Went to demo a Jeep Wrangler unlimited. It was loaded with many aftermarket parts, including light bars, spotlights, suspension... Price was about average for this currently overpriced market. They didn't have any of the paperwork for their operations, but this wasn't deal breaker. Stay away from the finance guy with the tattoos. His ego and pride are more important to him than you or even the business he works for! I was sold on a 23k vehicle and went to this person to finalize the deal. He had added fees that were not adding up because they hide fees that he claims " every dealer charges " but was omitted in the add and prior conversation with the salesman. When I questioned these fees the finance parson got very aggressive and standoffish. I told him I was going to walk, and his words were " that's fine with me". I said, "you sound broken up about it" and his response was " I'm not"! He then followed me into the showroom from his office and tried to confront me while I was speaking to the salesman. He then got in my face and after I showed him, he wasn't intimidating me walked off calling me a f'ing D'head as he walked into the main office. Do NOT Deal with these people! Bait and switch practices. Completely unprofessional salesman. Negotiated a deal, for my parents with Becky. Becky was receptive, attentive and very easy to work with. I was instructed to have my parents ask for Becky or Julio (salesman) when they went in to sign the paperwork. When they went in the next day, Julio was unavailable due to an emergency and my parents were asked to work with Mark or Mario. I was unable to get his name when he called me to help with translations. This salesman altered the deal and tried to add additional charges that were already negotiated. When we did not accept his request for additional funds, the salesman then in classic bait and switch fashion, no longer had the automobile we discussed the previous day. Magically the only vehicles available were a either a vehicle with less features, for the same money, or one that cost more. After it was stated that we would continue our business at another dealer who had the vehicle we desired, at the price we desired, this individual rudely threw my father's driver's license at him and told him to go elsewhere. My car is not even two years old and it has rust marks on the drivers side and the clear film coating on the front grill is peeling. I spoke with Ken, the service manager and he's trying to tell me the plastic coating is peeling from the external environment.... meaning a rock.... I've never seen a chip peel!!!! 4 years ago, I came here looking for a new Versa. From the time I met the sales rep, I couldn't help but feel like he wasn't genuine, and couldn't be trusted. However, I tried to ignore it because I wanted the Nissan Versa so badly. The one I wanted was buried behind a line of cars so while I waited, they had me test drive the same car in another color. I loved every second of the test drive, and it confirmed that this was the car for me. Despite the fast talking, even when I tried asking clarifying questions, I just couldn't wait to drive my new Versa SL home. Everything was going well, I got approved for a really low interest rate, and they were finishing up with cleaning the car for me while we finished the paperwork. As I was sitting with the manager, literally with pen in hand about to sign the paperwork, the sales rep ran in, quickly said "I told you it has crank windows right?" And started to briskly leave the room. Unfortunately in my own lack of knowledge, I had not realized that dealerships still make new cars with crank windows. So I tried not panic, explained that since the car I test drove had normal button windows, and he'd told me it was the exact same car, I'd had no reason to doubt it. The manager had him leave and apologized, but when I asked for him to help me with one that has normal windows, it turned out that they did not have one in the color I wanted. Which was devastating because I had done the research online prior to coming, and had shown the paperwork to the sales rep when I first entered and told him I wanted that exact car. Long story short, I ended up settling with a certified pre owned car at another Nissan dealership, even though I'd had my heart set on getting my first new car, because it was the only one I could find in the color and with the perks built in that I wanted, and have had nothing but grief from Nissan ever since with their service employees. The only reason I'm taking the time to write a review is because, after years of bad experiences with Nissan, but also hearing from friends that "that's just how all dealerships are" and that people have similar experiences with Chevy, Ford, Honda, etc, I finally had a car buying experience this week that was not like that at all, and was actually fantastic from start to finish, at Riverhead Mitsubishi. Their new 2019 Mirage G4 has the same size and shape as my 2013 certified preowned Versa SL did, more space inside and in the trunk, and their salesmen were not the stereotypical fast talking con artists most of us have become accustomed to dealing with at dealerships. When this happened 4 years ago, I didn't think it was worth writing a review because I believed all dealerships were like that anyway. Now that I've seen honest, genuine car salesmen at Riverhead Mitsubishi that actually give you a good feeling when you walk in, I just feel compelled to share the knowledge with the public. We should not accept the "normal" way car dealerships tend to treat their customers (especially women. As an adult I should not need to bring a dad or uncle with me to prevent someone from trying to take advantage). I definitely urge you, if you are in the market to boycott dealerships like Nissan who take full advantage of the fact that their cars sell themselves, and find yourself a dealership like Riverhead Mitsubishi who actually take care of their customers. The information given by the sales person and finance manager was misleading the finance manager failed to mention, that the final price is expanded with a warranty and maintenance fee. This is a violation: according to a Truth in Landing Act. the law requires clear disclosure Implying that the only way we can ensure the advertised price the sales person roped us in the us into an in house financing We did not discover the HIDDEN FEES and the DISREPANCY BETWEEN the OFFERED and FINAL SALES PRICE until reading through the hardcopy print out paperwork at home, because the buyer has to sign the contract on a pin pad, not an actual hard copy. We went back to the dealership talked to the office manager, who explained that the difference between the final sales price and the advertised price is a result of an initial DOWN PAYMENT, which was ADDED to the original price pointing out the fine print on the Nissan " *Must finance through dealership. Price is after $1,995 down payment or equivalent trade-in. " (By definition the meaning of down payment : A percentage of the total purchase price of an item that is offered when the item is bought on credit.) read more

I have serviced my 2019 Nissan Rogue for over 2 years after moving out of NYC during the Pandemic. I had previously had no problems, but on November 17, 2022, I went in for a routine oil and filter change and agreed to a coolant flush. However, I was told by Donna there was rust on the rear brake rotors. Donna told me that they would replace and honor a Brake Coupon from dealer for $249.95 for entire job. Not only did they not honor the coupon but proceeded to do front and rear brakes and I ended up with a $1440 bill and I had NEVER been told prices! DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER! I took my Nissan to Riverhead Nissan because it is close to my home. I took it in for service,it was the the radiator fan. The radiator fans are in back order .A sister company had the part and was willing to send it to the Riverhead location for a extra 58 dollars.This is not my only car .When ever I take my other cars in for service I always get a rental. Not at Nissan I had to pay for a rental While they have the part ship and installed it. The only reason why I gave it so many stars is because of the service lady Dona. Went in to make a deal for the Nissan Leaf based of the PSEG rebate deal. We made a good deal, signed the Application and left a deposit while they "secured" me a Leaf. They called me back saying that it was sold out from under them but they would try to get more. Why they asked for a deposit on a car they did not have is beyond me. After a couple of days waiting, I got a call from Kyle who was friendly but advised me that the deal we made with the salesman (Mario) and the actual sales manager (Irving) was not valid. He explained that he was unable to offer me the incentive from Nissan along with the PSEG offer and they would need a lot more money down. How were those details not known even by the sales manager? Classic sleezy car salesperson techniques. When I put the deposit down for a lease, when I came in to finalize the paperwork, it was thousands of dollars more than told to me. After having the car for a few months, I broke down on the side of the road because they didn't tell me an important limitation of owning an electric car. I called the dealership for help. I received two "they'll call you back shortly" messages from the receptionist then never received a call back. Ended up getting help from a far more kind and helpful Nissan who I never paid a dime to. I will never go back here again and I would never recommend them to others. read more

I was sold a car with a broken bumper, a sunroof that doesn't work properly and high beams that don't work properly, the previous owner's info still stored in the phone, dog hair and dog nose prints all over the back windows. Was told I had to replace the bumper myself and I said that was unacceptable that I wanted a safe good car and I was told I wanted a cheap car. Lexi the sales rep and Ken from finances daughter was just as unethical and highly unprofessional. They knew they had done something wrong and kept pushing for us to sign credit app even when we said we were leaving. Offered to drop the price on the car for signature on credit app (not purchase order). At this point they were both physically shaking since they RAN OUR CREDIT WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION and knew what they had done was unethical. This was my first brand new car ever and they took gross disadvantage of me. The price we agreed on was not what I paid the maintenance package was just thrown on my purchase by the financiers and it was not free like they kept saying. I went there in sep 9 to refinance a Murano this salesperson helped my wife and I with the situation he offer us a great deal to get a new vehicle for a lower price he took advantage of me giving this deal for a high payments of 850 for 8 months and than after those 8 months the payments were going to get down to 350 a month, I agree because if you see it is a great deal for a New Nissan Pathfinder knowing that I didn't know about this kind of deals I work in the food industry I don't know anything about this business. So he gave me 2 contracts one for 850 for 8 months and the other for 350 for 72 months I sighed both contracts and he gave them to the general manager he saw them approved, when I ask for copies of those contracts he said to me that he will send it over email to me because he's manager was very busy which I didn't yasee any problem, but that was my mistake, now I'm stack with payments of 850 for 72 months the other contract is not where to be found jay the rat who did this got fire from the dealer I ask for solution at this place and all they do is threat me like a layer like nothing, I went there many times and nobody is helping with that I had to screw my credit bringing the car back and looking forward to find a solution to this issue, please people don't buy cars at this dealership don't do it they will rob you, SCAMMED you and treat you rude. My son just purchased a car here, advertised at $12,555, if financed. He put down the required $1995, traded in his car. He was told by Mario (salesman) that the price was $10,560 to be financed. Enter John, financial wizard, amount financed was upwards of $22,000. They did talk him into purchasing $4,000 warranty. Even with the other dealer fees, it doesn't add up to $22,000. Went in and spoke to manager, and he said the $12,555 in the ad was the dealer's cost, and the car was really $17,000. Oh and never got a bill of sale on the day of purchase. Very dishonest sales help, and if you ask a question you are treated as if you have no right to know about things like, what is the suggested retail price of the car. My car was having issues, I was on the fence about getting it fixed or getting a new car. I went to Riverhead Nissan cause its where my GF and her sister got their cars. I put a small deposit down to get started, but after they got back to me it made more financial sense for me to get my current car fixed.
