The girl behind the counter said that I had damaged my charging port and could see a pin missing on my phone so she said it was not covered and it was going to be very expensive to fix. She noted that if I had Applecare it would only be $49.00 to repair. So I took my phone to the phone shop and the owner said that my phone look like new and she didn't see any pins or damage to my port. She said that I was still under warranty and to make them fix it. I didn't trust Geek Squad so I went to Alpha Computers in Richland and they fixed it free of charge. I'll never trust Best Buy Geek Squad.

I first went in on January 12th and was told the repair would take about 2 hours. Not only wasn't it done on time, but the technician damaged the back of my phone. I was also told the camera had been replaced--which was not true, because the same issue came back shortly after. From there, it was constant delays and mistakes: * Wrong camera part ordered (twice) * Multiple appointments where nothing was fixed * Weeks of waiting with no resolution Now, after all of this, they're telling me my warranty expired, so I have to pay out of pocket--even though I brought the phone in back in January and they had three months to fix it. At one point they said they'd fix it as a courtesy, but when I came in on April 26th, they refused unless I paid. This wasn't my fault--I followed their process every step of the way. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and repeated errors made this one of the worst service experiences I've had. If I could give zero stars, I would.
