Super fun ! We drive from South Ogden because my little ones love the pool. Only downside is it can get packed.

I can't say enough good things about this place and the swim instructors. My daughter had no idea…read morehow to swim, but after taking 2 weeks of lessons last year and 2 weeks of lessons this year, she's doing amazing! Usually each session consists of 4 students and 4 instructors. I love how each student gets their own instructor! The pool is plenty big for the 4 separate swim lessons to take place. They have shaded areas for the parents to sit and watch their students. They also have a bathroom incase the student needs to go during the lesson. Lessons are 20 minutes a day for 5 days. It's best to book 2 weeks of lessons, but spread them out. You also need to be quick about registering because lessons sell out fast! I suggest following them on Facebook and signing up for emails through their website. If you don't get lessons, sometimes people sell theirs on the Hunsaker Swimming Facebook page. I'll definitely be signing my daughter up again next year!

Hunsaker Swim has truly changed my sons life. He entered the summer being terrified of water, but…read morereally wanted to be comfortable in the water with his friends. After just two sessions, he was more than comfortable: he truly enjoyed swimming. It was a great swimming and learning environment, very clean and beautiful pool, and knowledgeable and patient teachers who are willing to take the time to learn about the students and adjust the teaching to their needs. I can't wait to enroll both of my boys in lessons for next year!

Swim Kids Layton is doing a complete highway robbery for its loyal customers! We have been a…read moreswimkids customer for 2 years now, then they went blindsided us completely. They are charging $39 for a 15 min lesson. Thats almost $160 per hr! Wow! They even copied my military ID (that's supposed to be 20%) and I am still being charged the full $39 per 15 min swimming lesson. Called their office directly and asked if I can talk to the manager directly and they said they are on a retreat. I guess the managers are having a nice ol' retreat using our money to enjoy themselves! This is still on-going and it happened back in August. As of posting this, still no refunds, phone call, or even text back from any managers. If you need an easy stealing high money from customers and individuals, I guess apply for swimkids layton instructor! You are getting paid $160 per hr or maybe their managers whose enjoying their retreat that's stealing most of it!

I have to agree with all of the other terrible reviews. Now that we have moved and we go to a well…read moreran swim school, it really points out how much money we wasted here! Complaints: - it's incredibly hard to schedule make up credits - they constantly change teachers on your which is hard for young kids - things get cancelled constantly which is hard for consistency - price is outrageous for not being organized My son barely learned anything here and I spent hundreds of dollars. When I moved him to a new swim school he was quickly back floating by himself, rolling over in both directions, able to swim to the bottom to pick up toys. Age of reference: he was 3 for the lessons.

I will say that I like the kid's club and the front desk lady. I've been to a lot of gyms in my…read morelife. This gym for sure has the least up-to-date equipment I have ever used. Everything about this gym's equipment is just genuinely old and crummy. I mentioned to management that their pool is unbearably cold. The kids that were getting in the pool (on several occasions) were getting blue lips and it just seemed to get colder as the months went on and my youngest refused to get in anymore. Old people would get in the pool and just say, "Sure is miserable, isn't it?" Management told me that the pool temp was optimal and that basically I just need to deal with it. A week later they are replacing a water pump in the pool. It's just a really disrespectful management atmosphere. My husband's father died and we were going to be out of state for two weeks and since this gym is SO expensive, I asked if we could get some sort of refund or credit while we were gone. They told me "no sorry" and that was it. I told them that I have never had a gym treat death in a family so lightly and how cruel that is. It was only after having to remind them to treat people right that they decided maybe they could put our account on hold for two weeks. Like, how on earth have they gotten that low that they weren't willing to offer that without hesitation initially? Very unfortunate and just so cocky. This gym is SOOOOOO much more expensive than any gym in the area and just doesn't make sense how they can be so cocky and rude when their gym really is the oldest and crummiest gym I've ever been to. Their classes are pretty good but the yoga room is so cramped that it makes class squishy a lot and the speakers in the room are so old that they break a lot. It's really something. I think young moms get taken advantage of the most because a one-year-old that can be in the kids' club for an hour costs just as much as a 17-year-old child that could go to the gym all day, every day. I'm planning on going to the Marshall White Center that's opening back up soon and I think a lot of young moms will come with me because this gym is WAY too expensive for what you actually get out of the facility.

I've been going to OAC for about 4 years, none of the equipment is the same brand, size, or similar in quality. It's a dated gym and half the time, machines or equipment are broken. When they do repair they its usually very poor quality. It's a very dated gym and the average cost of a membership is about 50% more than local gyms. It takes a long time for equipment to be repaired and they have more "don't do this" signs than anything I've ever seen. Things like, "dont use your phone" "don't wear sandals" Dont move this, don't move that etc. I really enjoyed the members, everyone is very nice and super friendly. The only real upside is that the kid care is AWESOME. The staff is very friendly, and they have a free area where older kids can just chill and watch movie. Great for the summer. They always have different crafts for the kids to do too. That's why they get 2 stars not 1.
