The Park Center will always be the gym that no other gym lives up to. For me it was ideal. The time of day I'd go ( late-mornings, 9:30 or 10:00) there were just a few other people milling about, so not crowded at all. It's also new-ish, and well maintained. The child-care was awesome--best I've ever had at any gym. The classes were so so so phenominal. I was never a "group fitness" person until I tried classes here and they kicked my butt (in a good way.) And if you live or work in Murray you get a discounted membership. There's a lap pool, a recreation pool with a playground and waterslide for the kids. There's a nice basketball court (Matt Harpring teaches basketball camp here every summer.) There's a track--which a lot of gyms don't have. Treadmills, ellipticals, stair-steppers, a spin room, a nice studio, decent weight room, plus a pool table. Such a cool place. I miss it.

The park Center in Murray Park has much to offer in the way of equipment, tracks and pool. you can take a large variety of classes.

Nice facility with pretty much everything you'd need. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Never too busy.

The pool is always closed for swimming lesson. But it's clean now she's and has a lot of things to do.

The whole space is buzzing with Autumn energy, local vendors, and the mouthwatering smells of fresh food wafting through the air. From handmade goods to seasonal produce, there's something for everyone. The atmosphere is relaxed and community with families strolling, dogs wagging, and live music adding to the charm. Today there was a guitarist performing acoustic classics. The Farmer's market is the kind of place where you can grab a fresh pastry, sip on a local brew, and chat with the people who grew or made what you're enjoying. Overall, Wheeler's Farm is a great place to explore and support local vendors. Whether you're stocking up on veggies or just soaking in the sunshine, Wheeler's Farm makes Sunday mornings feel extra special. It's becoming a weekly tradition.

The same went for the two ponies and a small donkey; I saw them scavenging for hay among the pebbles on the ground, and they also looked famished. Another issue was the lack of affection and warmth shown toward the animals.

Murray City Park - Chief Wasatch 06-21-2026

I honestly wasn't planning to do much at Murray City Park (I just stopped by to stretch my legs for…read morea bit) but it ended up being way nicer than you expect a quick stop to be. When you enter, you're greeted by a huge wooden Chief Wasatch sculpture at the entrance. It's kind of hard to miss and gives the whole place a bit of character before you even step onto the paths. From there, it opens up into this really clean, green space that just feels well cared for. And clean is the big thing here that matters. It feels like the park is well maintained. The grass is lush, the landscaping is especially pretty in the summer months, and there are tons of mature trees that give you shade without making the place feel closed in. It strikes a nice balance between open space and cozy, private areas. The walking paths are another highlight. They're easy, flat, and perfect if you're just trying to clear your head or, like me, take a quick break and stretch your legs. You've also got little views of water here and there that add to the calm vibe without turning it into a full-on destination park. What's kind of impressive is how much is packed into one place. There's an amphitheater, sports fields for pretty much everything, a pool, even an outdoor ice rink when it's in season. The park has playgrounds, picnic areas, and pavilions, too. The park is open year-round and is clearly a local favorite because it's always buy, but the crowds never felt overwhelming when I was there. There's enough space to spread out, which helps. Overall, this park is not trying to be anything flashy, just a really solid, well-kept community park. Easy to walk, nice to look at, and surprisingly relaxing for a quick stop. Definitely one of those spots you end up appreciating more than you expected.

We really enjoyed our time exploring the museum and the hands on activities available. Something we found interesting was that on a Saturday morning it was pretty empty, it definitely started to pick up around early afternoon. I'm talking dressed-up crowd, glitter everywhere, real champagne, and the kind of DJ who knew exactly when to drop Beyoncé, ABBA, and a surprise 2000s throwback that had all of us losing our minds. I came in thinking I might just sip something bubbly and leave before midnight. Instead, I danced for four hours straight, made new friends, and now have a very blurry selfie that might become a family heirloom. The setting was gorgeous, by the way. Big open spaces, cool lighting, and just enough art and architecture to make you feel elevated while also clutching your clutch and screaming the lyrics to "Mr. Brightside." The vibe was party, but in a classy way. Like you could go full glam and not feel out of place, but also not feel judged if you kicked your heels off before midnight and went rogue on the dance floor. Which I did. No regrets. Would I go again? Already planning my outfit. 10 out of 10, would ring in the new year under a disco ball surrounded by Salt Lake's most unhinged and best-dressed again.
