I love me a good Marriott branded hotel, and this one in Logan didn't let me down. It's a larger hotel, with a conference center and a beautiful outdoor patio-perfect for a nice event. The location is terrific, right off the main street and surrounded by several eatery options. There's a river that runs through the property and has a nice walking trail too. The mature trees and landscape seal the deal for me. The room was super comfortable and I kind of liked how the bathroom was actually two spaces-one for the toilet and sink and another room for the shower and counter. It helps when you have more than one guest in the room and they can each take care of different business at the same time. Breakfast was modest but respectable. Everything we encountered was clean and well maintained. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. read more

The wheelchair-friendly room was quiet, but it had issues: Design: slippery bathtub with no anti slip mat, a long room with no natural light in the seating area, and bathroom doors intended for wheelchair users that have previously locked guests in the bathroom. Maintenance: blown light bulbs in the fridge and microwave. There is a small gap between the sliding windows allowing a little road noise. Also, the windows cannot be locked. Accident: on our first night, lightning struck the hotel! It took out one elevator, the Wi-Fi on our floor, and apparently some other equipment. Not the fault of the hotel but it did change our experience! The team did the best they could. Apparently, the hotel was built in 2008 and will be renovated in 2025. As part of the renovation, hotel management should assess whether it needs to install a lightning rod to reduce the damage from future lightning strikes. And to choose nonslip bathtubs. read more

I stayed here for a work trip several months back. It was really great! The room was clean and quiet. The set-up of the room was amazing. It had a living room area with TV, desk and couch, and a bedroom area with two beds. The most amazing part of this hotel, and it truly is amazing, is that there were TWO toilets and sinks. Genius! One space was just a small sink and toilet in a room and the other was a full bath with shower, sink, and toilet. I was traveling alone for this work trip, but I can only dream of having this kind of set-up when I travel with friends and family. It's brilliant, truly! The breakfast was also great- it covered a lot of bases and had a nice area at which to sit and eat. Nothing fancy, and I really enjoyed it. The staff was also quite nice. We had an issue with the reservations, and they quickly helped clear it up (it was booked through work). At one point, my key stopped working, and they happily got me set up with a new one. The front desk seemed a bit understaffed, as I had to wait quite a while to get the new key while one person was helping a line full of customers checking in, but that was the only downfall in the entire stay. read more

On the outside it looks like a newer hotel in a nice newer development. Once inside however you can see that it is in desperate need of a face-lift. It looks like it probably has not been renovated since it opened. The rooms and hallways have that sort of musty hotel smell. The rooms are still running on window units. The blinds are literally falling apart and the carpet, beds, fixtures, are all well past their use by date. That said, the beds aren't terrible to sleep on and the room was moderately clean. It just feels a little run down. For the price I think I would have expected it to be a little cheaper, but it was less expensive than others in the area like Hampton and Townplace suites. The first night we were there the hotel got hit by lightening, which was sorta cool to experience, but after it got hit the evelvators stopped working and we had to use the stairs for the rest of our trip. The staff was very friendly and very helpful which we always appreciate. I think we would stay here again only if it was less expensive or if they rennovate. We did love the shower though. One of the cleanest hotels we encountered on our trip to Utah. Jacob made sure the floors were clean each day. Front desk personnel were pleasant and were very helpful in meeting our needs and special requests. Coffee and tea available all day. Breakfast choices of scrambled eggs, yummy little waffles with toppings, oatmeal and yogurt with toppings, and one meat or meat-vegetable dish. We did not use the meeting rooms area but it is nice. read more

My complaint isn't about the hotel itself but that it's attached to the Riverwoods Conference Center. We could hear the loud music from our 4th floor room late into the night. If you stay here, just make sure you are nowhere near the conference center or you'll have a miserable night. read more

We spontaneously called and booked a room here today and the front desk was super kind to give us a $15 discount! The room is beautiful and super clean! We took our kids to play in the pool and we had a blast! I don't know how old this hotel is but everything looks brand new! The pool towels are SO nice! I will definitely be back!! read more

Very nice rooms with fancy beds and showers. (The showers have a nice dual-level jets that keep you warm and get you clean. Perfect for after going to the Crystal Hot Springs in December, and getting cold on the way to Logan (for example.) . I've verified that you can successfully play Spades in these rooms. The couch is larger than a twin bed, and another large twinish trundle bed pulls out from under the couch. Really easy to sleep 4 here without sharing a bed. read more

My one night at the Springhill Suites has converted me to be a fan of this Marriott subsidiary for life. As the previous poster said, the room was ridiculously clean and nice. It really felt like a little luxury suite, for about $100 a night - tough to beat. Super clean, great exercise room, nice pool and jacuzzi setup, and breakfast was great too. My only beef was that the wireless was a little bit laggy (guessing somebody else was torrenting and burnin' up the network) but they remedied that by allowing me to access an employees-only network that ran super smoothly. Also, they have free covered parking in case you're staying in the winter. I threw my car under the structure and kept it snow-free. All in all, I got myself a Marriott Frequent Flier club card thing-a-ma-jig and have full intentions to seek out Springhill Suites in the future. read more

Updated, beautiful rooms, FRIENDLIEST staff. We stayed here while visiting family in the area and not only were the accommodations incredibly comfortable and stylish, the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We were traveling with children and had a few friends visit and the staff were so understanding and made everything so comfortable. Also really well located, close to food and drinks including Starbucks. We'll be returning when we're visiting family in the area. read more

This hotel has amazing staff that are conscientious and very helpful. From Barry, Camry, Jerom, Skylar, Annette, and their tireless engineer, the attention to detail for my comfort was better than any other I've experienced. They have grocery delivery via an app called Rosie where you can shop from a local grocery store for many food choices. I stayed almost a week and Barry was awesome to recommend this convenience for my stay. Their breakfast buffet was delicious and fresh; not rubbery and stale (as some I've had). The restaurant onsite was unreal. Great choices and selections offering great variety. Room service was fast and convenient. I've stayed at hundreds of Marriott properties all over the country. Typically, I know what to expect from each of their brands. Without fail, this includes a well cooled (or well heated) room. Not here. This is a new hotel but we couldn't get the temperature below about 75 degrees. We called and all they did was send up a fan. When I checked out, I voiced my displeasure to which I received an "I'm sorry." While I appreciate she was sorry, I didn't expect to spend my Rewards Points on a room that I described to the front desk as "sweltering" and a "miserable" nights sleep. I'm a Platinum Elite member, so I've come to expect better lodgings. I think this is a poor reflection on the owner and/or manager. Honestly, I think next time I'm in Logan I'll opt for the Hampton. read more

Front staff was kind and fast but that's about the end of the pleasantries. The heater in our room didn't work so it was 66 degrees all night. We were not told that the pool was closed for renovations so I had four very disappointed kiddos. Breakfast was a joke! The old guy who fills the breakfast buffet was so ornery the whole time and told my 3 year old to "MOVE." The dining room was leaking tons of water!! It looked like waterfalls coming out of the lights and you could tell they've had a problem for awhile because the ceiling had patch jobs all over. There was water dripping into peoples cereal bowls. You think they'd fix the roof before they renovated the pool but what do I know. read more

Huge improvement for Logan. Nice hotel, room service etc... House keeping sucks!!! non existent. Pool is the worst chlorine smell I have ever smelled. Im from san Diego, I have a pool, My pool guy says, if you smell chlorine (it does not smell it is odorless ....unless it is killing bacteria...) Run away!!! It reeks. watering eyes. .. Stupid slider glass bathroom doors, you cant take a pee and shower in the same rooms. and if someone wants to use bathroom in night, door is directly in front of beds with glass doors and wakes everyone up. Do yourself a favor.....go to hamptom, nice, new, much better experience.. In addition, we could not check in at check in time at 3 until 6 pm (had to sit in lobby with 4 kids) ....as the "foot ball team from ID in playoffs were still 'using the rooms". High end chain trying to make it in small town......=failures.. !!! read more

This is my hotel of choice when I come to Logan once a month. Rooms are always clean, beds are so comfortable with great pillows that you won't ever want to get out of bed. I have nothing but smiles and niceness from staff who go out of their way to help. Rooms are large. And are near restaurants. I do wish they had bathtubs though. None of the rooms do. read more

The rooms are huge and the hotel itself is situated next to several restaurants. Check-in was easy, parking is free, as is wifi and breakfast. My king suite had a sitting room with desk, chair, and a pullout sofa with linens already provided in the closet. There's also a nice "bar" area with its own light, fridge, and microwave. The toilet is separate from the shower, and each little room has its own sink. The showers are huge and have these little optional jets that aim at your belly. Novel. My only complaint is that the floors in the shower and bathroom are incredibly slippery when wet...which, duh...things are slippery when wet, but these are dangerously so. The hallways are wide and well lit, the lobby is large, and the fitness center has 2 treadmills, one bike, and 2 ellipticals, plus a set of free weights and a bench. There's a pool and hot tub, too, but kinda small. read more

My family and I have stayed at this Springhill Suites in Logan for the past three years for a springtime dance competition. I am continually impressed with the level of service this hotel provides. First, the staff is friendly, and I'm not kidding. From the housekeeping staff to the morning breakfast workers to the hotel manager, every employee has a huge smile and goes out of their way to not only ask how you're doing, but appear to honestly mean it. This hotel is why we seek out the Springhill brand when we travel. Our room is always spacious and very clean; pillows and bedding are top-rate; furnishings are modern and in great condition. If you're staying in Logan, particularly for more than a night or two, I recommend this Marriott hotel. read more

We come here for a week each summer and I notice that the housekeeping is going downhill. The bath had hairs in the shower, they didn't vacuum and just pulled the covers up on the bed instead of straightening up properly. I was shocked at the difference from last year. There were papers from a previous guest under the chest of drawers and I didn't want to look under the bed. No surface was wiped either Sorry that it is going downhill here. They used to be reliably neat and clean. Then Cat came and cleaned on Sunday and it was back to previous standards. She was wiping away when I came back to the room and got her name. What a treasure she is. Everything was clean and tidy And she was so cheerful and asked if there was anything else I needed. She said mine was not her usual room to clean and I believe it. But she made it great. Too bad the other cleaners don't have her high standards of thoroughness. Why hotels everywhere cut corners on housekeeping when that makes or breaks their reputation is beyond me. It is such a mistake and not seeing to it will mean the difference. This hotel does so much. Great location at the newer end of town. Nice clean new suites with a helpful staff and walking distance to restaurants and Starbucks. My only complaint and it is a matter of taste is the trend to use glass doors to the bathrooms - so if someone turns on the light in the middle of the night it blasts light all over the bedroom. But the doors look cool during the day :) otherwise this place was wonderful. check out the "elements" restaurant next door great food and wine that is drinkable in a town that seems to want wine drinkers to have the most miserable experience ever With the cooking grade wine most establishments offer. read more

We have some personal circumstances that are requiring us to stay in Logan for an extended time. The general manager, Brady, has been incredibly compassionate and accommodating. The staff have followed suit. In these difficult times (our personal ones, as well as those we are going through globally), this hotel's staff are going above and beyond to be there for their guests. Wow! Very surprising!! Springhill is one of Marriott's lower end chains so we didn't expect much. This is a beautiful place!! It's adjacent to the new conference center and next door to "elements" a very good restaurant. So the location on Main Street is super convenient. The lobby is spacious, upscale and beautifully decorated. Urban contemporary theme. Nice fireplace and lots of casual conversation areas as well as table tops for casual meetings/ surfing. The rooms were really jaw dropping beautiful. Modern decor, understated but beautiful. True suites with separate sitting area including a computer ready desk. The flat screen ( maybe 32-35") pivots for viewing in the bedroom or the sitting area. Great bed and linens, spacious ultra modern full bath and a half bath off the sitting area. Bar area with microwave and fridge. Every detail very thoughtfully designed. Indoor hot tub and pool area also beautifully appointed. We were here on business, I'd love to come for pleasure! And leave only for meals!! LOL! Seriously, worth twice the price easily and a real surprise for small town Utah!! read more

stayed here for a business trip ans was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was and how friendly the staff was my room was pretty spacious with 2 double beds, a separate toilet with sink and a separate shower with sink, a work station and a 2 piece living room set - maybe its the new yorker in me and how rooms in ny are much smaller but in any event i was impressed by how big my room was the room was clean as how any hotel room should be and there was a mini fridge as well so you can store drinks, etc in there - another big plus in my book as i like having a mini fridge to do exactly that the one unfortunate snag i ran into was that my room would not lock - the room cleaning staff was on my floor when i discovered this and they promptly called front desk and a manager who upon realizing their handy man was gone for the day, gave me a new room immediately if i'm ever back in the area, i would definitely stay here again read more

I always stay at the Marriott chains. This hotel in Logan was centrally located. It was very clean and beautiful on the inside. The breakfast was good as usual. It was close to all the local restaurants. They accommodated my top floor request quite nicely and smoothly. There was an issue with the TV not working but then called the front desk and someone was there in 5 minutes to fix it. The rooms were immaculate and decor was modern and updated. The front desk person was friendly and took pride in her hotel. I brought my whole family and they were all comfortable and ver happy. I will return and definitely recommend them to my friends and family! read more

I stayed here just last weekend with my daughter and we loved it! The bed was really comfy and all the linens including the towels smelled clean but not over bleached like other hotels. The breakfast was okay. Same thing each morning while I was there but they had soy milk which was great because my daughter is lactose intolerant. The staff was very friendly and accomidating. Overall a very great experience that didn't break the bank. I would stay here again for sure. read more

I wanted to start by saying I stay at hotels all over the US. I called last min on 4/19/2019 around 1600. I asked for there best room. When arrived I was greeted by two younger woman. They were very helpful and friendly. They stated that they didn't have the room I booked over the phone. She apologized and offered me a room that downgraded the original room I had booked. When I got to my room 311, it was clean and had good storage. I opened the cover on the window and the drape was torn. I had to put a pillow in the window to block the sun. In that room when you turn the bathroom light on the TV shits off. I gave this place all in all a 3. They have a great pool, workout room and breakfast was good. read more

Stayed here in October 2015. The room was great and the hot breakfast was actually really good. The location was great. I definitely recommend walking over to the crepe location nearby for breakfast as well. The only downside was that I felt like I could hear all the people in the rooms around me taking a shower, opening doors, etc. which make it kind of difficult to sleep at times. read more

This hotel has some issues with its safety, security, and staffing, nice will kept hotel, staff if super friendly and helpful. Be careful around the hallway near pool as its very slippery and they don't mark it at all. Our daughter slipped and fell and sprained get wrist. When we asked to speak to the manager on duty the front desk employee informed me she was the only employee working that night and too top it off she was pregnant, super nice but she obviously needed help. I am not suggesting it is a five star Ritz Carlton type property but I am saying we got FIVE-STAR treatment, in all regards, on two recent visits to this hotel. We had a sudden need to be in Logan due to the death of two family members. We stayed for a few nights the first time and everybody was extremely friendly. We went back a second time for the funerals and they made sure to put all our family on the same floor and near each other. Property was clean, great breakfast (even had gluten free bagels), gym was small but adequate, indoor pool and hot tub were a nice break from the day, and several restaurants in the parking lot. The location is near the south end of town and easy walk to many businesses. The crepery and the Bee-Hive were two of the favorite restaurants our group frequented multiple times. We will be back in Logan soon and will stay here again for sure! read more

Amazing! I flew in from Ohio for my brother's wedding and the hotel blew me away. Impeccably clean rooms, nice daycor, the pull out bed was just as comfy as the queen beds. Plus, they don't skimp on soft comfy pillows. I didn't want to leave the room. However, it was not only the room that impressed me it was the wedding, decorations, and staff. The hotel has several fireplaces all decorted for Christmas, the seating for the wedding was done quickly and beautifully as well as the reception hall. I was very impressed at how little we saw the staff and everything was done and ready to go. They allowed the wedding to be kept private, intimate, and the entire setting made it a magical day for everyone! If you want a getaway in the winter THIS place is a Winter Wonderland. The landscaping, and windows provide numerous picturesque views. The mountains, trees, and creek all have been utilized in making this place so beautiful. I Highly recommed this hotel to everyone. Clean pool, hot tub, and exercise room(all utilized by my family). The Marriott made this weekend not only special for my brother but allowed our family to have some pretty awesome memories! read more
