    Mushrooms should have been composted
    Teresa M.

This is a new bar that soft opened not all that long ago. They kept with the decor of Half Lion so it's familiar if you've been. I popped in on Sunday morning and there was only one other person. Service was friendly and prompt. I went with a blueberry mojito, which was pretty damn good. For lunch I went with the mushroom mulligan flatbread. It was lukewarm, one note, bland, and the mushrooms really should have been tossed in the compost. You couldn't pay me to eat another one. My dinning partner when with the seafood chowder, which was "pretty good (with a shrug)" I noticed that the bread that came along with it was so hard that it was inedible. I know they're in soft open and there are kinks to work out, but I really don't see myself coming back.

We loved going here before it changed so didn't hesitate twice to trying the new place out. Inside, they didn't change much or anything at all. They do have daily specials and signature cocktails. Overall, if you're hungry and in the area, sure. But not a place I'd go out of my way to eat at. The food is basic, but decent. The calamari rings were half soggy, half crunchy with less than a handful portion. For $16, I'd pass. They do give you pretty generous sized fried jalapeños. My bf ordered a steak and chili. The steak and chili was good. Veggies still had some bite to it. Flavor was basic overall, nothing to rave much about. The mashed potatoes was his least favorite. Super dry and chunky.

Food was much better when they first opened and appears to be cutting corners. Wish they would follow the Dinos model of quality

I been dropping in and out of this nice little kept secret for not kidding..... 25 years now!…read more It's a great little smokehouse secret! Something for everyone here! Was bar top this visit passing through town through business this week. Chris was my main server today. What a gentlemen! And so accommodating to me! I had the Pork chop tonight without dissatisfaction! With the well thought out mash potatoes, and beans! It was hardy! And filling! There is so many special other things that you can order here on the smoke side meat side! After dinner engaged with Melissa and Desiree. They are all engaging and a fun quick chat! For me really nothing not to like about this well long established place! Always consistent place. Job well done at Sharps!

We were pleasantly greeted and escorted to a table. The hostess started to seat us in an area that the tables are placed very close together and next to a table full of adult diners. We had our grandchildren with us and I could see that wouldn't work so I asked to be placed at a booth which wouldn't be so intrusive to other diners and she was able to accommodate us. There is no denying that tables are placed very close together here. Our waiter was very professional and the staff worked as a team. The food here is very good and the servings are large. With that said I gave it a much better review this time. I just can't give it a 5 because of the seating. I would recommend trying it. If you don't mind dining in tight quarters this a great place for good food.

If you're looking for a flashy, high-end bistro, keep driving. But if you want a solid,…read moredown-to-earth breakfast that actually hits the spot, you need to check out The Firestarter Bar in Kent. I've been in a few times and am impressed by the quality of the food. My hats off to the chef! Here's the breakdown of the meal: The Food Chicken Fried Steak: This wasn't one of those cheap frozen patties that's all breading. It was nice and thick with just the right amount of crunch. Sausage Gravy: The gravy can make or break this dish, and they nailed it. It was thick, savory, and had tons of flavor. Stuffed Hash Browns: I upgraded my regular hash browns to the stuffed version with bacon, and it was the best decision of the day. They were perfectly fried and crispy--exactly how hash browns should be. Over Easy Eggs: It's surprisingly hard to find a place that doesn't overcook these lately, but mine came out exactly as ordered. Pancakes: I swapped my toast for pancakes, and they were fluffy and light. They serve them with soft whipped butter and syrup, which makes a huge difference. The Service The real star of the morning was Debbie. She's essentially a one-woman show--running the bar, waiting tables, and serving everyone. She is absolutely awesome and keeps the place moving smoothly. It's rare to see that kind of hustle these days. The Verdict Don't let the "bar" label or the exterior scare you off. It's a friendly, welcoming spot with better food than most dedicated breakfast joints in the area. Give this place a chance--you won't regret it.

I'm so glad we decided to stay and eat... the crispy chicken sandwich was fabulous! Definitely will order again if in the area. Breakfast was what my sister ordered and she raved... no leftover. Good day, Yelpies,…read more There's something quietly remarkable about a restaurant that survives not just decades, but generations of changing tastes--and still manages to feel relevant. This establishment, which first opened its doors in Seattle in 1967 before relocating to Sea-Tac in 1976 under the guidance of the original owner's wife, carries with it more than just longevity--it carries legacy. Its name traces back to Lima, Peru, inspired by Las Trece Monedas--a folkloric tale of a humble young man who, armed with only thirteen coins, pledged unwavering love and devotion to win the heart of a wealthy man's daughter. It's a fitting origin story for a restaurant rooted in perseverance, passion, and heartfelt hospitality. Half a century later, those same values echo through every plate and every interaction. The menu delivers consistently satisfying fare, and the service operates with a rhythm that only comes from years of refinement. But perhaps most impressive is the sheer ambition of it all--executing quality food around the clock, 24 hours a day, is no small feat. It's the kind of operational endurance that deserves recognition on its own. Whether you arrive for breakfast at dawn, a late-night dinner, or anything in between, this is a place that meets you where you are--and feeds you well when you get there. Cheers --The Dutchman
