This place is sweet! We just did the indoor water area and outside pirate splash area! My kids did t want to leave! We will have to come back for sure! Very clean and friendly place! They even have concessions to buy! We will have to come back to check out the rock wall and ice rink!!

    Inside. Weight room.

This recreation center has been a blessing for Davis County. It has so many amenities, classes, and fun that you can count on. I actually have a recreation yearly membership and I enjoy it. Great factors: Fun pools (indoor and outdoor), slides, and lazy river for the kids. This is my favorite part about the recreation center. Locker rooms and family rooms. There is an indoor track and weight equipment. Free weights and fitness classes. There is an ice rink, as well as racquetball courts. Small rock wall for rock climbing. There is a basketball court. Here is the downfall. I wish there was more than one basketball full size basketball court. Lots of people like to play and it can be used some nights for the community leagues. I also wish there was a grass faux field for running and more areas to stretch, but everything works great. It is a reasonable price and a great area for everyone around. Definitely will continue to come to enjoy family fun and workout.

Ashley the manager , she was actually getting after set a customer in the picture to get out of the busking as well .

If I could I'd give this place a -0 rating More updates and story time coming. And it's due to the Sunday manager Ashley that was rude not only to myself and my family during a birthday party, but also other guest and said right at four that they were closed and she is not helping anybody. In all honesty, I know it could just be that lady with bad managing skills and communication skills for yelling at guests, but we really thought this was going to be different experience the facilities is nice but don't expect help from Ashley the manager she will be rude and tell you to get out of the building and she's not helping no one once the place is closed . The lady in the picture is Ashley and the other person is the Nother customer she was telling to get out of the building and just before that somebody came up with a Nintendo switch asking for help and she just told them "I am closed" and the person says "so you're not gonna help me?" And she says "no , but you got to get out of the busking ".

Tight quarters to say the least.

Prices are low, but I can see why. 30 minutes for $15 gets you about five feet of water to receive instruction. Took my son here for a lesson and they shoehorned him in between lifeguard training and an ongoing pickup water basketball game. He was constantly getting splashed on and directed to not hit other people in the pool. The lessons are held in the main swimming pool with the giant water feature and water slides, so it was impossible for me to hear a word the instructor was saying to my son, and I'm betting the acoustics were no better for the instructor and student. Overall not impressed. Great place to play in the heated water, but DO NOT pay for "private" lessons here.

The indoor pool slide is so much fun! It makes me giggle like a kid. The center offers a variety of things to do. Ice skating, basketball, lap pools, recreational pools, track, work out machines, weights, .... In the summer months, the outside water playground is great. It has a pirate ship with a slide and water fountains to cool you off.

Although I love food more than exercise, I realize that to combat the first (eat well), I must do…read morethe second (work out). Skills fitness has been a great place for helping strengthen my core. I really need to spend more time here, but I at least try to make my commitment to attend the weekly Tuesday evening Pilates class. The instructor is great; she kicks my butt every time. And as a result, my core muscles have improved greatly from my lethargic sedentary lifestyle of a few years ago. I also occasionally use the media room treadmill and watch movies on the huge screen. And the hot tub, sauna and steam room are great for a sore bod. I still have the gut to prove my love of food and beer. But I can carry it with pride knowing that there are some stronger muscles underneath that will help me keep moving into my 60s. I can highly recommend this nice, clean and professional gym in North Bountiful.

I really REALLY don't want to write this review because I love skills. But I hope that someone will…read moresee it and changes will be made. I've been going to skills since they first opened. The only time I haven't been a member was when I was away at college. I even worked for skills for a year. It's my favorite gym in the world, but with the new ownership things have really gone downhill. When I used to work at skills we cleaned the bathrooms every shift. Now I'd be surprised if they are cleaned once a week. The bathrooms are absolutely nasty. And with the new ownership they've switched to a system where someone is only manning the front desk for a few hours a day, meaning no towel service, no help with memberships, no movies in the cinema room. The cinema room has been turned into the spin studio meaning no more working out while watching a film. The yoga studio was torn down and made into some weird stretching space. Buttons on machines are broken and will go for months without being fixed. And forget using the hot tub or sauna -- they are always broken. The class schedule used to be packed during the morning and evening, now there's only one class offered during the evenings most nights. And while everything has changed, prices have gone up a few bucks -- which isn't a big deal, but I paid for what skills used to be. I used to love skills. It was a great local gym with the best amenities, equipment, and classes around. But it's turned into a sad shell of its former self. I've cancelled my membership and switched gyms. I hope they can turn skills around before it's too late.

The first time we went into this Anytime Fitness we were so impressed! The guy helping us was…read morereally helpful and he gave us a tour of the gym. He made it clear what fees would apply if we had decided to sign up for the membership. There was no pressure to sign up, and then we left to decide between Planet Fitness and Anytime Fitness as our new gym of choice. This Anytime Fitness location is really clean and smells great! This was another big factor in our decision when choosing a gym. The machines seemed like they were well kept and they had some really neat technology. There is a room on the side of the building that has an electronic "personal" trainer. There are also classes to choose from that you can do in the room with a projector and a screen. We went in to sign up for the membership and the owner was there. I believe his name was Mazi. At first he seemed nice but as we started asking questions he was really pushy and it seemed like everything that came out of his mouth was another fee that we would have to pay at the beginning of our membership. The application requires you to put you social security number on it and all of your credit card information for billing. While we were in the office the owner was taking pictures of documents to send to his wife to be entered into the computer system because she was working from home. We stepped outside of the office to talk about all of the fees because all said and done it would have been about $215 to sign up for the membership for the first month. We asked about cancellation fees if we needed to cancel for some reason and were never given a straight answer. It turns out the only way you can cancel is if you live more than 29 miles away from an Anytime Fitness! After talking about it we decided to go check out Planet Fitness and see what their fees were. He kept asking us what the problem was and why we didn't want to sign up for the membership, the main reason we didn't want to sign up for it at this point was because of him. As we were about to leave we asked if we could take the application with us since it had our social and credit card information on it and we were told no because we could only take it if we became members of the gym. He then proceeded to black everything out on the form and tear it up after about 3 minutes of us asking him to shred it if we couldn't take it with us, but only after saying, "Why are you guys so worried about it? Did something happen?" After we were trying to leave he literally chased us out into the parking lot trying to tell us that we could try out the gym for the day and then make our decision. The best decision we made today was NOT signing up with Anytime Fitness.
