You can rent unique, furnished apartments at The Haven right along Lake Michigan. The Haven is in walking distance to some of Algoma's great food and drink such as Skaliwags, Von Stiehl winery, and Ahnapee brewing. We stayed only one night in the two bedroom suite. It was fully furnished, including amenities and a fully equipped kitchen! We absolutely loved the decor and loved staying there. Sara was a wonderful host. We hope to return soon. PS - pet friendly!

I enjoyed sitting on the balcony having my morning coffee while enjoying the lake view. It had a nice living room, and the bedroom had a comfortable bed. I couldn't have been happier. It was less than a five minute walk to the grocery store and restaurants. I am hoping to visit again next October. Thank you Sara for my wonderful visit.

Jordan screwed up the contract and when confronted about it saying industrial property vs commercial property, Jordan said there was not any difference in the two. when finally calling the search engine and finding out our property was never listed and never requested to be listed I confronted Jordan and Jordan cancelled my contract. saying my idea of selling commercial property and his were different. Jordan's ideas were listing the property in the Green Bay newspaper and waiting for someone to come to him. he lied, covered up and cheated me out of a sale. when asking Mark the owner about all this, Mark yelled at me like i was a child and told me good luck in the future. this is a terrible company with low ethics realtors.

I had high hopes when applying for an apartment with this company. I submit my applications, paid…read morethe $30 application fees and even got ahold of the guy right away. That's when it went downhill. I called and texted them every few days. No response. after two weeks of being in the dark about my application, the guy texts me the number for his associate. I called him, he told me he hasn't looked at the applications so he would call me back. Another week went by. Finally I call the reception line for their real estate business and demand an answer. 20 minutes later I finally receive a text letting me know that I am not qualified to rent their apartment. what a waste. So unprofessional. I thought it was a scam to collect application fee money and run.

The maintenance team does a good job at being quick yet thorough and the office staff are so kind, i love them!! UPDATE: They definitely sold my personal information to third parties (pic for proof)…read more I have left a personal, handwritten note at every place I lived at since 2009. Telling them thank you for the good hospitality, friendship, community, etc. This will be the first place I don't leave a note for. That alone should say something. I was living there for 3 years. Paid my rent on time every month. Then all of a sudden out of nowhere, they said you got to go. I still don't know why. I asked them at least five times. They never responded back. They gave me the State minimum 28 days to move out. I told him that wasn't enough time but they said that was firm. I had to leave behind my bed frame, mattress, and couch, among so much more stuff. I would predict 35% of my own personal belongings I had to leave behind because they said I had to be out by noon, no exceptions. I told them I needed more time. My mom and I couldn't lift half of the stuff into the truck by ourselves so we left it behind. The stuff that we could have carried, it was too late. They were already knocking on the door at noon and saying get out. How they got 4.3 stars is beyond me. They must've paid people (which is illegal). This place is the absolute worst. My kitchen sinks once flooded and it took them 6 days to actually come look at it and 9 days to actually fix it. I had to carry nasty sink water with pots and pans to my bathtub for at least 6 days. Got no sleep. I would immediately jump up in the middle of the nights when I heard the sinks overflowing again. On top of all of this, the neighbors are constantly loud and the hallways reek like marijuana. This place is horrible. DO NOT MOVE HERE. I promise you...I have lived at many places in my adult years. This was the absolute worst. Nothing compared to this place. It's horrible. Focus Properties is horrible. They just want your money. They do not care about you. Do not move here. They didn't even ask me for a forward address for my security deposit. And I'm a cleaner. I have gotten almost all of my security deposits back. I assume they're just not giving it to me (never got 1 penny back for the record). I can't even begin to explain how bad this place is. Worst place I've ever lived at. Hopefully that says something. Never again, Focus Properties. All this company cares about is money. They don't give a f*ck about you. Look elsewhere.
