FIRESTONE RIVERHEAD: Do. Not. Go…read more Rude and incompetent management. Back story: as a multitasking wizard I dropped my truck off to be inspected while I got my nails done. Called to say car was ready for pick up. Paid the $37, got in the car and realized there was no inspection sticker. I go back inside to find out what's up (truck is Tacoma, 2017, in excellent condition and well maintained). I ask why i wasnt given this info and was told "im not the technician im just working the desk," like what???? I'm told the computer needed to be reset and I should drive it 100 miles and bring it back. Okay, like that's a huge pain in the ass since I live where I live and it's a summer traffic nightmare to go back there.... 500 miles later I go back. The "supervisor" hooks up his little electronic machine and tells me I need to drive it further. I explain it's been 500 miles and the car is overdue for servicing, no one has touched or reset any computer. No answer. No solution. Other than I just have to keep driving it. The "supervisor" called the branch manager for me. I could hear him chasing on the other end, saying "tell her she just has to drive the fuvking car, I'm not speaking to her." How can you NOT offer a solution, offer to look into what's going on with my car, and then NOT speak to me or try to make it right? I'm off to Toyota to see what's going on with my car bc I can't drive around without an inspection sticker. So irritated.

He spoke with us and gathered all our information as to what our needs were. He quickly presented us with many, many options. We went for a couple of test drives and decided on a Nissan rogue. We then met with Kenny, who also knew his stuff. He too, was friendly and knowledgeable. He guided us through financing. Next we met with Jim, their Allstate rep. Again, we were so satisfied with his service. I would recommend this business to all and would definitely go back when the need arises.

I purchased a used vehicle, a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek, also sold an extended warranty for which I was…read moreverbally promised was 100% refundable if I did not use it before 24 months, or 110,000 miles. Right from day one, the air conditioning did not work. That actually should have been covered under the Lemon Law, but after taking the car to Riverhead Auto Mall three times, including needing to take days off from work to do so, they kept refusing to repair the AC saying it wasn't broken. It is still broken to this day and has been verified to be as such by Meineke in Southampton, and absolutely anyone who has driven with me in the car. I believe the cause is the AC Clutch, which is a very common problem with Subarus. The compressor is fine etc. Next I tried taking the car to Subaru and then after to The Garage in Hampton Bays, NY and try to use the Custom Edge Plus warranty that I had been told was accepted anywhere. But that also was not true, no one would accept it. I was told I would have had to use the warranty to get it repaired at Riverhead Auto Mall. Result, I still have no AC to this day. I bought this car in a hurry because I was under duress, needing it for work and repeated trips to MSKCC in NYC driving for hours in blazing heat, because I had and was being treated for cancer, and was due to have surgery August, 2022. Now, at this point, the car is over 110,00 miles and I therefore contacted Riverhead Auto Mall for the refund so I could get the AC fixed. So far, I have been sent two refund checks that amount to less than half of the amount I paid for the extended warranty. I am simply requesting the remaining balance owed to me be immediately refunded, and additionally, possibly, that they refund me for a repair cost for the AC, whatever it costs, at the Subaru dealership in Riverhead. Riverhead Auto Mall is consistently dishonest, unreliable, immoral and purposefully misleading.
