I went to the Logan Aquatic Center for the first time a couple of Sundays ago and was impressed by…read morethe local culture. Pool regulars had erected tents, set up beach umbrellas, and laid out vast swaths of blankets and towels to stake their claim upon the grassy area near the slides. Others allowed their belongings to spill across picnic tables and pool chairs. However, these areas had all been deserted in favor of the crystal clear pools and curling slides. In all, there are three pools at the Logan Aquatic Center: a lap pool, a leisure pool, and a diving pool. There are also two moderately-sized water slides. Concessions are available, though I didn't check them out. Life jackets are available to rent for free for the duration of your visit. My companions told me that the place is a zoo on Saturdays. Though it was busy on Sunday, it wasn't crowded. One good reason to go on Saturday (if you qualify) is that people with disabilities and their families can swim for free from 9-11:30 am. I found regular admission to be surprisingly cheap. For $5, I could swim all day. The Logan Aquatic Center is a great place to spend the day! I'm glad I went and will definitely return before the end of the summer.

Locker room is kept pretty clean. There is plenty of room here for future expansion, like possibly building a covered indoor pool like Kearns Oquirrh Rec Center did a few years back in the Salt Lake City area. There's plenty of room for a splash pad too. Honestly, it may be more of a 3.5, but it's well kept, has adequate safety team, and I enjoy lounging on their freshly mown lawn.

Stunning Utah Views, Perfect Water Temp, & Great Price! I…read morefeel truly blessed to be soaking in such a gorgeous atmosphere here in the middle of Utah. The mountain backdrop and stunning skies are 10/10, and it's a very family-friendly spot that's great value for the price. One thing they do better than other spas is the water temperature--it's kept at a perfect, consistent temp while other places often struggle to get it right. However, my friends and I noticed a few areas that need attention: * Safety/Walkways: The ground is hit-or-miss. While some parts have good grip, there are very slick, patches scattered throughout the entire facility. I highly recommend everyone bring water shoes for safety. Restrooms: Both the men's and women's bathrooms need much better ventilation and air circulation. Adding an air purifier would go a long way in keeping them fresh. Aesthetics: It's great they are expanding, but the construction area is mostly dirt right now. Some green privacy screening on the fence would help hide the work and preserve the "retreat" vibe. * The Vibe: It can get a little boring just sitting in the pool. It would be amazing to have live music or themed nights like Singles night. Service was great The life guards were vigilant and knowledgeable. Overall, a beautiful and affordable spot.

There are several sizes and temperatures of in-ground tubs and pools... VERY salty. Facilities are simple and functional, with showers, changing rooms, snacks, outdoor shelving to set your stuff, and lockers if it seems sketchy. Visited from Boston with a native Utahn and had a great time! A very long drive from SLC for us east-coasters but apparently no big deal for locals.

I was blown away by how clean, peaceful, and well-maintained the public hot springs are. The geothermal pools range from 102° to 112°, so you can pick the perfect temperature for your soak -- whether you want something warm and soothing or a hotter pool that melts away every bit of stress. One of the biggest surprises was how crystal-clear the water is. There's no sulfur smell, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The natural mineral water flows through constantly, meaning it's always fresh and never stagnant. That alone puts Lava Hot Springs above so many other hot springs I've visited. The atmosphere is beautiful, especially with the surrounding mountains and rising steam creating the most peaceful vibe. It's open year-round, and I can only imagine how magical it must be in winter with snow falling around you. Whether you're road-tripping, visiting with family, or planning a relaxing getaway, this spot is a must. Lava Hot Springs is easily one of the best geothermal soaking destinations in the West. I'll definitely be coming back! https://linktr.ee/reessroots

Natural hot spring with multiple pools. It was not crowded at all and we did not have to walk far or fight the dirt road to get to like most hot spring. In fact it looked like any regular pools or spa but as you get close you can see the steam wafting up and as you dip your feet in the water it's "aaaaahhh" at first sigh... hehee I don't remember the cost but it was between $10-$20. There were plenty of free parking. They even have a locker and shower. I can't wait to go back when I'm on a road trip that way. Making plans already...heheh...
