The spa in this room sits upstairs with a view that is priceless. We woke up and heard a little knock, when we opened the door we found a cart with breakfast was made to suite, like we were the King and Queen! Yogurt Parfait, strawberry shortcake waffles, fresh fruit, fresh flowers and so much more! WOW..... Actual brand name Keurig coffee pods, tea and custom cups IN my room! I have never been in a BNB where the cable channels were free! There was a journal book in the room for guests and people wrote in it about their experiences at the BNB and a few of the stories brought tears! This most recent time, I got a Rice Bowl that had crispy shredded tofu...it was delicious. There's an awesome deck on the back side for outdoor seating, and a few seats out front too. Both times I've visited, we sat outside. It's in my top tier of places to eat in Door County. Like I said, if you are not a vegan or vegetarian, don't be scared off by the fact that most of the menu is meatless -- with flavors like this, it doesn't matter.

We had no pre-conceived notions going up to this property except for a Victorian vibe with a breakfast and private bathroom and cleanliness. The Rochester Inn delivered big! They hit it out of the park. The two-story suite we had was quaint with nice touches: keurig coffee maker, basket of assorted k-cup selections to choose from, wet bar, televisions upstairs and downstairs, a bookshelf with lots of books to peruse, DVDs in a glass cabinet in the hallway, large jetted tub that comfortably fit my almost 6 ft. frame, and my partner's 6'5" frame, aromatic bath salts, lots of towels, and a comfortable four poster queen bed. The service was exceptional. The proprietor delivered our breakfast to our room and it was phenomenal. There was a crock of herbed eggs with Canadian bacon on the bottom, fresh fruit assortment, a flaky croissant with a yummy apple cinnamon jam, and orange juice. I think something else was included, but I can't remember. We were extremely pleased with this unexpected B&B choice and highly recommend it for any couple's getaway or a treat yourself weekend! He and I have been living in Green Bay for almost four years and have unfortunately, never had the chance to visit Door County. So, we thought this would be the perfect opportunity. We actually ended up getting engaged during our second day there so it now has an absolute special place in our heart. We were greeted upon arrival by one of the owners with hot coffee. She was very welcoming and took us to our room, Quite Rose, and showed us a short tour of the room. She asked if we came for any special reason and we told her we were just looking to relax, go whine tasting, and out to a nice dinner. She immediately had suggestions for both and even let us borrow menus for the restaurants for the next few days which was extremely helpful. She let us know we could call her at anytime for anything, but was happy to let us be with our key. And the next day, their were freshly baked muffins in the "lobby" along with the coffee - awesome surprise. We absolutely loved the room! The bed was one of the most comfortable things I have ever had the honor to sleep on, the whirl tub was big enough to fit two, and the fire place was an amazing touch (although it kept the room very warm, but that isn't a problem since we can control the thermostat and with an open window, its no problem). And the food, the food! Breakfast both days was out of this world. We were able to request what time we wanted it delivered and one of the owners simply knocked on the door to say good morning and left so we were able to get it when ready. They also asked if we had any preferences for food or food allergies, but we had none. About an hour before it would be delivered, we could smell the most amazing smell wafting up to our room of fresh baked breakfast. The first breakfast was blueberry pancakes, bacon, and fruit with coffee and the next breakfast was scrambled eggs, cubed potatoes, sausage, English muffin, and blood oranges. So versatile, but both equally delicious. Left us feeling very full, but not heavy. They even noticed my fiance uses quite a bit of creamer in his coffee so they gave us more the next day. Definitely gourmet breakfast!!! The details were impeccable, the room and house were very cozy, and the owners were incredibly hospitable and welcoming. Will most definitely be back.

We were greeted with home made cookies and offered wide range of delicious drinks by Donna, followed by a tour of the house when Donna and Mike shared with us the history of the house, it immediately impressed my husband and I how much they love to host their guests and how much they love the place. They have VERY high standards for themselves on the experience they want their guests to have. They have everything you could ever need on a trip ready for you where/when you need it, Mike even offered me a leg pillow! The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. The next morning, our breakfast was egg ham croissants, rhubarb shortcakes and grapefruits, all sorts of beverages options, and to top it off, each of us were given a piece of freshly baked pastry for our long drive back to Chicago. Rocks Landing (good food see my other review) is a restaurant across the street affiliated with the resort. Unfortunately they only took walk-ins on their outside, un-covered patio, there were no reservations indoors and it was still raining. Patty called the chef and arranged for their first ever take out order. We even got a bottle of wine and had a delicious, private gourmet dinner in front of the original stone fireplace in the lodge. Outstanding hospitality. I will bicycle and stay here again. Oh and they let us spot an overnight bag at the resort so we didn't have to carry our clothes and toiletries on the bikes.
