I had gone to Staples for a repair. I'd dumped about 2 cups of water on my keyboard. The Staples Tech told me Staples couldn't touch a computer damaged by water. She suggested HDP and said if anyone could fix it, they could. Joe checked out my computer and found that my hard drive was completely gone. I asked about some files that had been backed up on One Drive. He was able to retrieve these files and then replace my hard drive. I've been to a few computer repair places in Roseburg and HPD is absolutely the best. I wanted to get a new computer built and went to a few places for pricing. HPD pricing was well below the other two. My computer parts cost $3,200 and Joe did a fantastic job putting everything together. And he didn't even complain when I asked him to wear gloves. Joe, who is the sole employee (I think) is very professional, friendly, and explains/talks to you so you understand. And I'm a senior. He is incredibly knowledgeable about, not only computers but computer systems, wifi, cell phones, laptops, etc. He even assisted w/ putting together a Ubiquiti Lightbeam Wifi system at my residence. I've used this computer guru for years...he even came out just a month ago and did a fine job. Then, I had another glitch and tried to call - got an operator intercept that the phone number was no longer working. So I had another person call to make sure it wasn't my phone. They left a message because they got through...so was just my number blocked? I went to see Joe in person and ask what was going on, and let him know about the phone problem. He just said he was dropping me as a customer. HUH? This is not a good way to run a business. read more
