    The water slide
    Becca M.

If you are expecting luxury, this isn't the place to go. However, the slide and the pools were fun with the kids. My four year old just adored everything about this place. The swimming pool is nice and cool in the summer time and the slide kept the four year old and the husband busy for hours. The pool has some rust on the bottom and sides. The hot spring pools are clean. The overall appearance is a bit run down with uneven concrete and outdated buildings, but the experience was a good one

Oh riverdale, so many fun memories of this place. This used to be a resort. Now it's just concrete hole with pvc pipe shooting in natural hot water in one area of the peanut pool. The actual pool was clean, no bugs or grass and leaves (as long as you didn't mind walking on slime on the bottom). The "hot tub" was so hot we couldn't even get in, it was at 109 degrees when they checked it and that's just too hot. The shower room and the locker facilities need some help. Everything is wide open to shower. No privacy. Turn the hot water on before you go swimming because it took 20 minutes for the shower water to heat up to shower. The entire floor in the shower area and shower was disgustingly slick from slime? Biohazard? Who knows. My kids enjoyed the swimming but it really needs to be remodeled in the changing rooms. If you are charged "resort" prices you should be able to have a hot shower after a swim. Either fix it to resemble a resort or just call it a hot springs. For a family of four it was $30 to swim in one pool that was 92 degrees. It has the bones there to be an amazing place but right now it's just a corpse.

Dead bugs that flew out of the air conditioning unit onto the bed daily.

It's a real shame Logan city sold Municipool years back to some unreputable private scuba company that closed it to public swimming. Well, enough of the history lesson.. Sky View pool is a decent option for family swimming. It has limited weekday hours during the school year, 6-8pm, but Saturday open swim is 1-8pm. Considering it's now over 50 years old, it's clean and well maintained. Lockers rooms are dated but pretty clean, have free lockers if you bring your own lock, showers heat well and have a lot of pressure. Life guards are well trained and keep it safe. It has a low 1 meter diving board at one end, and two basketball hoops at the other. But their balls are all worn out or flat, so be sure to bring your own if you really want to play. Lap swimming is 5-6:30am for you early birds, with water aerobics afterwards. Sky View is the best value around, only $2 per person, cash or check only. USU Hper was $5 per last I checked. It can get crowded on Saturday afternoons, but the kids love it. Mind you, it's just a lap pool. No water slides, no kiddie area. It is what it is, but I'm glad we have it.

Even better than Ross Park in Poky in terms of maintenance and general cleanliness. In Pocatello the only decent pool is probably at Gold's Gym imo. Some people refer to Ross Park as Gross Park , however maintaining the park in the wilderness takes a lot of effort and is much harder than you think especially if you move to the desert from parts of the world where nature takes care of its own lol and maintaining grass or trees is just a matter of trimming them nicely. Pool seems Ok in Poky it is just changing rooms that are disgusting and gross alright. It does not take that much effort to clean. So by comparison the pool and surrounding area in Indian Springs is admirable. I only noticed few very minor things like the soap dispenser not working in the shower, but I also noticed those showers are not frequently used by many customers. I also noticed here to a great number of people showering before and after pool is a foreign concept. What is the logic? Sharing is caring? Including all the body sweats and odors? Ok... I don't really swim in my clothes so I had no issues with dress code. Some peeps do. Why? You did not mean to and fell into pool? Not sure why, my son likes his swimming shirt but it is not denim it is like specially made one for sensitive skin allegedly protects from harmful uv rays etc. So overall they provide an awesome value for the price when it comes to swimming and we had a lot of fun partying in front you can rent the space for your employee appreciating picnic that is of course if you do appreciate them :) Owners are approachable, facility is maintained and within reasonable distance. Local reservoir by Seagull Bay is an awesome place for boating, but for swimming I'd rather go to Indian Springs due to cleanliness of the water.

My nine year old niece had been swimming in her preferred swim clothes of shorts and a t-shirt, but was asked to get out of the pool. Apparently she could wear those ONLY OVER a traditional female bathing suit (keep in mind this rule was applied to a prepubescent girl). The rule sounded odd, and an adult relative asked if the manager could clarify. The owner came out and was immediately confrontational, "I always have a few rule breakers like you!" "Its a health code, and I won't risk my business for people like you!" and the like we're said while this relative was asking how we could go about renting a traditional swimsuit. He didn't seem to listen to the question being asked about renting a swimsuit. Overhearing the verbal tirade against my relative, I approached. The owner sneered and told me to "move on." I informed him that I would leave the pool and grounds if asked, since that was his right as the owner, but I wouldn't be ordered away from witnessing his conversation with my family member with the way he was addressing her. For whatever reason, in spite of multiple offers to leave the pool if asked, he would not ask me to leave the pool. Instead saying I "would pay even more now" and calling the police. Really? Our entire group realized he would not allow the situation to de-escalate, and we left the pool (although, again, we were never asked to leave). I do not blame the owner for the odd rule, if it exists. I can only speak for his actions, which were distasteful. He had a satisfied smirk on his face as he watched my special needs daughter cry because she didn't understand why we were leaving early. How can anyone smile at the tears of a vulnerable child?! After leaving the pool, I waited on the grounds for the police to arrive. I made my statement, the owner made his statement, and it was determined that no crime was committed. The owner exercised his right to view us as trespassers in the future, and of course we have no desire to return. If you have any expectation of being addressed respectfully and as a peer, rather than being spoken down to like a naughty child, avoid asking management anything.

Pool regulars had erected tents, set up beach umbrellas, and laid out vast swaths of blankets and towels to stake their claim upon the grassy area near the slides. Others allowed their belongings to spill across picnic tables and pool chairs. However, these areas had all been deserted in favor of the crystal clear pools and curling slides. In all, there are three pools at the Logan Aquatic Center: a lap pool, a leisure pool, and a diving pool. There are also two moderately-sized water slides. Concessions are available, though I didn't check them out. Life jackets are available to rent for free for the duration of your visit. My companions told me that the place is a zoo on Saturdays. Though it was busy on Sunday, it wasn't crowded. One good reason to go on Saturday (if you qualify) is that people with disabilities and their families can swim for free from 9-11:30 am. I found regular admission to be surprisingly cheap. For $5, I could swim all day. The Logan Aquatic Center is a great place to spend the day! I'm glad I went and will definitely return before the end of the summer.
