Well, let me start off saying that my wife booked a weekend getaway here, looking for a reasonable rate for Egg Harbor and its position at the bottom of the finger, we can drive up and hop from winery to winery. Very Clean under new Ownership in 2013, disregard old reviews. We had the pleasure of meeting Randy the manager, The owner and his wife our first night in and what a pleasant bunch...we were invited for a Limo ride to a wine event at one of the local winery's for the next day! How great is that...right place at the right time! The room is quaint and nostalgic yet updated -if your looking for Kohler this is not the place for you, if your looking for some good old fashion Wisconsin hospitality and to stay someplace that was established by one of Pabst Blue ribbons founders this is for you. When you first pull up you are like wow this place is an old brick building, we were pleasantly surprised with our room (301), as you will see in the photos we attached. I also noticed room 310 is haunted after my wife booked the reservation, Only my wife could make this mistake- she hates scary movies...let alone real ghosts.. A great place to begin your wine tour....30 minutes to Green Bay for shopping, yet nice to get away from all the hustle and bustle, Fishing and boating nearby, and Good Food. Randy makes a killer Pizza. Met tons of Packers fans staying here to avoid all the hustle and bustle in Green Bay. The food is very reasonable as well as the drinks. The reason I did not give a 5 star experience, service is a bit slow when the place was packed on Sat Night, We didn't mind...

We got in very late, we called for the front desk person and he was there in a split second. Absolutely loved the place. We enjoy being at places that give you a feel of the earlier years. This place is gorgeous and defiantly brings you back to the 1900's. We were in room 210, which was part of Mr. Kurstens room where he passed away. As we are avid paranormal geeks, we didn't have any personal experiences, but enjoyed the rich history! We hope to be back during peak season. We'd love to spend sometime in the bar! Thanks for the wonderful visit!!!

I met the owner Bob at check-in and he couldn't have been friendlier. My room was clean with plenty of hot water and towels. The WiFi and cable worked very well. My room had a small fridge and a microwave. After dinner I sat on their deck and watched the sun set with a glass of bourbon. The next morning I had the included breakfast which was delicious. Waffles, eggs, sausage patties, donuts and Door County coffee. There were many other options for breakfast as well. WOW If you are like me and pass through Algoma on your way to Door County, stop and check out this nice little town and Scenic Shore Inn.

A rare mom n pop motel that is clean and maintained. Rooms are ready by 1:00 p.m. and there is a cold breakfast in the office. By cold I just mean they aren't able to have waffle irons and hot food due to space and state regulations the owners quickly told me, although I didn't ask. There is a small table and two chairs outside of every room to sit and enjoy the view and the cool fresh air off the lake. There are no negatives from the owners but just be aware located on a state highway it's very noisy late into the night with trucks and motorcycles racing and many cars that don't seem to have mufflers in the area, an oddity I suppose.

Probably the best place I've ever stayed at evaaar. Not even exaggerating. I'll tell ya why,…read moreready??! Check in, seamless. Rooms ready. The lady that got us checked in was so polite and informative. My dad is a member of the club so he knew, but she had no problem going over the amenities and near by fun stuff with me. Even recommended a great place for us to go tomorrow. Rooms, we got three, they're big. My parents room is huge. Value for the price is here. Most places are cramped and tight. This place is giant. I can easily work out in the morning inside the room to beach body cardio blast and I have to move my couch at my own house, not here. The room smells great, the fridge is ice cold, beds are soft. Pool rules are awesome. There's a bar in the hotel, not busy, not the hippest spot, but if I was here with a group of fun folks, I'd be drinking them dry and loving it. Pool had a big beach ball, pool table, packman game, hot tub that was really hot surprisingly. The vaulted ceilings are cool too. Breakfast till 10, all day and night strong coffee. Keep going?.... Ok I will!!! So what prompted me to write this review was the night desk fella, Mathew I believe. I came out of the pool and just flew in today. We had a few beers poolside and I didn't have a lighter, but wanted to go smoke outside. I asked him for a light and he said that he bought some for guests specifically for this situation lol So I borrowed his Green Bay packers lighter and when I brought it back, he said keep it, because he knew what I was going through with the traveling .... My mind literally exploded a bit. Such a kind gesture. I stayed here about 6 years back and nothings changed. They're still super friendly and well run. Plenty of parking, almost zero highway noise, well maintained, and staffed by as I described, real people, with big hearts and good work ethic. Wish there was one of these where I live, maybe one day...
