there to be serviced. Very unscrupulous business practices all about putting money in there pockets. I was looking for a new bike and decided on a Harley. I decided to give this place a try based on prior customers and had the bike I wanted in stock after 3 others did not. I made my first Purchase of a 1200 custom. Due to some issues I had during my purchase I was contacted by management from the dealership due to some issues, he listened to my concerns and fixed the problems. I appreciate the call and he was concerned about overall experience as I was new to the harley name and told about belonging to the Harley family and being such an iconic brand, which we hear about and see. I am happy with my purchase of that bike and look forward to making some changes to it as most people do when they get a Harley but not from here. They still seem to not get things right with my registration. Only been since 10/14. I am going to take my business elsewhere. I also see reviews and they get $100 gift card. Really!! So I've been looking for months on getting a bike ! Searching very website and dealer In the area . I decide first to take the Harley Davidson riding academy at Riverside Harley first so I can get my license and test drive some of the bikes . The class was great I had not been on a bike for over 20 years and was a bit nervous about getting ion one . The instructors were great and had me feeling extremely comfortable about getting on a bike . So I got my license and having taken the class made it a breeze I only missed one question and it wasn't on the motorcycle part. I made a internet inquiry and got a call from Mary who was super nice and helpful she help me schedule a day to come in. Day of I walked into riverside Haley and there a was a row of sales guy one asked me if he could help . He help me to get to Mary . Mary introduced me to Gordo this guy is great no pressure had all the answers and was really patient . Took the bike for a test ride and as we were going back to the dealer Gordo turned around and said you need more time on the bike and took me on an extend ride as I got more comfortable on the bike I new that one was the bike I wanted . So than I met Craig and we banged out the numbers and got me to were I wanted to be with the payments . Next came manny now that guy took of all the paper work and made that part a breeze ! I can't forget all the other great people I met all the ladies in clothing area they took extra time with my wife helping pick a helmet and a nice hd shirt . Than Brent in parts went over the catalogue and how to order them ( that's going to help me a lot with all the stuff I want to do to the bike ) than Christian in service then gave me a detailed explanation on how I'm going to Care for my bike . I left here feeling like I made the right decision buying my bike from this place ! Thx riverside Harley ! read more

Taking the HD Rider Course was a good experience. I had never ridden before. I went in nervous about learning. I left with knowledge, confidence, and had a fun time. I had the best experience at Riverside Harley Davidson. Back in April 2017, after seeing my neighbor ride up on a new Harley Road King, I decided that I wanted a Harley for myself and thus, I went down to Riverside Harley and began looking at the motorcycles. Not having owned a street bike before (and/or having a motorcycle M1 License) I was informed that Harley offers a rider safety course and thus, after speaking with the lead instructor, Jim Bridges, I enrolled in the 3 Day Harley Riding Course. After I enrolled in the Harley Rider Safety Course and during the following next two weeks, I went back down to Riverside Harley many times to research and find a Harley I would like to own. I first met Hogan (one of the Sales Manager) and peppered him with many questions and surprisingly, he was very patient and helped me look at many different new Harley's (pros and cons). Ultimately, I went back down to Riverside Harley and continued with my assault of questions on the Salesman, "Gary", who like Hogan was very patient. What I liked most about Gary (including the General Sales Manager, "Rory"), is they were not afraid to tell you that a particular Harley that I had been considering (i.e., a 2017 Low Rider S) was not the right bike for me due to the position of my body while on the bike. The Salesman, Gary stated to me multiple times to go home as he didn't want to sell me a new Harley that wasn't right for me. As a result of dealing with Gary, I ended up purchasing a new 2017 Harley Softail Slim S in vivid black and could not be happier. The sales experience was not hi-pressure and Rory was straight forward and easy to work with. When I went into finance to complete my paperwork, I met with "Juan". I was at this point expecting to be hi-pressured as everything about my purchase was going "too smoothly". To my surprise, Juan was very professional and easy going and definitely not hi-pressure. I should note that I ended up purchasing my new Harley Softail Slim S before I went through the Harley Riding Course and before I had my M1 License. As a result, Riverside Harley delivered my new Harley to my home where it sat until after I completed my Harley Rider Safety Course and got my M1 License. Going through the 3 Day Harley Riding Course (4/28/17-4/30/17) with Jim and the other two Instructors (Dave and John) was well worth it and a great learning experience. I subsequently had my DMV Appointment the following week and successfully obtained my M1 License on the 1st try. After getting my license, I have been back to Riverside Harley and have found that great customer service doesn't end after the "sale" as I have I had the opportunity to deal with "Valerie" in the clothing/accessories, "Chris" in Parts (extremely helpful with getting my lights upgraded), "Steve" (my Service Advisor) who was also extremely helpful with getting all of my accessories added to my bike. Steve, also was not afraid to tell me that a particular accessory/part would not be a good idea for my new bike and finally, "Julie" (Customer Service Manager), has approached me multiple times when I have been back to the Dealership by saying hello and asking if I was still satisfied. Overall, I like the selection of new bikes Riverside Harley had to offer as well as my interactions with all those I referenced above at Riverside Harley. I would highly recommend this dealership. Thank you!!! read more

My experience with Harley Davidson riverside staff has left a bad taste in my mouth for two weeks calls and emails about trying to sell me bikes I don't want . I inquired about left over V-rods shows in there inventory 10 for the last two weeks. Had a female sales personnel last week called me trying to sell me a break out. I was. checking on a V- rod waited for a call back about left over V-rods nothing . Today I called spoke with a young lady inquired about the V- rods again claiming they have two in a deal what that means clueless to me. Keep getting lies and BS that a red flag there . False advertisement and lies is one way to lose a customer . Till this day I keep getting emails from Wendy and Kevin trying to get my business . At this point if your advertising a vehicle you clearly don't have then take it down from your web site and clearly state you don't have it and stop sending emails and calling trying to sell other bikes your dealership trying to move out of your inventory. At this point Biggs and San Diego harley is my next option . read more

My husband and I came in as returning customers the other day. We were looking for a used bike to purchase. We didn't like that none of the used bikes had pricing on them except for a few that were marked as managers specials. We were greeted by a salesman who was very helpful in helping us find out pricing and we found the bike that we wanted to get. We went inside, filed out the credit application. After about 40 minutes of waiting, we were introduced to a sales manager who brought in our offer. He had marked the bike up $3000 more than what we were told by the salesman who had asked that same sales manager what the price was! And on top of that the sales manager tried to sell us a more expensive new bike when we were clear on our budget from the beginning. What kind of practice is this? Tell me a price, run my credit then mark it up $3000! After some back and forth they dropped the price back down almost to what they originally told me then added another $1000 because of a multi point inspection they do on used bikes. This was never mentioned and I caught it as I was reading the last offer they gave me. After over 2 hours, my husband and I walked out. This completely turned me off from purchasing another bike from Riverside Harley. Like I said, I was a returning customer and I have referred several people who have also purchased bikes here. I will no longer be referring people here either. read more

The CMSP Motorcyclist Training Course from Riverside Harley Davidson was perfect. As someone who use to be a full time rider "back in the day" I was genuinely happy to be taking this course seeing as how it's been forever since I'd been on one. They each took their time with the students and were very patient with all of us. Can't recommend them enough. read more

Came in being naive and too trusting, left with more knowledge than I had initially bargained for. Visiting this dealership for the basis of knowledge on how much their least expensive motorcycle was became more of a learning experience on not to be too trusting with individuals for information and learning the hard way via them running my credit without my knowledge. I walked into this Harley Davidson located within Riverside and was greeted by an associate. That within itself was great, however what pursued afterwards when I had asked what was the least expensive bike, should of been the first and last red flag to just walk away. The associate led me to a motorcycle and we went through the whole "hop on and smile, it looks great on you" and after that his manager by the name of "Shroder" approached us and introduced himself. We got through mutual conversation and before anything else perused I asked the simple question again "how much is the least expensive motorcycle?". I had believed that them being associated with Harley Davidson, they surely would be able to give me the answer right then and there, however this was not the case! The answer they gave me was "well let's do some paperwork and we'll be able to tell you how much it is for certain!". That was indeed the first red flag and one of many! After that the associate took me to a table and he pulled out a form in which he was reluctant to show me what exactly it was, and insisted that he would fill it out for me. Unfortunately me being young and mal-informed, I went along with this and gave them all the information they wanted, just for me to find out how much the motorcycle was. This was my mistake and they took full advantage of my ability of being mal-informed on credit and much more to get me to sign off on a credit check I didn't even know I was approving. They asked for my social security which me being as stupid as I was gave it to them, as well as my debit card. After a couple of signatures that they also requested via this entire process I had an overwhelming feeling of just sheer ignorance and I felt as if I had let the manager and the associate have their way with me and they did because I gave them total control of me on not knowing that all I could've done was just say no and walk out. But me being respectful and caring too much about other individuals and respectfully wanting to avoid complications lead me into having negative consequences by them sending my information to multiple banks and negatively affecting my credit, then being insulted later on with this whole scenario. "Shroder" the manager did come back and sat down with me now instead of the associate and finally after all this trouble he gave me the price of a bike. After just talking all these numbers he had asked me if all of it sounded good and I just sat there questioning what I just signed to figure out why I had to go through all that for finding out what the cheapest motorcycle was. I just told him everything was fine and he asked me "well are you willing to purchase the bike then" and I replied with the question of why I had to sign all those documents. He had then told me it was for a credit check and that because I had signed off on it all voluntarily however keep in mind they would not tell me the price of the bike before hand and persisted that the only way I could know the price was to let them fill out the paperwork with all my information he had already gone through and sent my information out to banks to see which best monthly payment I could afford on the bike. I sat there simply appalled and feeling like I was robbed of everything imaginable. I then told him how I was dissatisfied and he took it by giving me a response and saying "well what if I lowered the monthly payment on this bike to $150?". I then just still sat there in appall with how far me wanting to just know the price on a bike became a full blown negotiation on how much I'll be wanting to buy it for on monthly payments and how he still took it as me wanting a bike. After the thought and before I could respond the manager responded for me and said "ah yeah you would take something as low and fucking stupid as that I see how you are now!". That within itself just wasn't what I had expected him to say and after a few more words I walked towards the exit with the associate I initially saw and talked to. However just before I left out of curiosity I wanted to see if there was any indication of a price tag on the bike and after a simple opening of a pamphlet on the bike with the associate behind me he had the face and just a body posture of feeling disappointed and feeling like a dirty salesperson. I just replied with "wow the price was right here all along", then I proceeded to walk out after having my time wasted for roughly 3 hours and having my credit negatively effected. read more
