Stayed at Hampton Inn in Tremonton last night on our 27 hour trek home to Northern Canada from Oceanside, Ca. I booked through the Hotels.com app (Book 10 nights and earn a free night) but when we came to check in it had not registered on the system and they were down to their LAST room. Thankfully all worked out in the end. Hilton bought out Hampton Inn so you can also collect and redeem Hilton Honors rewards here. I love that the pool is open 6am to midnight which was a very good thing last night at 1030pm after a long day on the road for my kiddos. Our room (218) was the perfect size for our family of 4. One thing I've noticed about our stays in Hilton properties this past month is the bar in the shower is in a very awkward spot that always seems to jab me as I'm trying to wash my hair. The water pressure here was excellent! And the toiletries are a good quality - Neutrogena. Oh and ty black and white pictures outside of each door next to the room number were fun to look at as we walked the hallway to our room. Breakfast in the morning was fabulous! Flavored waffle batters, toppings like heath and whipped cream (no strawberry topping, however). There was cold pressed juices as well as smoothies ready to go. Hot prepared items this morning included turkey sausage and scrambled eggs with ham and cheese. There was a good selection of pastries, name brand cereals, and an oatmeal station. All of us got a kick out of the to go cups with smiles and mustaches on them. Also everything was compostable or recyclable! How could the stay have been better? According to my 8 year old, "Why does a fancy hotel like Hilton always have hard toilet paper?" Funny but true. I'd like the swimming pool to be 4-5 degrees Warmer and the hot tub to be 4-5 degrees cooler, lol. Overall, it was a great pit stop for a swim, quick sleep, and hot breakfast before hitting the road again at 7am.

I've stayed here at this hotel a couple of years ago when I was in town on business. I had a good stay so there was no reason to consider other options for this trip. Until now...the hotel has undergone a update since my last visit, and it looks really nice. I like it. Unfortunately the HVAC in my room was forever on cold...no heat. I finely turned it off. Thinking that a hot shower would warm me up...well, the tub/shower is so jammed with stuff that it is forever stuck splitting the water ...half going to the tub and half to the shower. Resulting in a poor shower. Management called me today at my business meeting and said they were not able to fix the HVAC and would like to move me one floor down. Not a problem, thank you. This evening I was thinking about soaking in a hot bath only to discover the same tub/shower probably. Either housekeeping isn't informing management of a problem or perhaps management isn't all that concerned. I'm not impressed.....

I would give zero if it was an option. I booked through their online website and after a 20 minute call and already have given out my card Info, I was told my room would be $60 more and I would need to confirm right away if I wanted to ensure a room, So I did. , after getting there I was told absolutely no refunds or exchanges, I was charged 200$ for the top room+50 worth of unexpected fees. I'll never come here again.

Great value!! Only 25min from Ogden with an incredible staff. For me, it helps they're accommodating for my dog but I'd stay regardless.

Great staff. Expensive considering location and pricing at other Hampton Inns and Hilton Garden Inns in nearby cities.

HOWEVER, check out just a short jaunt down the road and you have this amazing place called The Grille and a great coffee stand for the morning before rolling out of town. We were originally going to stay at a more commonly known place that also had good reviews, but they were full. I came to yelp and found this place. It is an older building so don't expect a suite. However, it has a nice western theme to it. The hospitality is great! Front desk was very helpful and friendly. The room itself, a king sized pet friendly room, had perfect and CLEAN floors and was large! There were TWO arm chairs in the room and a comfy bed. Fridge, microwaves... pretty much what you need. The vanity area was pretty small thats why I took a picture but it worked. Shower and toilet room were kinda small as well but they did the trick. I wasn't expecting a spa and it was not, but it was extremely comfortable. They serve breakfast in the morning but I didn't experience it we needed to head out. Check this out if you are in the area. Reasonably priced as well and we did not have a reservation.

This review is based off of an experience I had in mid August 2016…read more 5/5 because the price would lead you to think it'd be way worse. Both the interior and exterior are nicer than the current two pictures depicted. Amazing improvements through renovations have been, and are continuing to be made. Staff was great. Let them know I may be later than expected. They told me just to let them know and they'd leave the keys out for me. Room itself was a decent size. Nice bathroom with a standup shower. Mini fridge, table, seats, large queen sized bed (different rooms differ) and a new flatscreen TV on the wall with more channels than I've ever had at my own home. Microwave as well, lamps, large closet. The works. This little motel is definitely a gem tucked away in what a city slicker like me might refer to as the middle of nowhere. But in actuality, the town itself is a very nice place with very nice scenery and nature surrounding. Not a far commute to SLC. If you need a once over spot whilst traveling, you'd be doing yourself a disservice to not be staying here. If I ever happen to be in northern Utah again for the night, I know where to call first.

It's an older building off the beaten path with teeny-tiny bathrooms and and an even smaller parking lot. Now, on to my review. I called the front desk from Salt Lake City quite late in the evening. I was trying to push through as far as I could, but I knew I only had maybe an hour left in me before I started nodding off at the wheel. I almost pushed the "reserve" button on the Best Western just outside of town, but the cheapskate in me just could not warrant the $100 pricetag. I mean, I stayed at BW in Arizona the night before for HALF that. On to Yelp. I plotted my course and looked for the little pins along the way. I found this one with a pretty solid rating (thanks fellow Yelpers!) and called. The lady who answered was downright kind. I mean, really, really sweet. The price she quoted me was more my speed (uner $50). She had one room left. She told me that she turns in before midnight, but would be willing to wait for me as long as I promised to call if my plans changed. Mdme. GPS took me right to it, and, sure enough, the (very young-looking and beautiful) owner met me at the desk. She checked me right in and told me I got the "fun room" - meaning it had a separate bedroom besides the main room. (Side note - traveling as a group or with kids? Ask for room #9) We swapped a couple of stories. Her darling calico deemed me her newest best-best-best friend (and kept me company as I unpacked my van later). I got me a good, old-fashioned metal key on one of those diamond-shaped plastic jobbies. This amazingly kind woman even moved her own car so I'd have a place to park for the night. The front of the building is like an English garden. Well kept, blooming flowers, and little patio sets adorn the walkways. Enchanting. The room itself is nothing much - though (other than the postage-stamp sized bathroom), they are spacious. I chose to sleep in the bedroom area, as it was DARK and absolutely silent. I mean, sleepy-town zombies are a-coming quiet. Ahhhh.... The room is equipped with a modest flat-screen TV, a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, and well-maintained AC unit. The free wifi is easy to hook up to and works great. (Writing this on it now) The beds are quite comfortable. Did I mention how wonderfully quiet it is? The place was full, but you wouldn't know it. I did not hear a neighbor that evening or this morning. In fact, I kind of overslept. I never do that, even at home. One more note: the place is absolutely SPOTLESS. Housekeeping deserves an Olympic gold medal. This weary traveler found it charming. I would absolutely stay here again.

We booked a room upstairs and downstairs and both were incredibly comfortable. I'm really picky about mattresses and a horrible clean freak and everything passed the test. The grounds are peaceful and quiet and the snow was so beautiful. I highly recommend booking your stay here. It's worth every penny.

Wow pretty much sums up our stay at The Valley House inn!!!!!…read more My wife and I were on a 3 week motorcycle trip through the Pacific Northwest. We left Teton Village to Huntsville a day earlier than expected but we did not realize that until we arrived at The Valley Inn. Rachel the owner/host greeted us at the door and was surprised to see us a day early. My wife and I were surprised as well. Rachel took charge and accommodated us. Rachel was extremely attentive to our needs and showed us around the place and some of its history. The Valley Inn is a beautiful historical house that has been well maintained. Both inside and out of the house was beautiful. Although the online photos of the place are amazing they just don't give it enough credit. There are laundry facilities on site that cane in handy for us since we were traveling by motorcycle. There is a kitchen, dining room and living room that we had access to as well as the beautiful front, side and backyard. Don't forget to check out the garden and mural. We stayed in the Log Haven room. My wife and I loved the logs room. This room has an incredible bathtub with jets. It's like a little jacuzzi. You can imagine after riding all day how inviting this was. It was very relaxing. The room had all the amenities. My wife is very particular about places and she loved the room and house and Rachel. Our first full day Rachel invited my wife and I to go on a boat trip with her friends. Rachel made the most tasty egg sandwiches. You will have to ask her for the recipe. We met up with her friends and they were great people. We had an outstanding day on the Pine View Reservoir which is a 5 minute walk from The Valley House Inn. The breakfast is a lot of good tasty food. Eggs and potatoes with some vegetables mixed in from the garden. Nice thick bacon slices with sausage. Then she tops it off with awesome waffles with a sprinkle of powder sugar. I love to eat and I eat a lot but even this was a big meal for me. The Log Haven Room has a small dining room that overlooks the from of the house a relaxing view of the neighborhood and nature. My wife and I jumped on bicycles that Rachel provided us and rode around the small town. We stopped to look at some horses in neighbors yards, mailed some postcards off at the Post Office, checked out the American Legion then rode to Pineview Reservoir when we relaxed on a bench. I can't say enough nice things about Rachel and friendly staff at The Valley Inn. Rachel knows and understands her clients needs and really takes charge. With that said my wife and I got to help her in the kitchen. Rachel did not ask but was awesome enough to allow us to help out. I actually picked this place to surprise my wife and I definitely scored some major points. All in all I would say that this was the best experience and most beautiful and relaxing place on our 3 week 4000 miles motorcycle ride through 6 states. You have got to experience this place either if your traveling through, a retreat from a fast paced environment or want to spend time with a significant other. This is definitely a place you should check out. Well worth time and you will not be disappointed. P.S I will be posting more photos when I get more.

Accident: on our first night, lightning struck the hotel! It took out one elevator, the Wi-Fi on our floor, and apparently some other equipment. Not the fault of the hotel but it did change our experience! The team did the best they could. Apparently, the hotel was built in 2008 and will be renovated in 2025.
