They start you off with fresh bread and a delicious flavored butter, which was a great touch. Also had the escargot. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're looking for good food, friendly service, and a charming historic setting.

It's clearly a busy place. "Wait to be seated" suggests…read morethey'll at least acknowledge your arrival. Nope. Waited a bit. Again busy, but not okay. Servers walked round us several times before acknowledging we were there. Okay to wait for a table, but when the table becomes open, acknowledge us and let us sit, rather than continuing to make us wait. We were seated and waited again before given menus and cutlery. A couple sat down several minutes after us and were given cutlery and menus. I get different waitresses have different tables, but a table who arrives first should be served first. And yup, they got their food before we did. Food was disappointing. Fries were warm. Crab cake sandwich (with shrimp) lacked flavor, and tasted like a crispy potato cake. Buffalo chicken sandwich should not be kids chicken tenders toasted in sauce falling out of the sandwich. Burger was overcooked and dry. The bathroom needs a clean. Slippery floors, cracked tiles that feel like you're going to fall through the floor. Around disappointed

My husband and I didn't want to be rude and walk out; so we ordered chips, salsa and queso thinking it would be ok. Honestly, we were afraid to order from the kitchen based on the lack of cleanliness where people can see. The chips were so stale they were almost chewy! And stone cold! Queso was thin and salsa was from NYC!My suggestion: Just serve drinks and don't try to serve food! Just be a bar!

We did have to wait about 15 minutes to be seated, but once we were seated, our host, Gavin, was quick to greet us. He took both our drink and food orders at the same time since we already knew what we wanted. My wife ordered the chicken fried chicken with mac and cheese and fries. I had the 12 oz. ribeye, cooked medium, with a loaded sweet potato and a salad. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the quality of the food exceeded our expectations. What really stood out, though, was the service. Gavin was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of throughout our meal. From the excellent service to the quality and taste of the food, we were extremely happy with our visit. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and outstanding service!

Didn't get the bartenders name but she was also good. The bad: ordered 16 oz prime rib, medium rare. I fully admit I am a fool for ordering this. 80% was medium and there was plenty of fat, as expected. Ordered baked potato as my side. Prime rib comes out, no potato. I tell the bartender about it, she checks and comes back to tell me 8 minutes on the potato, do I want mashed instead? Nope...I say I'll take the mixed vegetables. Mind you...this is a Saturday night at 6 pm and the people who ordered after us got their meals, one of them with a baked potato. Manager asks around the bar how everyone is doing. I explain I wanted a baked potato, like the guy who got his with his meal, but I ordered the veg. He says something to the effect, that he knows. The ugly: He (the manager brings out my veg and puts it down. (Broccoli and carrots) RAW...I don't care for raw broccoli and carrots. I push them away, bartender comes over, I tell her I will wait for the baked potato. It comes out, I'm warned it's hot (sure, because the kitchen clearly didn't make enough baked potatoes for a Saturday night) So I cautiously start to eat my microwaved baked potato that is mostly undercooked and not edible. The reason for the one star...bartender removes my meal. She apologized and I told her that it wasn't her fault and left a 20% tip (before my meal was removed) All I can do is hope the manager and kitchen do a better job (make enough baked potatoes for a Saturday night and don't serve raw vegetables)
