My husband was pre-approved for a car loan and we contacted this dealership about a specific vehicle that was clearly listed online at a set price. Shortly after his approval went through--but before we even came in--the dealership raised the price on their website. It felt misleading and left us disappointed, so we decided not to move forward with the purchase here. He ultimately went to Courtney Ford in Conyers and made a great deal for a Mustang instead. If I ever consider coming back to this dealership, I'd recommend avoiding pre-approval first, because in my experience the price might increase right after approval to make the "original" number look like a discount later. I brought my 2011 Ford Fiesta in for a recall notice regarding child door lock issues and back windows not working. They had it for most of the day which was no issue as they provide courtesy service ( their courtesy shuttle drivers are amazing. The only positive thing about this visit). I was called by my service manager, Tasha Wheeler, letting me know they needed to order parts for my he doors and I would need to bring my car back. She gave me a quote for fixing the windows which was not covered under the recall. I declined that repair at this time. When I arrived to pick up my car I was told there was a $165 diagnostic fee. I was never advised of the fee when I dropped it off nor when she called me later in the day. I did let her know of my disappointment in that matter and she could have cared less. Needless to say I paid the fee. I had to wait about 20 minutes for them to bring my car around in spite of them being done with it for over an hour. When the technician brought it up, I couldn't pull the seat forward enough for me to drive it ( I'm a short gal). After several attempts to do so, another technician arrived, plopped his partially open Mt. Dew in my drivers seat and started pulling. After a while he determined it was "wear and tear" and no offer was made to fix it. I've had people drive my car that pushed the seat back and had no issues getting it forward again. The lack of care at this dealership service department is very disappointing. I've always been a Ford driver but this has definitely tarnished my trust in them. I will not be returning and will get my doors fixed at another Ford dealer. Very sad. read more

I had my car towed there to fix a free recall part, they recharged me for that part, charged me for a loaner that was supposed to be free, a row that they broke down in, my car was kept well over a month, i got it back dirty, my personalized mats were stolen and replaced with factory dull mats turned upside down. And when i emailed the General Manager Ms. Lindsay T. Hopkins, she dismissed me, my concerns of fraud and being wrongfully charged, along with the poor customer service that i had received. She told me her personal business that she was in the hospital with her sick father as if to solicit sympathy from a paying customer, that was none of my business. Now 2 weeks later i still have not heard back from her. The managers there rold me a bull story about my charges and to appease me offered to pay for my customized mats that were stolen. DO NOT LOOK FOR PROFESSIONALISM FROM THIS FORD DEALERSHIP, DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR, NOR GET YOUR CAR SERVICED AT THIS DEALERSHIP, they are UNLAWFUL and doing illegal charges under the Ford brand. I went to trade a Ford Mustang for a Ford Bronco, and mentioned that I was interested in trading my GMC Canyon in on an F-150 since the finance rate was 1.9%. My salesman Ches was not interested in helping us out at all, and basically told us a deal was undoable. He looks like he is 15 years old, so I had issues with his experience from the get-go. He was not interested in selling me a vehicle with a great credit score. We left and went to Jeff Smith Ford in Byron and left with 2 new vehicles. I really don't know if it was Riverside Ford, or lack of interest from Ches to make a deal. Thank God for the folks at Jeff Smith that knew I was SERIOUS ABOUT MAKING A 2 vehicle purchase today. I left happy with 2 new vehicles and got the 1.9% percent financing from Ford Motor Credit and was able to get 6% on the Bronco with $13,000 down for the trade on the Mustang. This kid needs to be fired. Typical Millennial that thinks he doesn't need to even attempt to answer questions or help people to get what they're requesting. read more

TLDR: Very unprofessional and rude. Do not buy from here, definitely worth the journey to go to Atlanta for a better experience. Completely unimpressed with my experience at this dealership. Recently went to purchase a Lincoln Navigator. First, I arrived to find that the dealership had no parking available to its customers. Second, the salesman that approached me showed me a navigator outside and the paper on the side of car detailing features and the price. The paper was hard to see due to the rain so he just wiped off the area with the price and pointed to it to insinuate I probably didn't have the money. After showing me the price and me agreeing to the fact that it was within my budge he still proceeded to show me used cars despite the fact that I had stated I only wanted a new car. Next he took me inside after my insistence because I didn't want to stand in the rain. He didn't have a brochure so he printed one out so small I could barely read it. He began to price the car out for me, and try to come up with a payment plan but at this point I still hadn't even seen the car I was trying to buy. He couldn't tell me any information about the car and the versions of the navigator that were available. Next he continued to ask me about my credit and profession, not seeming to believe that I could afford this vehicle. Eventually I could see we weren't getting anywhere and he was just pressuring me to make money moves that day without telling me any information about the car so I left, and I left him a list of questions I had for him to follow up with me in an email. I called him a few days later after not receiving an email and he had said that I should google the information. After that, I decided I would just take my business to Atlanta. Because how can a car salesman just be so completely clueless, unprofessional, and rude. read more

Holy cow. Took my sick pony to RFL service for warranty work. I have had to go through Ford Consumer Complaint Department to try and resolve RFL's decisions on labor and fees. I should have read the Yelp reviews of Riverside Ford Lincoln before I took my car to them. Thought a dealer would work within the framework of a warranty company, which is what I was told upfront by Gabby before I had the car towed there. To her benefit, Gabby has been very polite and tried to work with me, but she is apparently getting pressure from somewhere else with in the dealership to not resolve this situation amicably. Charging me over 4 hours of labor, which is over $600 more than approved labor times according to AllData and Mitchell manuals for the repairs needed. I'm not a mechanic but to charge: 1) $125 to pressure wash the engine, the engine should be cleaned during the repairs being performed. 2) $250 of overlap charges, doing the same thing twice. 3) 1 1/2 hours of diagnostics to diagnose a leak. I was communicating between RFL service and Zurich warranty company (both telling me the other is lying to me). I asked Gabby to send information to Zurich and copy me and she said she would. But before that happened, I received a call from Tanya who is apparently above Gabby on the RFL food chain that they (RFL) were done communicating with warranty company and that I needed to pay the extra money or come get the car tomorrow (today). As of now, I'm pending with Ford Consumer Complaint Department. Talked to Ann there and she was very understanding and helpful. Maybe we can resolve this, maybe not. Either way I will not have a car serviced here in the future, nor will I purchase a car here in the future, nor will I recommend that anyone buy a car here in the future. Eventually I will own an F-150 but not from Riverside Ford Lincoln. read more

If I could give 0 Stars I would. I took my truck to get repaired there and they did a TERRIBLE job. I had no other choice but to go local to where they told me. The doors would not shut properly, the paint was over sprayed, and would not drive straight. I tried to contact a sales person as well while I was there and would NOT get a call back. This is a terrible dealership and I will NOT be going back AT ALL. I sent an email to the general manager and..... crickets... no response. Awful experience. My dad recently passed away so my husband and I are trying to help my Mom find a new car. We found what looked to be a great deal online for a new Explorer. We called the dealership to confirm the deal as well as 0% financing that was advertised. We then drove 2 hours to go purchase her car. When we arrived they increased the price by 6,000 dollars and tried to tell us that 0% expired at midnight that night and she was going to have to finance for 1.9%. I had a great experience purchasing my F-150 from RFL. I live in Conyers and attempted to find my preference locally but was told I would either have to wait on the 2021 models or take what they had on the lot. I searched the Riverside webpage and found my F-150 with dealer and Ford discounts. Since I live in Conyers I didn't want to make any unnecessary commutes to Macon. The sales and financing departments were able to secure the advertised discounts and Ford financing at a competitive rate. My new F-150 was delivered to my house the next morning. The sales manager came to help deliver it and walk me through setting up the Ford Pass and showing me all the bells and whistles included in my option package. The overall experience was good and I couldn't be happier with my new truck. read more

By far one of the worst customer service experiences, I've dealt with. The service department either didn't answer their phones or didn't have an answer to the status of my car. My car spent over a month in the service department and wasn't touched. Even after the manager of the service department assured me it was being handled. On top of that I was charged for my car to sit and collect dust. I would highly recommend thinking twice before utilizing their service department. Not a good service department. Awful service department. Called the day before, told them what was happening. Thought I had made an appointment. Got there a few minutes before 8 am. Turned my truck over to the service dept. The girl asked if I wanted a ride home, I told her I'll wait til I know what the diagnosis was. I also wanted an oil change, and to inspect my brakes. I knew they had to do a diagnose a issue. They moved my truck almost immediately. I assumed they were working on my truck. 4 hours later, a tech asked me what my truck was doing. They just started to look at my truck. Nothing had been touched. You would have thought that someone could have told me it was going to be a couple of hours, they could have told me that at 8:30 maybe. But after 12, lunch time, they told me it was first come first serve. And for the diagnosis I needed to leave my truck over night. Needless to say, after waiting for over 4 hours and nothing, let me repeat - nothing, done to my truck, I was a little upset. It was time to leave, and take my truck somewhere worth my time. Was referred here by a car buying service. The purpose of using the car buying service was to avoid pushy salesmen and stressful negotiations. The first thing that happened was that I was contacted by a woman named Lindsey literally within 30 minutes of signing up for the car buying service. She immediately tried a bait and switch by talking very quickly while going over the quote and stating that the car was a manual transmission, even though the car buying service had sent her a quote with an automatic transmission. When I called her on it, she doubled down, stating that what she received stated manual transmission. She must not have known that I received a copy of the same e-mail. I told Lindsey that I was using a car buying service to avoid pushy salesmen and that I wished to present an offer to her and she could get back to me with a yes or no answer. She listened to my offer and said she would call me back with an answer. Instead I got a call back from a pushy salesman. At that point I ended all contact with the dealership. read more

drove all the way from Albany to purchase a used vehicle that I had already looked up on cargurus and talked with the sales man over the phone before making a 90 mile trip to purchase the vehicle. the sales an had already offered to sell me the vehicle for less than the asking price before I ever came to the dealer ship. once I got to the dealership I test drove the vehicle and liked it enough to make an offer. I had even mentioned I wanted some extra stuff done to the vehicle before I bought it before I even left to travel to macon. when I arrived a riverside ford the sales man had already had the service work performed on the vehicle in anticipation of us making a deal and me buying the vehicle. when he and I sat down together I made an offer which he took to his sales manager for approval. his sales manager came back over to see me and we talked some more about the deal and he approved the deal. at this point all we had to do was fill out the paper work and I pay them for the vehicle. then the sales manager and the sales man came back over to me after about 15 minutes and said the general manager would not discount the vehicle at all. he wanted the full asking price plus all adv taxes, and $599 extra profit called DOC fees added on to the deal. so needless to say my wife and I got in our car and drove the 90 miles back home. so all I can say I buyer beware before you attempt to purchase any vehicle from riverside ford lincoln read more

I'm from Michigan, I was on my way back home from Florida. I was traveling with just my dog and my car started acting up. I knew before my trip I had taken it in and had work done, so I was extremely upset and in tears when this happened. My dad told me to just stop at the nearest dealer and talk to them. When I got there I was created at the front door by the kindest man (who's name I can't remember) he took me over to Debbie and she started asking me what was wrong and I broke down in tears, again. She assured me over and over that she was going to help me and get me back on the road. She and everyone else here made me feel very comfortable and welcome. DO NOT get vehicles serviced here. The are the most incompetent "mechanics" and biggest cheats you will ever encounter. On multiple occasions I brought my vehicles in for service. Not once did it go smoothly. They need you to drop the vehicle all day just for an overpriced oil change. They replace parts until the whatever problem you have seems to go away. You always will have to bring your vehicle back in after they "fix it" because it was never actually fixed. They have no clue what they are doing. They took advantage of me I'm living on a fixed income and they charged me $3600.00 for nothing. I drove my car to the dealership to have my oil change after a few hours they came and told me that I had no transmission fluid in my car and every gasket on my engine was leaking. The person working there said if I didn't repair these problems at that time my transmission and engine will stop working. They had me scared so I told them ok then I picked up my car and it was no different then when I drove it in. I feel like they didn't do the work they just took my money.
