We are grateful, especially to the owners of BSSWF for their commitment to our baby and making sure he was safe, happy and successful in their pool. During his journey, he learned fun songs, made friends, was comfortable floating on his back, sitting on the edge of the pool and being submerged under the water. We had such an amazing experience today at the aquatic center pool. I'm grateful the day passes are…read moreaffordable and we hope to eventually get memberships but it was a great day regardless! It was easy to purchase the passes on the website and then come into the pool area. It was so nice having a family bathroom too and seeing a few of them so that we didn't feel too rushed getting into our suits. My 2 year old is usually afraid of the water and I wasn't sure how he'd like it but he was so excited! Big kiddos to the kiddie area with the slide. It got him out of his shell and he became a new kid. He was actually purposefully dunking himself and getting his face wet. We spent a good amount of our time jumping off the side of letting him practice floating on his back. He even tried his new floaty for the first time and even wanted to try swimming by himself. He even tried the big water slide! They also had a good amount of lifeguards and all of them were spaced in the right places in every possible corner of the pool. I'm not used to that or the lifeguards don't seem to want to be there but every lifeguard was alert and paying attention. And they rotated fairly often which was nice too! We didn't go to the outside pool though. All in all it was an amazing first time and we'll definitely be coming back again this summer!

If your little one doesn't like to get splashed in the face this is a good time to go. It's pretty empty and if you are swimming with people who are not "toddlers" they can also swim. It's a much more relaxing atmosphere. The yellow slide is turned off during this time though

I was late signing up my 3 year old for swim lessons when a friend told me she heard there were…read morestill openings at this swim school. I was able to email Emily to find out what classes were still available. I was able to get him in for the second week of June, I brought cash to pay for his class. There were 5 other kids in his class that had two instructors. My son hasn't really been in many class settings so it was an adjustment for him to learn waiting his turn and following the group. I feel like they did a good job teaching him and maybe two weeks of lessons would be perfect for him. Parking: When you arrive to the address you'll see the driveway that goes down a steep private driveway. There is a little colored flag that says swim lessons on it but if you didn't see it like me, yes drive down the long driveway past the little playground and camping trailer. There are places to pull off to park or you can park on the north side driveway near the chickens/turkeys. DO NOT use the actual driveway at all. They made that very clear in the email. The swim lessons take place in the backyard, there's a big playground the children are allowed to play on and there is a bathroom available.

He analyzes each stroke and identifies specific fixes. He was able to consistently coach my 7 year old and keep him focused. He has kids constantly self monitor their technique so they are getting better independently as well as with him. Nate's coaching style is such that his swimmers love him but also know they must push themselves and do their best. They learn that hard work is hard but rewarding.
