I love this guitar, kept it as a keepsake, but I wanted to play it again. I found Jim on the web, and he did a beautiful job of repairing both the structural parts of the guitar, and also restoring its beauty. This Gibson has never sounded deeper, more resonant, mellow, and sweet, and is now beautiful again with a honey-natural top! I was about to spend more money for a new mic which hurt because I was between jobs and this was an expensive and really good Rode mic Someone suggested Absolute Sound the music store. I thought well it is a microphone. So I gave them a shot. They were super friendly and helpful and while I think this particular type of microphone is not what they generally deal with, they took it on. The next day they called that it was ready. When I got there Nick explained exactly what was wrong and what he did to fix it. They took it on, got it fixed and for a fraction of what I was about to spend on a new one. I'll definitely go back to them. They have a really nice selection of music gear too for a small town shop.

He arrived precisely on time, did a good job tuning, and charged $90. He came to our home in Eugene. He seems very knowledgeable about pianos. There was very little chitchat. He showed up and got right to work. He diagnosed a few things that need to be done on our piano and gave a bid if we decide to have them fixed in the future. I recommend him for piano tuning and I'll hire him again when we get the piano re-tuned in a year.
