She noted that if I had Applecare it would only be $49.00 to repair. So I took my phone to the phone shop and the owner said that my phone look like new and she didn't see any pins or damage to my port. She said that I was still under warranty and to make them fix it. At one point they said they'd fix it as a courtesy, but when I came in on April 26th, they refused unless I paid. This wasn't my fault--I followed their process every step of the way.
