He was parked and sitting in his car not at the door like he said. There was 2 Lexington van between us so I had no idea he was there. We then went into the apartment where 2 maintenance men we're working. I was on my own after that the person that was suppose to be showing me just stood there talking with the maintenance man that was there. Not very helpful and definitely not professional. Makes me wonder how your treated after you signed a lease. Put a lot of questions in my mind and it made me go find something else. For example, I gave my 60-day notice to vacate on the 1st, and since they don't work on the weekends, I had to do my final walk-thru on the 31st, BUT YET had to pay the next month's rent for the 1st-12th AND got charged a late fee of (2) $50 fees for being "late" for paying only the prorated amount for the 1st-12th that I was responsible for. Since I didn't pay the "full amount" and then get reimbursed at the end of the month when getting my deposit back, I still got charged these "late fees". They are CROOKS! Lexington Management should be ashamed of themselves for having a Corporate policy like that! DO BETTER and start really "taking care of" your future, current, and previous tenants. I will never ever rent from them again and HIGHLY encourage ANYONE TO NEVER RENT from them and GIVE your hard-working money to them! They're inflexible, greedy, and inconsiderate to their residents! Please save yourself from this unnecessary financial and mental stress!!!

The condo was beautiful, except for the scary clown artwork. The condo seems to be a new build, with great appliances. The beds were comfortable and the condo was clean. Communication with Simple Life was good. I received several emails with instructions for check in, garbage service, and check out. The condo is centrally located in Door County. The indoor pool is nice but they seemed to be making improvements to the outdoor pool, which was closed. It claimed to have a fitness center but it only had 4 pieces of equipment. The only negative things I can say about the condo was that is wasn't stocked with many necessities. I would suggest bringing your own towels. We were given 6 for 7 people. We couldn't find any dish towels. They had plenty of dinnerware but the coffee cups were tiny( more like espresso cups, so bring your own). There is a limited amount of serving dishes. We were given two dishwasher pods and laundry pods( once again, bring your own) and one roll of paper towels. There's no Kleenex provided. So while the place is lovely, just know that you will have to bring in some items. And the previous guests left there garbage in the garage. I communicated this to Simple Life and they responded immediately. I didn't want to be blamed for that. Overall, this is a clean, comfortable, centrally located condo. We would stay again and use Simple Life in the future.

Bigelow rentals seems to get a lot of flack but I will say I've been renting through them for a few…read moreyears and I've found no problems (East Depere). If I call for something to be taken care of like wasp nests or a garage door not opening they are out there that day. If I have lease questions they may have to call me back but they do...that day. I've had to be late on rent a few times just for basic life things coming up, and while I did owe the $40 fee they were very pleasant, no questions asked. It's embarrassing to have to do so that was a relief. I will say a big downside is that their office is only open Monday - Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and that consists of less than 40 hours a week...not very convenient.

Imagine having to walk around that every single day on your way out of your apartment. Every time you pull out of your parking spot or go on a walk, you are reminded of what you also witnessed, which was the case for my partner and I. Now- there were many other things going on in this apartment building that we're not being addressed. From a tenant housing a sexual offender off the lease, to neighbors violating quiet hours on a daily basis for the two years we lived there and NOTHING being done.. this fully impacted my partner.
