Used to be great--good vibes. But when we went last week, that had changed. Almost no employees are…read moreavailable to help (we had to call from inside the building and then wait 10 minutes for a kid to come upstairs to start the go karts). And then the cherry on top was when we took our toddlers to turn in their tickets for prizes. It's already an absolutely ridiculous scam: you pay like $50 to play games that earn your kids like $5 of stupid cheap plastic prizes. But that's an established practice: we all know the drill. Where it really went south quickly is when the girl behind the counter gave my kid a cheap little parachute toy, I opened it for him at the counter, and it was clearly broken. Then I casually said "can you replace this since it's broken?" And the girl told me she needed to get approval. I thought she was joking. We're talking about replacing a 5 cent crappy toy that we heard just earned with like $10 worth of credits. But no, she said she wasn't allowed to do anything about it until she got approval. So we sat there and waited for like 5 minutes for her supervisor to have a free minute to tell her she was allowed to replace a cheap little plastic toy that was broken when it was handed to us. Just to be clear, I don't blame the kids operating this place. This is clearly a management issue. All the kids working there are scared to do anything wrong. But sadly, penny-pinching isn't going to make this place successful.

It's a real toss up, the price was pretty great for what it was. The outdoor course was really…read moredirty and a little confusing as the workers gave me no real heads up on what to do. Obviously you figure out what your doing but the outdoor has two courses and I didn't know that. I'd probably go back, it was cheap, the games were fun, and it was definitely a bang for your buck!

Our one-hour booking ended up being rushed, with only about 40 minutes in the party room since we were brought in late. We were asked to pay in full right away, but then the hosts disappeared for most of the time. We even had to light our own candles, which we were told we couldn't do, and when the hosts returned, they were unprofessional and called it out in front of the kids. It really took away from the celebration. For the price, I expected much better communication and support. Sadly, I wouldn't book this again.

Expect to wait 30+ minutes for your poorly reheated food, and not be able to hear the order number when it's called due to the volume of the sound system. When there are delays, the employees don't inform you of the wait time, apologize for the wait, or offer any solutions. Poor seating, everything is sticky, dirty, and stained. Just thoroughly unimpressed, especially for the price.

When we left, the parking lot was overflowing and cars circling around trying to find a parking space. Still, with the influx of larger crowds to parking lot capacity, it didn't feel crowded inside. This is a wonderful place to visit. A wonderful place to bring family and friends..There are animals and species that I've never seen anywhere else, and I've been to the Tucson Sonoran Desert Museum, the San Diego Safari Park, Sea World, Scripps Oceanography, and various zoos. This was a treat. And almost all were active and were seen. Such variety. There is no wasted space in this museum. Walls are adorned, such as a long wall with the ascending walkway going to the penguin exhibit made to look like a South Pole research center. Even every access door for employees are adorned. See my photos. Nice vegetation areas in otherwise unused space. They put a nice climbing gym in what would have been an unused corner, great for parents who need a break and kids to dissipate energy. There are thoughtful benches placed here and there for a sit down rest. There is a very nice small cafe and snack bar to get a yummy huge pretzel, or hamburger and other sandwiches and salads. Looking at the prices, they are very reasonable for a museum/theme park. You are getting a great value for the buck. Whether you are buying for just the day or a membership, I think that you are getting your money's worth. We spent four hours there and didn't see everything, read everything, tried everything. The four hours went by fast. This is a very popular place for good reason--a jewel in the valley. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. I came here for an event tonight and the area around the claw is so amazing! There are several different animals around the garden area all lit up for Christmas and it so perfect to stroll through. While we didn't get to see any aquatic life on the tank at the Mountain American Event center, it looks like they were still setting things up to add some animals in soon. The facility itself was very spacious with a sound system that covers the whole room. Can't wait to come back once everything is in place!
