There is also a game room, and a decent selection of free DVD's and books to borrow; as well as a couple of common areas with sofas, fireplace and big screen TV. The chef, Brittany was a big surprise for such a small city . Can't say enough about the food in Kersama Restaurant, so I'll just say everything we had over the course of the two night stay was excellent. Her husband Jesse worked well with her and served as the bartender and waiter, provided great service. Carol, one of the owners, was the perfect hostess. We had one slight glitch, and it was rectified immediately with no question. She was like a personal tour guide, suggesting where to go and what to do. Bear Lake is beautiful, and this is a wonderful place to stay if you are in the area.

The views were absolutely incredible -- waking up to the scenery around Bear Lake was one of the highlights of the trip. It really made the whole experience feel special and peaceful. The management team was also fantastic. They were responsive, friendly, and always available whenever we had questions or needed anything. That level of support made planning and hosting such a big group stress-free. Overall, this place was perfect for a large group retreat, family reunion, or event. Starting in mid-May we asked repeatedly if the pool house would be ready, and were told in writing it would be "completed before your July 3 arrival." Only five days before check-in did they finally tell us the pool would not be ready, offering a full refund to cancel or $1400 back. To be fair, they made the offer - but five days out, with 25 people who had rearranged schedules, booked flights, and food already purchased, canceling was not a real option. That disclosure should have come weeks earlier, when we were asking directly and being reassured instead. The pool house wasn't just unfinished - it was an active construction site: open framing, a boom lift parked inside, dirt floors, and exposed sheathing, completely unusable all weekend (photos attached). Inside the main home, workers were still on-site when we arrived, furniture and materials were piled in the living areas, floors were dirty, and check-in was delayed. We asked twice for a mop while their crews were there. Never got one. The listing shows three grills - there were none. One small grill was assembled the day we arrived, far too small for our group, so we cooked every meal in rotation. Two coffee makers advertised: zero, and no mugs. Most lamps had no bulbs. The theater room didn't work, the projector sound system didn't work even following their instructions, and the oven ran roughly 50 degrees below its set temperature - verified with our own thermometer and photographed. Staff were polite throughout and the $1400 partial refund was appreciated, but a last-minute refund offer doesn't undo six weeks of reassurances or a weekend of workarounds at a property marketed as a luxury estate. The entire state of the property was misrepresented - not just the pool. Get every promise in writing before booking, and don't count on it even then.

Our glamping tent was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, with some of the nicest beds we've slept in while traveling. The tent included both a heater and a fan, giving us options for any weather, although we didn't need either during our stay. The bedding was so comfortable and warm that we slept great throughout the night. The entire property was spotless, including the shower and bathroom facilities, which were always clean and well-maintained. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities in the bathhouses, including soap, shampoo, lotion, and hair dryers. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and a great atmosphere. The smash burger and Brussels sprouts were both outstanding and some of our favorite meals during our stay. We also loved the camp store, especially having fresh coffee available in the morning. One of the fun surprises was receiving a cute s'mores kit at check-in. It was a thoughtful touch and made our evening campfire even more enjoyable. What really made our stay special was the outstanding customer service. Steve went above and beyond--he came by to light our campfire, asked about our trip, and offered helpful recommendations for places to visit after leaving the ranch. We also noticed him providing the same friendly, personal service to other guests, which says a lot about the hospitality at Conestoga Ranch. There were plenty of activities to enjoy on-site, including free ping-pong tables and video games and air hockey available for a small fee. The ranch also offers a great selection of bicycles, and we enjoyed riding the scenic 5-mile trail to the marina and beach. One thing to note is that the campground is not directly on Bear Lake, but it's just a short distance away. We were treated to a gorgeous sunrise over Bear Lake from the ranch, which was the perfect way to start the day. Beautiful accommodations, excellent food, outstanding service, and a fun, relaxing atmosphere made this one of the highlights of our trip. We would definitely stay here again!

Not what it's cracked up to be. Definitely not worth the high cost. This place positions itself as…read morea luxury glamping experience. It was not. At first, the tent looked so cute and cozy. There are beds, dressers, fans, a heater, lighting, outlets. It seemed great. Until.... I noticed there were bugs in the bed. On the sheets, under the covers. So many little bugs. Unfortunately, I didn't see how many there really were until the morning. I took a zoomed in photo and discovered that they're a type of LICE! They were in all 3 beds in the tent, plus the carpets and floor. I fully recognize that this is nature, and I expected some bugs... spiders, flies, that kind of thing. But not lice in the beds. As if that weren't enough... When we arrived, we were told to text when we wanted to have the campfire lit (I assumed they wanted to have control over the fires, so that was fine) and that there was a bucket of water to put it out and for safety reasons. Someone did come to light the campfire, but I noticed the water bucket was empty. I told him about it, and he told me, "If you want to go to sleep, just leave the fire burning. It'll be fine." The fire pit was literally 3 feet from a mountainside of tall grass. The wildfires in Utah have been outrageous this summer. It's been terrible and devastating. If you live here, you know. I was not going to just leave a fire burning, throwing embers into the grass. My husband stayed up until midnight to make sure it burned out properly (fire extinguisher nearby just in case). Also... the shower in the bath house was cold, even turned up to completely "hot." I showered at 6:30am, before most of the campground was up, so no chance the hot water was depleted yet. And... We were told that breakfast and coffee would be available at 7:30am. It was not. The place wasn't even supposed to open until 5pm, so I'm not sure why they told us it was available in the morning. We left the campground for coffee and food. When we wanted to check out, we called for a golf cart as we were told to do. It was the hottest week in Utah history. It was seriously so hot. The office texted back that someone was on the way. We waited outside for 15 minutes before just carrying all our stuff through the campground and back to the car ourselves. We just wanted to leave. Passing the main building on the way to the car, 2 people were sitting on a golf cart just playing on their phones. Nobody ever went to the tent. Honestly, I could have accepted ALL of this (except the bed lice... that's a hard no) if one night wasn't $300-400 after fees. For a tent with a bed. Not worth it. I'd rather just camp for real.

We brought all of our stuff up to the condo and started looking around. As I opened the refrigerator door to start putting our food, the overwhelming smell of tuna hit my nose. I opened the freezer, and it was in need of a good defrost and cleaning--- there were yellow and orange/pinkish spills frozen into it. Our exploration of the condo further made us uneasy with it's uncleanliness. I called and left a message on the voicemail stating the uncleanliness of the condo and for a call back. When the property personnel called us back, they asked what was wrong, and while I was on the phone with them, housekeeping showed up. This was an entirely awkward situation as a. as a customer, I didn't feel that I should have to laundry list what was wrong with the condo in order to justify my uneasiness at how unclean it was and b. how awkward to have the person whose job you are complaining about suddenly show up at your door. I left the property personnel know we were deeply uncomfortable staying in a the condo because of it's uncleanliness and were thinking of staying elsewhere. She mentioned they had another condo over the way available for $479 vs. the ~$412 we paid, because it was two bath two bed. We let the housekeeper know we would be going to check out the other condo and if it was not satisfactory, would be leaving, so there was no need for her to stay. We did decide to take the other condo, but I had to ask for the same price rate because otherwise I would have had to pay to 'upgrade', which wasn't our intent--- we just wanted to stay in a clean place. I felt that making us pay for something that was the companies fault was poor customer service and that it should have been offered as such in the first place. After settling into the other condo we noticed that most of the dishes were dirty and had food stuck onto them and that someone could easily break through the front door. When you opened the door part of the door sealer moved and you could see inside the jam and inside the condo. When we left, we followed the instructions to leave the place generally clean, but could not get the washer to work. Just waiting for the $50 dollar charge to show up on my credit card for this. My thought is, if you want the customer to leave the place generally clean, does the company even clean afterwards? Judging by these two condos, there are definitely some oversights and I won't recommend or stay here again.

The park is convenient to gas and grocery as well as a food truck court right out front. The park is very clean and well kept. The RV sites are spacious to where the neighbors are not right on top of you. There is grass adjacent to the concrete parking pads, with a picnic table at each site. All the roads are paved and wide enough for big rigs to maneuver. Each site has full hook ups but only over the air channels for TV viewing. They offer propane sales and a little RV store inside the office. There is a nice clubhouse with kitchen, a garden out back, a dog wash station, a fitness area, a nice little food pantry, TV seating area, a book/game/video exchange, and a laundry. The park isn't too large but does have a second club house building with a TV seating area and laundry. This building also houses the showers and restrooms. We enjoyed our stay and will likely return when we are back in the area. They were very friendly, and treated us well.
